I would've supported the ban if they did it propperly. Giving a notice to Roblox in advance with a time limit and demands, not pulling the plug then coming up with excuses.
As someone who plays roblox, it is becoming my pet peeve that ill-intentioned people use public ugc for bypassing inappropriate content such as the chest accessories, and such. While majority of us normal players get tagged/censored for saying the most harmless stuff. Plus the fact that a ugc creator name "Polar Club" got her avatar bundle of a teddy bear (key word: TEDDY BEAR) removed for "inappropriate content", which was appealed recently. Moreover, I also remembered a star creator published a heavily implied nsfw milk stand that was still part of the star program despite the backlash.
Something I noticed on the sidelines while not directly participating in Roblox. I start seeing a pattern with creators and the like copying from the IMVU platform in terms of character assets and models. And I had a sinking feeling it would get worst. IMVU also has it's seedy rooms and raunchy character assets/items. But at least with IMVU it's under no illusion of being marketed for children.
Amazing video, I’m so glad I discovered your channel. I have been playing roblox for nearly 7 years and the moderation has only gotten worse, never have I seen one of my probably thousands of reports do anything and have been told off for reporting too often. I’ve seen creators back off roblox due to the fact they do not care, roblox is overrun with hate speech and condo games but it’s not the mods fault, they keep adding more to the game that makes moderation more difficult yet barely hire more mods.
I just dont want this platform to die because this place is literally an awesome place, you get many good games on here that are actually amazing and people who are amazing too. You sometimes get people actually making amazing stuff, however since roblox doesnt know how to run itself anymore its eventually going to die because awful people are using that loophole to this very day. If the platform dies then all the legitimately amazing things people have taken time on making will all be destroyed which is horrible to think about. The only solution is to get roblox into better hands as fast as possible.

After rewinding a couple times I cant say whether he is mocking him or not but the way he said it and the way his body language, I would say there is probably a chance that he is mocking him
I hate the fact that Roblox advertises bathroom games, which are usually inappropriate. My 10 yo cousin sent me a screenshot of the game being recommended to her and what ppl were doing and saying when she joined. Roblox went from a kid's game to a gr*oming game. I've been playing since 2020 and fortunately, I've never met a predator. But my cousins and many other kids weren't so fortunate.

I am someone who has been in the Roblox Community for about 6 years before quitting in 2024, and now rarely play it nowadays. To make all the points long and short, I was expoded to Roblox NSFW at a young age, and spiraled to me having a general P^rn addiction and also generally ruining my life. It's how I have obtained my potential hypersexuality, (not diagnosed yet but im pretty sure I have it) and how I went in a dark path of playing Simulators to pass the time, which made me basically have about 2 years taken from my life, with 2023 finally being the breaking point. I am still recovering and struggling to do so, but it really shows you how bad it is to be thrusted into an addiction which overall significantly affected my life and otherwise I probably would've not been as far behind on my mental health as I am at the moment. I do have one thing to say and it's that Rubin Sim (the guy in the video) is a bit of an asshole and can't be trusted with everything. He did do good back when the lawsuit happened but nowadays he's just not a very good guy. But overall excellent video and I hope the kids on Roblox have it better than me. Of course there was more I could say since Roblox wasn't the only thing that made me struggle in life for about 3 years, but overall I am finally recovering and I think the worst years of me as a person overall and my mental state overall is past me.

After seeing the community post it was obvious that the video was going to be be about the predator problem. The points made in the video are very correct. Though, another major problem linked to roblox's seggs problem are the moderators, that are few and with some accepting inappropriate content on the platform in relation to their personnal preferences( for example, the massive amounts of furry content being the most prominent). The video was great but i was slightly disappointed of your analysis not including the fact that roblox profits off of condo games and anything associated (just overviewing/implying it ). Overall very well edited and built video. Ps: a bit nit picking but i personally thought that the time line of the history of rblx had a big disassociated gap in it from 2013-15 to modern rblx. I know this was to keep the video compact and with the least amount of bloat but it's what i felt.

It's truly a tragic story, I truly believe that Erik was Roblox. David was only a shadow of Roblox. I first came to Roblox when I was 13 years old back in 2016 with my first account. I still have my fun. However, I also saw some of those people lurking in the shadows good thing that I didn't bother to come close until unfortunately years later. I was at some of my lowest because of personal reasons. Then that's when I met the person who I regret ever meeting, they were very manipulative and calculative, especially with my emotions turning me into somebody else and broken me. In the end, my friend saved me from it, and ever since I kept my guard up just in case. Those people are still out there.

