When I told my oncologist that I was not going to do "His Protocol" and that I was going to continue doing Keto/Carnivore, he turned into Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and yelled at me, "THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THAT IS GOING TO WORK!!!" My husband and I looked at each other and KNEW that is what we needed to do. That has been 7 years ago, and I have not looked back. I did get a nasty letter from him shortly after that. My sister survived stage 4 terminal ovarian cancer. It was inoperable and had metastisised to her lungs. She became aware that it was a metabolic disease and evolved a protocol that killed all trace of cancer. That was: 1 strict keto diet - absolutely no carbs. 2 Fungal extracts (Ganoderma lucidum, Trametes versicolor, Cordyceps sinensis), 3. Turmeric, and 4. a Chinese herb Astragalus membranaceus. 5. She took plentry of fresh air walking her dog and 6. got access to a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Cancer cells cannot stand a high oxygen level as it produces highly reactive oxygen species which literally burns them. (That is why Cordyceps is in the protocol because it assists in the uptake of oxygen by cells. This is good for healthy cells but disasterous for cancer cells). She has now been cancer free for four years, has lost a good deal of weight healthily and is now a singer in a rock band.

I am a 23 year cancer survivor and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when I was 9 years old. For 23 years, I've suffered GI issues, cardiac concerns, cataracts, chronic back pain, and developed a learning disability. I'm in my 30s and was told my health is the same as someone in their 40s. He's absolutely right! I survived the illness and I'm super thankful for that but I've had so many other health issues because of it and there's nothing anyone can do. After doing carnivore, I not only lost weight (which is great!) but I also noticed that my GI issues and back pain have almost disappeared completely.

Self-diagnosed with severe brain fog and memory issues due to all the horrible medications. Doctors don’t recognize these things. I can see why you said you had a learning disability. I definitely felt handicapped/disabled. Been on carnivore for 1 1/2 years and keeps getting better. This made me think about fast growing tumours. As a nurse in the early 80’s I cared for elderly ladies, many of which had visable breast tumours. They had obviously had these for many decades and had never been treated and yet this isn’t what they were dying from(they were in their 80-90s) They lived through an era of moderate portions and low sugar consumption and little to no processed food. Many said they knew there was a lump 40 years or more ago but it didn’t bother them so they ignored it. Very slow growing. Now in hospital related to old age/mobility issues etc. we would give glucose intravenously to hydrate and add medication to (D5W) and these tumours aggressively started growing, needing dressings and treatments.

I am recently widowed and suffer from TBI, so it’s very difficult. But for the good doctors I find online when I can get on the internet, I don’t know what I would do. Hopefully, there any oncologists that promote carnivore as the ideal prevention or parasitic medicines? My brother died 2022 of super aggressive cancer. We bought him everything for the “fenben”protocol but he just couldn’t handle getting on board and trusted SAT (standard American treatment) instead. I was with him until his last breath, and still traumatized. My son had stem cell transplant in 2000; talk about trauma all the way around-horrible. He died in 2020 due to the organ destroying treatments. My mom died 2022 after SAT for Covid killed her; I was caring for her 24/7. These SAT’s are barbaric and so harmful. Thank God for this doc that uses his own critical thinking and the wisdom how to use it all.

My psychiatrist, who treats his epileptic parents by putting them on a meat based- low carb diet (10 carbs/day) successfully controls their seizures by lowering their brain inflammation. I see him for medication management, antidepressants that I've been on for two decades. He never once said I could get rid of depression by eating a low carb, high meat based diet. He kept refilling my psych meds, and I was still depressed. I found Dr Ken Berry a year ago by "accident." I was so metabolically sick from eating an organic plant based diet for decades that I barely had strength to get out of bed and move across the room. By listening to Dr Berry, I realized, suddenly that the cause of my depression was inflammation in my brain, caused by eating an inflammatory plant based diet my entire life. The next day after seeing his Livestream, I went 100% carnivore .Two months later I woke up and I wasn't depressed. That's a miracle. I'm now weaning off these psych meds that never worked for 3 decades. The reason my psychiatrist didn't tell me low carb eating would cure my depression? Because he is a drug pusher. His job is to keep the pharmaceutical companies happy. That is criminal. I feel so sorry for his patients who are suffering with depression and TAKING psych meds, when they could be healed by eating a low carb high meat based diet. BTW he IS in support of me continuing to eat low carb, high protein. I intended to continue to eat a meat based, no carb diet regardless of what he thought about it.

