Dude fantastic videos! So thorough and educational. Where did you order the gasket kit from? Looks to be OEM and I’m going to tackle this, this weekend
Hello. Yes OEM parts ordered from www.rockymountainatvmc.com/ in the OEM parts section. If you need help looking up the parts I have a video on how to order OEM parts that walks though this, here is a link to that vdieo... ruclips.net/video/slOfGOMQshs/видео.htmlsi=7Sd9uGb2r4Nh87hy
Could you do a video on Hydraulic clutches? Like bleeding them and a little crash course of how they work? I'm working on a 2023 Husky 350 for a friend and I've found the clutch slave to be a bit confusing.
Great video! KTM backorder issues are a nightmare. My 501 has been out of action for over a year waiting on parts. Just ridiculous that they can keep releasing new bikes every year but can't get parts to their customers. After being on their bikes for the last 10 years I've finally started looking at other brands. It's not even remotely reasonable. They need to fire and replace everyone in control of their supply chain, unbelievable incompetence IMO!
Oh man bummer. Honestly if its been a year you might not ever get them parts from KTM. I'm not even kidding you. in 2019 I was unable to get a set of cases for a 2017 KTM 250sx, and to this day they are unavailable. I would start looking for them parts used on ebay if I was you, just to get the bike going again. Thats a real bummer man.
@@UpAllNight91 I've heard other stories like that as well :( I may have to do that. I always like to use OEM stuff if there is an option.. On that note, are there any aftermarket pistons you prefer if not going OEM? I've been looking at Wossner..
@@JonathanVee Wossner is a good piston for sure. I really like wiseco for the 2 strokes. For the 4 strokes I usually use OEM unless the make and model is known for having a weak piston then I use a forged piston like wiseco instead of the OEM piston.
At 45.30 Is that what creates clutch chatter in neutral with clutch out ??? . Pull clutch in the chatter goes away . My 17 model is quite loud at 230 hrs .
Thanks! I use bolts ranging from 90mm long to about 105mm long. Here is a link to where you can order some of the longer ones I use www.partzilla.com/product/honda/95701-06100-00?ref=91afe81b5e92b5df5b0357fb0e22be205089deb4
I been doing this for years and this part comes easy for me but in my earlier days I would arrange the parts and bolts in a fashion that would help me remember when its time to put it back together.
The Yamaha manuals are downloaded from free from yamaha. Other manuals I either google and search for a free down load. Some came from owners of the bikes that have offered me the manual when I'm working on their bike. And sometimes I just have to fork up and buy them as you mentioned. I collect every manual I run across so once I have it I have it.
I haven't rode a KX450 and a KTM 450 back to back so its hard to say but in the shop the KX450 is probably more reliable and cheaper to maintain overall. The KX450 will also be a little easier to work on. But the KTM 450 is a nice bike so I'm not taking anyway away from it.
approiate with the Rooster crowing and your UpAllNight91 in your sig,I thought it was cool
😄Thanks!
Great video ! Just casually watching to learn what the transmission looks like and was entertaining
Ahh, Thanks. The parts actually arrived early so hopefully I will have this up and running this week.
That bolt trick is awesome - been using it ever since I seen you do that on that Yamaha engine. Works perfect 👍
Right on
I did the same last week too!
Keep up the good work bro 🔥
Thanks brother! I will do my best!

I call them engagement dogs and the gap is the gate.
"Gate", that makes sense for the name of that area.

how exactly do you remember where each bolt belongs ? do you put them in a case with a written title on it or how are you doing it ?

May i ask how do you have all the service manuals? Im struggling sometimes, can only buy one for 40$

eww, thats a bummer
What do you think of these bikes compared to a kx?

My air ratchet is a AirCat, it's "quiet" as far as I can tell, compared to my friends' monstrosities.
AirCat. Hmm. Thanks I think I will look at some of them. Anything quieter will be better
Weird 5th went normally its lower 1ns
Yeah. He was doing lots of clutches shifting.
Your chicken funny.

Hello you can email me at upallnight91@hotmail.com

Wow , ktm is a crap see brand new and already melting down , also if not use you clutch do shift that you get .
The owner did admit to not using the clutch for up shifts. So maybe thats what caused all this.
@@UpAllNight91 I knew it !
