As a soldier of the 1960s, I watch events such as this, HM Queen Elizabeth's funeral etc and invariably wind up shaking my head, thinking how the drill has become dismal. In a way, the officer is punishing them though. The 4 'o' Clock Parade started in 1894 when Queen Victoria found the entire guard drinking and gambling while on duty and as a punishment, ordered that they had to be inspected every day at 4pm by an officer for the next 100 years. agreed
The officer is being very enthusiastic in his giving of orders and his inspection which makes me think that he has been commissioned from the ranks.
@@TownsvilleRoleplayOfficial /That's not screaming! The officer is giving a command. Did you ever had drills when you were in high school? I did. I grew up from the Philippines.
@@peterbrown1012 He’s certainly enough to frighten the horses! Imagine doing all that in public!
Magnificent, the soldiers as well
Excellent inspection!
But he would be a target if we went to any action?
Even the horses are well disciplined and are attentive. Really amazing. The world's most best guards ❤❤🇲🇾🇲🇾
Best?
@@petrasant5495 why do people keep making creepy comments like this 😭
Many horses would reflexively kick when a person walks behind them. Nary a twitch from this pair.
@@sillyone52062 Not sure what experience with horses you have/had but that's not true.
Most best? The mostest bestest, surely?
Absolutely bloody marvellous! Rule Britannia 🇬🇧
C est toujours impressionnant de voir les protocoles de tous ces gardes ..mérite à eux et vive le roi!
It’s a change to hear the King’s Guard.
That’s right! Haha how are you doing?
Ahhh the good ole inspection! He's just using his command voice. The officer actually appears quite friendly, you can see him smiling while inspecting and talking to the soldiers. Annnnd pointing out demerits on a couple uniforms to the NCO..lol
We all need more disapplin in the world to respect and love each other
And better spelling😉

Its amazing how GB was able to maintain this oldest tradition they have throughout their history during the medieval times how precious this ceremony is being done until now at this age of modernity. I cant imagine how people feel those times and now..
The funny thing is that this ceremony is relatively new - just a bit over a century. Look up the Ceremony of the Keys - I think you’ll enjoy it.
Forget the voice, that man's stach is what really commands authority.
The real backbone of The United Kingdom. We truly are Blessed to have our Dedicated Royal Military Forces. 🙏🌎🇬🇧
the officer didnt even shout he was only commanding the gaurds
Guards
In a way, the officer is punishing them though.
The 4 'o' Clock Parade started in 1894 when Queen Victoria found the entire guard drinking and gambling while on duty and as a punishment, ordered that they had to be inspected every day at 4pm by an officer for the next 100 years.
Although the 100 years finished in 1994 Queen Elizabeth II wanted the parade to continue as a tradition.
Real Responsibility!!! Good work mr. Officer!!! GOD bless you!!!
So much tradition and culture in one video these guys are pros
If by ‘pros’ you mean brainwashed bootlickers then you’re absolutely right.
lmao nah man they are moving around too much and not in sync
I love that the swords greet each other ☺️
Well done the boys...keel up the good and hard work fellas.
I never seen a military posterior inspection carried out so meticulously & so seriously 😂
I spotted one whose bum didn't fit his trousers, or he needed to pull them up!
you should watch the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. They’re measured to 1/64 of an inch lol
@@margaretflounders8510 The trousers (aka buckskins) are cut generously on the seat to allow for a comfortable position when in the saddle. Tight clothing isn't comfortable.
That isn’t shouting.
That’s an excellent example of issuing drill commands.
I can't imagine how the guards can stand perfectly still for that long
Whoever decided "Officer SHOUTS at The King’s Guards!" is an appropriate and not misleading title for this video is either ignorant or deliberately wanted to make this a click bait.
Impeccable.
Makes me proud to be British and have served my country.
Did you kill any goat farmers or did you stick to women and children?
Mainly in brothels son.