Hi, I had Lupus, RA,and mixed connective tissue disorder. I was on high dose Prednisone for years because I couldn't function without it! I started Carnivore a year ago and I'm now off ALL meds! I lost 47lbs and I feel better now at 50 then I did at 20! The doctors all told me diet doesn't matter this is the rest of your life! I didn't believe them! I do the strict version of Carnivore. I do the lion diet. I only eat Ribeye for every meal! But it's totally worth not being so sick anymore. I was ready to die a year ago! Please try, it will change your life! You just have to change your mind around eating. We eat for survival not so much pleasure. It's our medicine ! Good luck to you! ❤

I'm 74, have seen friends pass on over the years.
First, the fatties dropped (there are few living, but miserable exceptions). After them, the party animals left this plain of existence. Now, cancer is picking them off one by one.
Most recently, a friend who was a marathon runner. He ate ovo-lacto vegetarian, occassional meat.
Me? I'm genetically predisposed to diabetes. My numbers have always been high. I drank, but ate tons of carbos. Being an avid cyclist, I was told carbos were the best fuel. I ate oatmeal with fruit for breakfast, daily, for decades.
I'm now eating about 50% carnivore. My LDL is "high" and my doc's are freaking out. I got sent in for all kinds of scans and tests. Of course, I was prescribed statins, and refused. They were all shocked that I'd do that. All my arteries are clear, no plaque, no build-up.
I'm getting better medical advice from RUclips than from the medical "industry," that hates profits walking away, not following "orders."
Here on RUclips I learned that "high" cholesterol was once 300. Statins were introduced, it was lowered to 230, then 200.
Presently, I am managing a diabetic neuropathy, thanks to YT (The Nerve Doctors). At one time I couldn't wear shoes. Now I can, all day, every day.
I love this video. I've always suspected I would come across this information in regard to cancer... If only my gal would give up carbos. She just cannot do carn... so my place always has carbos (and she the body of a carb addict). I'm like an alcoholic in a liquor store. I can't resist.
I've a friend with cancer. I'll send this to her... I'm not sure she'd get the science, but I honor her highly. Will see.

I don’t think I’ll be strict carnivore because I do think that it’s important to have some variety where you just can’t stick to anything. All my life I watched my diet based only on fresh, cooked from the scratch foods, last 6 years carnivore and fasting for 22 hours, (from time to time I cheat in a very small way). She developed horrendous sores in her mouth, which the doctor ignored in order to kill the tumors. The chemo wasn't only affecting her mouth cells but it was killing cells in her gut. She eventually developed a fistula, which is a hole in her intestines and her bladder. Poop was coming out of her vagina. The doctor said she needed surgery, which ended up as an ostomy. My sister lived about 6 more months and it was a horrible end of life.

PSA has been 0.04-0.06 for the last two years so they did get my PSA down unfortunately the treatment comes with serious side effects including, sweats every three hours therefore sleep deprivation, muscle aches, loss of energy, bone degeneration and loss of memory. There are others as well. In March I told my oncologist that I was going to stop the meds for a while to see how it goes. she basically said I was mad. Three months on I feel much better still have the effects of the meds but much less. My PSA remained at 0.06 when last checked in May. I had cut out sugar unless it was natural from fruit e.g. apples. strawberries, blueberries, kiwi fruit etc. Also eating eggs, cheese and meat. Going back to see the doctor in August. I had stage 4 end stage cancer. As long as there's still a potential for cancer to return, get a Keto Mojo blood meter and check your GKI. It needs to stay at level 4 or lower. It doesn't matter if you're eating fruits with natural sugar versus processed food with added sugar. If the food spikes your blood glucose and the ketone level is low, the cancer can and will return.
I know. It happened to me so I'm being strict on my diet with minor cheats. I monitor my glucose and ketone levels with the Keto Mojo. Anyway, I should have been dead already according to my conventional oncologist. He said I was a miracle. I was on a healthy version of the ketogenic diet. That helped with my recovery from stage 4.

I took my wife to Virginia Mason in Seattle. When they told her how surprised they were at her condition, she told them the diet I put her on. They said NO! You need to eat whatever you want to put on weight. So Taco Bell every day, with a large orange soda. Cancer spread from breast to lungs, to brain, etc. At the last moments, she asked me to take her to a naturopath, who said cancer feeds on sugar. The $40,000,000 lawsuit was lost, simply by proving that the cancer was resistant to chemo. She died on March 1st, 1999. I am now 52.

A medical and nursing school education is the basics. It's up to medical providers to be curious and keep studying on your own. But instead there's a heavy reliance on drug reps to bring info but that's pivot info and studies they want you to see and it's for a drug. There many non drug interventions that will help patients but the drug rep isn't bringing those. The medical conferences won't tell you either unless it's integrative or functional medicine. The professional medical journals and conferences are ALL funded by big pharma. There's no money in lifestyle interventions. It hurts all the big players, big pharma, big food, medical equipment, devices, hospice, surgeons, testing etc and government employees at NIH, CDC AND FDA who are getting money from big pharma.

The following natural compounds can inhibit the use of glutamine as a fuel by cancer cells : curcumin, EGCG, berberine, quercetin and resveratrol. They do so in different ways so could be more effective stacked. They also exert other benefits such as down regulation of angiogenesis and inflammation. Berberine also can act rather like metformin.
Combine these (~1g of each / day) with no carb diet in a two hour feed window with some longer fasts is what I would do.

Neither. I do take some of these for other reasons of good health. Regarding cancer, I expect these to work better than DON because they have multiple actions and in multiple pathways. Seems to me that DON is an unnecessary distraction but exists to make money. Regarding prevention, by all means use these at standard doses, and take vitamins C and D, make sure to get enough omega-3 oils and limit carbs, plus time-restricted eating. If I had cancer : it it was early stage I would do just this; if later stage, any surgery if possible and then combine with chemotherapy, choosing the least toxic agent so as not to end up dying from liver or kidney failure.@@justinstimpson
