For those attempting this, don’t do it in the cold as plastic gets really brittle. A way to prevent this from happening is to just lightly pry all ends and pull the driver side out towards you, then slowly pull the passenger side out.
@PetrolJuice it was. I live in Oklahoma and I don't have to worry about emissions or sound control. So I am fully setting up my car. By the time I'm done I'm hoping for about 350hp. I'll be getting it dynod in a few months. I'll let you know.
@@joeymasterson4395 I haven’t made a video on his specific one, but I do have a video on my open intake on my channel. There’s very subtle power difference, if anything, it’ll be the slightest better throttle response. Although, you will get better throttle response with either one over the stock intake
@ my bad haha again thank you for posting these videos! Honestly this is the page I refer to when doing things like this so us inpatient people who hate reading really love this !
the fear in josh's voice when it squirted everywhere hahahaha
@@taylorgerrish7264 I had to include it in the video 🤣
Sir Petrol Juice always delivers 🫡
Thank you sir!
Ah that’s what that is, I noticed the sports mode was louder but didn’t realize it was this
@@SmokieTRW yup! Most manufacturers do this now. I’m not the biggest fan of it in most cars but I personally think it sounds good on the forte!
Saving this job for march may June 😂
It’s definitely WAY too cold out I struggled a bit 😂

I did this and kept it off for almost a year but I got bored of the engine noise and I reattached it😂
@@Kai-JH I figured I would miss the sound too so I haven’t done it to my car yet😅
I like his intake. Is there a video about that one? And which one adds more power? Your open top one, or his closed one?

What year is that? Isn't there a setting now?
@@tribefan75 2023, unfortunately not. Only in the Elantra N
I'm gonna delete the stupid engine speaker
Is it big difference versus leaving it on. ?
Yes, you hear pure engine noise in sport mode
@@davidcoatessr4597 yes, very noticeable difference! A lot more quiet in the cabin
Does it make a huge difference ?
@@whatsittoya223 it’s definitely a noticeable difference! A lot less quiet in sport mode since no fake audio is being pumped into the cabin
How come you connected your hose back to the intake?
Oh nvm that’s not your car lol my bad
Lol yup, we installed the bov on his car so no need for the BPV delete :D
