When you were bukkake’ing the one side of the V-Dub with GS out of the mini, I was surprised at how well the grime melted with each squirt. Especially at a 1:10 dilution. Well played German’s.
Green star is great but multi-star is even better for pre-washing. You can use multi-star @30:1 and get the same results as gs 10:1. It foams better too and is more concentrated 😎👍
@@laurapalmerTDGE no you don’t NEED foam to clean. However…it does allow for more dwell time thus a better result in the end in most cases. I’ve used both and while green star is a fantastic cleaner I personally prefer multi-star for its concentration and foaming ability. To each their own. Use whatever product you prefer.👍
Honestly, just look for a different product that is pH neutral. This product is alkaline for a reason, to help clean and breakdown dirt and grime. My simple understanding of pH is its logarithmic scale, so 1 pH change is a 10x shift in acidity (H+ concentration) or alkaline (OH- concentration), depending on direction. E.g. diluting it 1 : 100 would roughly give a pH of 10. To move from pH 12 to neutral (lets say pH 7), you would need to dilute this product 10^5 times. At these dilutions though, while you've reduced the pH, the cleaning + foaming agents are soo diluted you're essentially spraying water. This is why there are cleaning products that are already pH neutral (this is all obviously simple assumptions and doesn't get into the nitty gritty chemistry of how each chemical and its formulation responds to dilution in water, of which I do not understand)
Great comparison! Can’t beat the versatility of foaming GS in an IK Foamer!
Works so well
Great idea on using Gs! Great product and so many uses and dilutions for it.
Heck ya Fred!
That's a dirty hatch! Thanks for the shoutout buddy!
Great video!!!! I love Green Star! Even though I appreciate trying new chemicals …GS is my absolute tried and true go to !
So so good
GREEN STAR ⭐️ FOR THE WIN 🥇
Let’s go
Thanks for showing the Green ⭐️ power ! Ur right foam is just good fun!! Great video 💪
Great comparison! The tailgate pretty dirty. Yes foaming is more fun. Nice job. Great time lapse photography
Thanks man been looking for a foam versus spray review for a while.
You are a very approachable guy. New follower here and I really liked this video. Great!
@@griffithbowen4590 appreciate that
SuperFoam is another great pre-foaming treatment for dirty cars. Followed up by a pH neutral contact wash.

Good stuff Alex huge fan of GS.

Per definition you don't need foam. You need a lather that sticks to the paint.
Use a Marolex for example, a 5 liter pump sprayer.

Great comparison Alex. GS going to work!
How can it be diluted down to a PH neutral? To not affect coatings or sealants?

wassup Alex cool video
Tell me something,is it normal not to feel The smell if you do it directly from the bottle,i order it from Amazon and i just dont feel nothing...
Great comparison!!! Can you use GS undiluted with the IK Foam pro 2? Or would it be too strong?
In the foam pro 2, it would be a little too strong and an expensive foam show. 10:1 or 15:1 is plenty
You should try KC MSN it works better just need to be extra careful.
Can Green Star be used, properly diluted, on glass?
@@Mike-ny5fm I would dilute it about 20:1 and rinse well
What dilution ratio would you use in a foam cannon since the pressure washer adds water into it while it’s coming out?
@@Carruthers84 probably do 30ml to 970 ml of water in a 1L cannon
Does 10:1 ratio strip waxes from paint?
Is green start 10:1 dilution good for coated surfaces? As far as the PH and eating at the coating ?
@@TheMercadoChannel shouldn't harm the coating. 15:1 should be very effective also
Using an APC as a pre wash can remove sealants or waxes?
It can. Depending on the sealant.
Prerinse didn’t work, the license plate is fuzzy!
That’s right.

LOL 😂😂
what diloution was used for the ik 360 sprayer?
I believe 10:1
What kind of pressure washer are you using?