I have played roblox since ~2010. As I am much older and out of the target demographic im shifting away, only having stayed so long because of long term friends I met but its ridiculous. The censorship is atrocious and doesn't even work unless its censoring very tame and normal words or phrases. Now, out of nowhere the censorship became laid back in some of the things that DO get by and it is mind boggling. That's only 1/1000th of the problems... -churning copy paste games -more or less exploiting the developers -growing too much allowing for more inappropriate content to slip through (the shirt catalogue as example, only a matter of time before UGC is the same) -monetization everywhere -Trade(they harrased and im pretty sure doxed a kid because of a 1 of a kind hat item he had) -gambling games -everything in this video tbh Targeted for kids, anything but.
Tell me about it, one time trying to type "Of course" got censored but the weirdo "sigma alpha males" [read "middle school boys"] can say sexist things without getting a single hashtag.
Most of the kids that have played Roblox in the past are now young teens, and they become dirty minded, make inappropriate games, and avatars but it's mostly little kids that influence NSFW 18+ content/games as well not just older players, although Roblox hasn't been moderating these bypasses very well.
I've been playing Roblox since 2017 and there's definitely been a worrying amount of times where I've seen players, including minors, acting inappropriately in regular innocent roleplaying games. I've seen so many cases of such grooming and of adults online dating minors and it's concerning. It's been made even worse with voice chat because you have kids full on acting out EXTREMELY inappropriate scenes with nothing stopping them because voice chat moderation is solely based on an AI detection of whether or not the player is swearing or threatening another player, which doesn't even work correctly half the time. Yes the audio is supposedly recorded by Roblox but it's almost never moderated.
I just hate how some people can just publish "women chest" "hot girl" "woman 1.0" "furry" stuff on Roblox and roblox isn't doing anything about it, why don't Roblox check the marketplace log everyday and remove all ADULT things, its supposed to be block game. Why would u need those in children game? Cuz i know some lf you say "thats just anatomy" sometimes i just regret experiencing roblox. but there's good side which i always look up to. Like crazy funny items, games, players. Lots of players ive met have good rumor but people that are just toxic and pe*o aren't any less from that.

I have been playing ROBLOX since 2011, it is a game I’ve managed to gain multiple friendships from, let alone friendships that have lasted years. It breaks my heart knowing the direction it has been going; the “r6 chest” ugcs and those really weird t-shirts to the underground condo games, it really makes me feel sick to my stomach. Since Erik’s passing, ROBLOX has pretty much always had this predator and NSFW problem. I’ve been in paper roleplay games where you can choose whatever decal you want. There would be occasional weirdos who make their morphs NSFW or even NSFL decals and wander around and get in front of people just to get a reaction out of them, most of which are minors. I’ve even gotten groomed without really knowing what is happening from a user on this platform. ROBLOX, wake up for once and see the way your platform has become. Thank you so much for this video.

I’ve been playing Roblox since 2013. I definitely will say that this is very much indeed a problem and it’s clear that the priority is completely some where else. I literally got banned for talking about a storm named Gay for 7 days yet we got creeps running around without any consequences until the community itself actually does something instead, but even then that sometimes doesn’t work either. I hope this blows up honestly because I hate seeing Roblox turn into this direction. I miss the old Roblox when it was actually more about safety and fun. Not a money hungry company that has little care for its community.

Ive personally never experienced this kind of thing in most roblox games. The games that allow people to show their own avatar and give much more freedom are likely to be effected the most. The games that roll out their own avatar options dont usually face these sexualised avatar problem
Once Roblox went to mobile it went to shit. I played back in 09 for like 4-5 years and I adored it. Recently I've started playing it again with my gf (a friend of hers told her to try Dress To Impress plus my own stories made her want to try) and my god it has changed. There are so so so many financially predatory games on there which are basically horrible cash grab mobile games and copies upon copies just like the app store. Most games seem to be company aka group made as opposed to 1 dev passion projects like the old days and they almost all want robux (for advantages not just cosmetics), have daily systems, and some even battle passes to make people spend money. As for predatory people they flock to games that have lots of talking time games like DTI, Scary Sushi, and CoD rip-offs to name a couple have almost no chill time since you will lose if you aren't actively playing it meanwhile all roleplaying games seem to have people acting/typing inappropriately :/ I had no clue Erik passed away rip 🙏 Never heard of Condo games 0_0 must have happened after I quit Ah so 2021 is when they went Public eish Seriously a dating app wtf! Also how on earth were they not profiting kids spend loads and loads on robux... What the 17+ crap? From what I heard there are barely any 17+ games and you have to prove your age with a pic of your id which I certainly wouldn't do. Awesome video, you discussed this very well. I believe this game does have A LOT to do with how newer generations act because they are just exposed to this shit at such a young age and no barrier. The moderation is just awful, it's gotten to the point even I've had people ask if I can try do something to help them, but I just couldn't, if the moderation doesn't work then every user on the site is stuck, it's a never ending loop and nobody can do anything to stop it, because the ones who can, won't.

