Next season, Manning will be the number two. That is pretty much guaranteed. Anything beyond that, honestly, will all come down to Ewers. Now fast forward to this time next year. What happens if Ewers decides to actually play his senior season? That is where the only issue I see is. I can't see Manning agreeing to waste 3 seasons on the bench. I can't see Texas allowing Manning to ride the bench. But this is college football and really strange things happen every week.
Yo no disrespect but you're off line here just like everyone else who are thinking Arch might transfer.....I can tell you people don't follow UT football. If anyone transfers it will be Malik Murphy. Which will in turn make Arch the backup next year heading into the SEC. Arch had a hand in recruiting some of the commits to UT so I highly doubt he's going anywhere. This is just a bunch of smoke with no fire.
Arch will benefit from the bench next year. He’s not ready- looked over his head in exhibition and needs to bulk up. The Mannings are loyal and not opportunists- they won’t chase a starting role.

Riley didn't recruit Baker or Murry who both came to Oklahoma on their own. He did recruit Rattler and we see how that has gone. Riley was a great play caller before he became head coach but he has NEVER done both really well. As far as him being some qb whisperer he was just in the right place at the right time. His time as SC won't be long because he is not a great HC. It take coaches 5 years to get their team in place and his 5th year at Oklahoma was a disaster as will his 5th year at SC.
Dude no rush. Keep studying by his sophomore year he will be untouchable. Declare after his junior year or stay he would be the best quarterback in the country with ease.
I was surprised he initially chose Texas. Not exactly a QB pipeline and Ewers was already there. I'm a Buckeye, so would advocate for him to team up with Ryan Day and get good prep for the NFL.
Regardless of the situation, playing football will allow you to grow greater in its capacity than simply just practicing. The only advantage to being a back up is learning all of the backend intricacies of football which, unfortunately if you’re a full-time starter in high school a lot of times you don’t get any of that knowledge so it’s a double edge sword it always comes down to what the kid ones but I would always recommend playing over not playing.
Whomever ends up with Arch isn't going to be too pleased! He's a true 3 star QB if you don't hear his last name. He should stay at Texas a grow. He doesn't need the type of pressure these other schools will require from him as a starter.
Listen to your uncles, they have the "in" on the game and the inside info. This kid need reps, so go wherever and earn your spot. Look at Bo Nix career. Guy transfers and by senior year is a Heisman candidate

I’m on the fence about the new transfer rules. It’s hard to assess an athlete when he doesn’t have to compete for his job. If Archie can’t win the starting QB job there’s a reason why. Joe Burrow is one of the few who got to showcase himself with the season he put together. Most transfers end up like DJ Uiagalelei or Spencer Rattler.

Better stay for now...
But come on home when Nussmeier leaves...

