My journey went like this, when I was young I put women on an altar and worshiped her. Then I realised how very flawed they are, a false goddess. As I matured I gained the power within and became comfortable with being the stronger character that women will admire me.

Okay. What happens if a man is a nice guy, but is not overly confident, charismatic or dominant? Is he destined to be a monk? Or maybe he should instead wait until women mellow out and drop their egos (usu. sometime after age 50)? I'm 52m and never married. I think the latter is going to be my strategy. Personally, I think the "prerequisites" to be competitive in today's dating market are absurd and driven chiefly by superficiality heavily influenced by social media "influencers" coupled with reality TV. I'm out of the "starting a family phase" due to age, but the sad reality is that many younger people (both men *and* women) will likely never have the opportunity to marry or start families because of what is going on today.
My only, older dude advice is to go places where there are women somewhat interested in YOU. Sometimes there are none, so you must find a place. Have a good time and don't start anything at first. Be there for one you really like and one that likes you back when that happens (evidence, not imagination).

Competence is earned by doing hard things. Complete a tutorial instead of playing video games. Make something instead of watching a video. Cook healthy food instead of eating pre-made junk. Lift something heavy and make your muscles hurt. These things will make you competent. Once you're competent, confidence will come much more naturally.

If you're easily persuaded by a woman doesn't necessarily mean you will be easily persuaded by everyone. Why do women always make up negative assumptions about a man.
Confidence comes from competence. Practice, develop skills, do the work. Then the confidence will be genuine and you won't have to fake it. The best way to is to build up slowly. If you have low confidence, start small and gradually build up your competence and the confidence will start to grow. It's like building muscle.
Good point, faking confidence and delusional are both unattractive. Being truly confident based on a realistic view of your own competence is what we all should be aiming for.
This is very true, after my relationship was over 2 years ago I decided to focus on my self and my goals, also started going to the gym to be a better version of me and have noticed a big difference!
