Not worried tho . 😅They will fix this . This was the EXACT thing Happened to U8G release . They fixed that quick tho that year . By the time I bought the U8G firmware was out . 😊
The main issue you have with Hisense is reliability. On paper, this looks like a no brainer until you drop 1100.00 on a 65” that is broken in 12 months. I’ll say this, when i was looking at the U8N at Best Buy, the salesman said he’d “rather have a budget Samsung than a high end Hisense.”
🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️ppl Accuse Quatum tv 📺 as Hisense fan. He was d Original one 1️⃣ ripping into Hisense flagship H9G , U8G etc about heir Image issues . Prob Sped UP the Brand Update . By the time I bought the 2020 H9G the firmware update was out 1 month ahead. 😊
I bought and currently own the 75U8N (2000USD.... yikes) and I have to say I agree with you. I really didn't know that the 55 inch would be this big of a difference in cost cutting. If they made the 55 this bad they shouldn't have made it at all. They should have just stuck with the larger sizes, or at least been more forthcoming with how they presented the 55 inch version. In another video I prematurely called you out for the stand because I was even under the impression that the 55 would share the same center stand as the 65 and 75 without researching, but it seems like this 55 is just a whole different model with the same "U8N" name but without any of the performance that was marketed. Not to say I regret my purchase, because the picture quality, motion handling, and AI feature are amazing, but to be truthful its a bit scummy to see Hisense start doing this sort of mis-marketing. (also, I dirty deleted my comment on your other video because I realized I was flat-out wrong and didn't want to potentially drive people to agreeing with my wrongness)
I watched a review for the 55 inch u7n last night. Hisense claims 1500 nits, and the reviewer got 2100 nits. You ever considered you just got a bad unit? I also saw one for the 65 u8n, and they got over 3500 nits. A lot of the issues you found with this unit, they didn’t have, so idk.
Any chance you can show an example posterazation with footage from any of the playoff hockey games thats on tv every night. I haven't watched all of the videos you have posted on this year's U8N, but the ones I have watched you only show examples of posteurization with anime and cartoons. I'd like to see if the U8N panel still does it with regular content like sports or movies (not animated ones please)
I’m really disappointed that the U8N is such a step down in the 55” size. I’m needing to get a new tv for my bedroom soon and I was hoping it would be this one. I’ve had a U8G 65” in my living room for a few years and mine has been great. With Hisense really falling out with the 55” will you give us an update where that leaves the more value for dollar market. The TCL QM8 only comes in 65” or larger the QM7 comes in 55” but I’m not sure if the U8N would still beat it I saw a 55 QM7 in store and motion looked really bad on it
TO EVERYONE that accuses Q to be a Hisense fanboy, this proves he’s only a fanboy of THE TRUTH! Q, you are the best, thank you!

This video should be named 55U8N review because none of this ranting apply to the 75U8N that I own!
This is such a disappointment for Hisense. It was one of my finalists, but after this I just bought a 48” LG C3. Better quality and saved money.

Still watching my h9f almost 5 years later🎉
Digital trends just tested the 65 inch and it registered 3500 nits
That’s disappointing from Hisense. I’ve purchased the last three 8 models. I won’t be this year. Thank you for the honest review.

Is it possible that this sample has a factory error, that not all 55" are this bad?
When you say downgrade , do you mean that the last year u8k doesn't have this issue ?
Amazing review. I've learned so much from following you for 2 years💯

My H9G from 2020 still works like a champ.
So wait, are the bigger ones better?