You obviously don’t know about Malachi Nelson, Mike. USC doesn’t need a quarterback.
I like the Seahawks cheerleaders dance moves in the intro
If arch manning can read defences like Peyton manning or Eli hes going to be a dangerous QB
Nico Iamaleava is the next superstar QB in college
Mike, you should definitely do more College football content. Enjoyed this since I am a fan of UT. 🤘😁🤘
Tennessee is the real UT
LSU actually plays good teams unlike USC and probably even texas and with the wide receivers they have he would fit right in perfectly
LSU receivers are going to NFL!
Do they really keep comparing this many QBs to Mahomes? Even at an amateur level this seems to be a tired comparison.
Yes they are and it’s tiresome. Everyone wants a flashy player instead of one that’s pro ready and has his fundamentals down
I really like your take on this situation ! I am a Bama fan and my wife and I have watched Bryce Young suffer through his rookie season. I agree with your assessment of what has happened to Bryce this season. However the NFL , unlike the College ranks where you enter the transfer portal and go to another school, you are under contract to stick out for whatever the contract conditions where. I am pretty sure Arch's family is helping him with his decisions, who would know better then them! I believe Brian Kelly would love to have Arch on his team. We will see ,who know Ewers could get hurt next season ,we would hope not but football is a brutal sport and the players are an eye lash away from injury.
Couldn't agree more!!! Nicely said!
Arch should stay at Texas and take his time it'll pay off for him
How so? He gets drafted regardless of where he plays. What does Texas bring to the table that he can't find elsewhere?
Take his time? Last name like Manning means you play now. Overall he should get drafted but he needs some exposure.
@@zacharyrogerssr9331 Literally the biggest $$ school in the entire SEC next year.
@@gkelly650 “Eli had what I think is the best course. He redshirt his first year, was a backup in his second year, and then started in his third year. I think it’s a big jump.” -Archie Manning (Arch's Granddad)
Most kids don't have the patience..microwave generation
I think it would benefit him Arch Manning more to transfer to a college like USC who has a track record of being a QB Guru!
Love your video Mike and keep up the great work
Yo no disrespect but you're off line here just like everyone else who are thinking Arch might transfer.....I can tell you people don't follow UT football. If anyone transfers it will be Malik Murphy. Which will in turn make Arch the backup next year heading into the SEC. Arch had a hand in recruiting some of the commits to UT so I highly doubt he's going anywhere. This is just a bunch of smoke with no fire.
Oh! Man if comes to USC that would be dream come true, go SC...
The manning family is like mafia family of sports
Arch will benefit from the bench next year. He’s not ready- looked over his head in exhibition and needs to bulk up. The Mannings are loyal and not opportunists- they won’t chase a starting role.
As money is no issue, I agree, Arch should enjoy his college and play college football when it’s his time. What’s the rush?
Caleb Williams is the second coming of Jackson Mahomes.
HIs best choices I think are UT, UA (Alabama), or LSU.
Arch is currently #3 on the depth chart behind Freshman Maalik Murphy. If Ewers comes back he will still be #3 behind Murphy. Can you imagine what the drive by sports media would do to Sark if he put Manning ahead of Murphy who has already shown he is a better QB? the Manning family would be putting tons of pressure on Sark. I say he moves to USC.
Lol...Arch isn't going to that dumpster fire in California..
You’re calling Lincoln riley a dumpster fire?…. You don’t know the diffrence btw a good coach with a damn good football program that produces… star heisman winning quarterbacks!! You probablly go around starting dumpster fires!
@@victorjohnson3491 yeah but doesn’t have a good defense to help that star qb
@victorjohnson3491 seriously..you really think he is gonna leave Texas for Usc...With the way Sark is recruiting weapons to put around him??Pipe dream..bro..Maybe Maalik but not Arch..You guys were supposed to be elite this year..Texas is elite this year....
@@adryellehastings4675 ….. I really could careless where arch goes….. he won’t make or break USC…… they always land excellent QB’s top notch…… arch can stay at Texas he won’t be missed….. trust and believe that! It will be his choice anyway……. And my Trojans will be much better next year as well!!#cali all day😏💯
Riley didn't recruit Baker or Murry who both came to Oklahoma on their own. He did recruit Rattler and we see how that has gone. Riley was a great play caller before he became head coach but he has NEVER done both really well. As far as him being some qb whisperer he was just in the right place at the right time. His time as SC won't be long because he is not a great HC. It take coaches 5 years to get their team in place and his 5th year at Oklahoma was a disaster as will his 5th year at SC.
there was no decision made. you got me once.
Dude no rush. Keep studying by his sophomore year he will be untouchable. Declare after his junior year or stay he would be the best quarterback in the country with ease.
Exactly!
I was surprised he initially chose Texas. Not exactly a QB pipeline and Ewers was already there. I'm a Buckeye, so would advocate for him to team up with Ryan Day and get good prep for the NFL.
Actually, Ewers was at OSU at the time, riding the bench. He later entered the portal to come to Texas.
Sarkisian has a pretty good reputation as a college offensive coordinator, head coach, and also in the pros.
He probably saw all the NFL QBs Sark has put in the league. Pretty easy choice
@@TheoSprinkles Yep, plus he likes the school and Austin. Not a northern guy.
lmao go to ohio state and be ashamed
Regardless of the situation, playing football will allow you to grow greater in its capacity than simply just practicing. The only advantage to being a back up is learning all of the backend intricacies of football which, unfortunately if you’re a full-time starter in high school a lot of times you don’t get any of that knowledge so it’s a double edge sword it always comes down to what the kid ones but I would always recommend playing over not playing.
Arch to be drafted by the Panthers, post Bryce Experiment.
Not if the Mannings have anything to do with it!
RG three had his career ended in his first year on a play that he shouldn’t even been in on
Whomever ends up with Arch isn't going to be too pleased! He's a true 3 star QB if you don't hear his last name. He should stay at Texas a grow. He doesn't need the type of pressure these other schools will require from him as a starter.
I mean I would def be sitting on that NIL deal while being a redshirt freshman any day 💪🏾🤓
Listen to your uncles, they have the "in" on the game and the inside info. This kid need reps, so go wherever and earn your spot. Look at Bo Nix career. Guy transfers and by senior year is a Heisman candidate
For him to stay or go, I think he's looking at a win, win situation either way.
Lincoln Riley is synonymous with Zero Defense so Manning would have to get use to losing
This manning kid could turn out to be a bust where ever he goes……. None of you fools don’t know how his parents path will end up……. Being a manning is not that guaranteed in football!!
Mike, How did you not point out Maalik Murphy for at least one second? His biceps alone are bigger than the total size of all the other Qbs combined 🤯🤯🤯
Maalik Murphy sucks saw him vs K state
Well, as a USC guy I'd love the transfer
I see comments about ole miss, likely because of the Lane Train… welp, Kiffin’s gonna get That TAMU gig. That’s too much cash to pass up
Arch has time let him absorb all he can.
Dropped a like. Comment. Already subscribed. Let’s get on in this collage football
As an LSU fan I would love for Manning to go to LSU!
4:54 because tomorrow is promised to no one?
As a Texas fan please don’t transfer I don’t wanna watch us be good for only a year or two
I would like to see Arch Manning at Ole Miss under coach Lane Kiffin...a very keen offensive mind and a QB whisperer...Plus...his grandfather and uncle thrived there...
His dad graduated from there and was on the team there before his stenosis diagnosis. I made a rhyme.
He's a Traitor like his uncle!
Being selfish here but I would love to see him at Penn State. They have talent at the skill positions and should still have a solid offensive line.
Eli was on the bench for two years and that’s what Archie wanted. He was throwing circles around the starting QB and was the better QB too by his second year.
If he leaves Texas, he will play in the SEC.
Texas will be in the SEC.
Arch is gonna be too hyped up.
Arch gonna be the 1st player to go #1 overall in. The draft and not take a college snap 😂
Arch 100% should transfer
As a human I hope the best for his recovery
Media trying so hard to get Arch out of Texas " can't make this shii up 🤣🤦
That background music was like fingernails on a chalkboard.
I seen the title and had to watch it I am a huge manning fan
