It’s not college if everyone fails everyone fails lol idk how many questions not too many though and if you pay attention in class you shouldn’t have to study too much just refreshing on the material
I read that for CYBER NETWORK DEFENDER you don't need to do Basic Training, you go directly to AIT, I'm just wondering if it would be physically difficult to do the AIT because you aren't as prepared as other people that went to BT.

@Iron Heart For 25B or 19D? I'd imagine 25b would need a 110 GT score (the most important sub score on the asvab). 19D will take just about anyone that can pass.

What/how can I get guaranteed acceptance into 17c I know scoring high in GT and ST are important. Is there any way to prove my devotion to the cyber path outside of the asveb???
Just get the highest GT you can get then when you go to pick your job pick that if it’s available if not available wait til it’s available DONT let the recruiter try to get you to pick something else

Sometimes a job won’t be available at the time you wanna join so you will just have to wait til it is don’t let you recruiter make you pick a job you don’t want just so you can leave sooner

That’s good you got certs you will look really high speed at your unit and yes math is involved at AIT especially if 25B. And no nobody fails foundations

Actually shorter AIT don't mean greater career. I'm 25B with Sec+/Net+/A+/CCNA certifications and did it within two years of my enlistment. Army paid for all my certs and I can get out of the Army with my security clearance and making 6 figures a year. I'm a server admin and already have several companies asking when I'm getting out (to include contracting jobs). So yeah a longer AIT won't make you more money. It's all on networking and your work ethic!

You can’t join the army as 25D ( cyber network defender ) you have to be already in and a Sgt

you don't need a degree, just experience and certs unless you want to be management. Goals from military(TSSCI or above, Sec + at least, experience)

Yes you can do this job in the reserves and this job is great for civilian jobs as long as you get some certs Atleast get security+
