It's not necessarily 'hard'... they just have to commit to it without deviation. I watched this rotation fall apart at the show in Massillon that year. One quarter of the block took a fall that night. Quick recovery and they carried on. It was a dramatic moment, worrying about all those teeth out there, hoping nobody got any knocked out!
Matt Harloff was involved in Cadets 98? didn't know. I only know he's Crown, and was the dm in Star 93 (and their fabulous alumni 2010 stuff, which amazes me just as 93 did.)
That’s what good staff used to do back in the day, earned their pay as well. Nowadays, Snapchat takes priority and they only run to catch a good selfie. # Keep Freemasonry out of Dci
Perfectionism! Nothing less. (I always say there is a "perfectionism of the bad kind" (when you are TOO hard on yourself (never do that!) and "perfectionism of the good kind," this is the latter;)
Am I so old that this was recorded the summer I learned to march? Sophomore in HS (my hs was only 10-12th grade)...THIS is the quality of our videos from then? LOL dang. I wanted to be good enough to audition for any corps but, alas, doomed to be mediocre at playing even though I was good at marching.
98 Cadets is one of those not often talked about shows that deserves more credit. What a crazy awesome show!
I haven’t seen Stonehenge in forever! That was such a cool show and the drill was NUTS!!! Definitely needs more love!
This has to be one of the hardest drill moves I’ve ever seen. That’s insane.
Man I WISH I wouldn't have waited until 99 to audition. I have always wanted to march this show. But I got to march 2000 so it's not so bad.
@@TheRailwayDrone Lol “not so bad”

Yeah, the toilet bowl was rough.

Wow! This video makes me feel old. Lead mello, CBC, 98-00.
We apparently marched together in 99 and 2000.
@@TheRailwayDrone who are you?

This is GOLD!! How have I never seen this before?
At the time, we had just found Superfan again, so he converted all his old tapes from the 90s into digital form.
It looks different when close up and at practice...
I believe that’s Matt Harloff being Matt Harloff 0:10
Pretty sure he still moves like that too 😂

Well done! Thank you for sharing my friend. Great Like 6
Incredible. I watched the cadets for the colorgaurd and marching.
Glennis to your left!
Why were the techs running?
Listening to the sound quality coming out the horns and marching style etc...