Its so bad that theres groups full of thousands of them, and if you go to one account theres about 50 more, all spreading down a horrific network of rabbit holes. There's absolutely no way 1700 people can deal with that. It's an overwhelming amount, and its sad roblox has gone down this path.

I’ve seen creators back off roblox due to the fact they do not care, roblox is overrun with hate speech and condo games but it’s not the mods fault, they keep adding more to the game that makes moderation more difficult yet barely hire more mods.
I just dont want this platform to die because this place is literally an awesome place, you get many good games on here that are actually amazing and people who are amazing too. You sometimes get people actually making amazing stuff, however since roblox doesnt know how to run itself anymore its eventually going to die because awful people are using that loophole to this very day.
If the platform dies then all the legitimately amazing things people have taken time on making will all be destroyed which is horrible to think about.
The only solution is to get roblox into better hands as fast as possible.

You are not alone. I feel the same way about it. When I first saw it, I felt something was wrong with the way he spoke with his body language. After rewinding a couple times I cant say whether he is mocking him or not but the way he said it and the way his body language, I would say there is probably a chance that he is mocking him

I hate the fact that Roblox advertises bathroom games, which are usually inappropriate. My 10 yo cousin sent me a screenshot of the game being recommended to her and what ppl were doing and saying when she joined. Roblox went from a kid's game to a gr*oming game. I've been playing since 2020 and fortunately, I've never met a predator. But my cousins and many other kids weren't so fortunate.

I am someone who has been in the Roblox Community for about 6 years before quitting in 2024, and now rarely play it nowadays. To make all the points long and short, I was expoded to Roblox NSFW at a young age, and spiraled to me having a general P^rn addiction and also generally ruining my life. It's how I have obtained my potential hypersexuality, (not diagnosed yet but im pretty sure I have it) and how I went in a dark path of playing Simulators to pass the time, which made me basically have about 2 years taken from my life, with 2023 finally being the breaking point. I am still recovering and struggling to do so, but it really shows you how bad it is to be thrusted into an addiction which overall significantly affected my life and otherwise I probably would've not been as far behind on my mental health as I am at the moment. I do have one thing to say and it's that Rubin Sim (the guy in the video) is a bit of an asshole and can't be trusted with everything. He did do good back when the lawsuit happened but nowadays he's just not a very good guy. But overall excellent video and I hope the kids on Roblox have it better than me. Of course there was more I could say since Roblox wasn't the only thing that made me struggle in life for about 3 years, but overall I am finally recovering and I think the worst years of me as a person overall and my mental state overall is past me.

Toxicity usually comes from underage kids. Grooming comes from mature adults that are probably over 30 years old.
After seeing the community post it was obvious that the video was going to be be about the predator problem.
The points made in the video are very correct. Though, another major problem linked to roblox's seggs problem are the moderators, that are few and with some accepting inappropriate content on the platform in relation to their personnal preferences( for example, the massive amounts of furry content being the most prominent).
The video was great but i was slightly disappointed of your analysis not including the fact that roblox profits off of condo games and anything associated (just overviewing/implying it ). Overall very well edited and built video.
Ps: a bit nit picking but i personally thought that the time line of the history of rblx had a big disassociated gap in it from 2013-15 to modern rblx. I know this was to keep the video compact and with the least amount of bloat but it's what i felt.

It's truly a tragic story, I truly believe that Erik was Roblox. David was only a shadow of Roblox.
I first came to Roblox when I was 13 years old back in 2016 with my first account. I still have my fun. However, I also saw some of those people lurking in the shadows good thing that I didn't bother to come close until unfortunately years later.
I was at some of my lowest because of personal reasons. Then that's when I met the person who I regret ever meeting, they were very manipulative and calculative, especially with my emotions turning me into somebody else and broken me.
In the end, my friend saved me from it, and ever since I kept my guard up just in case. Those people are still out there.

I have played roblox since ~2010. As I am much older and out of the target demographic im shifting away, only having stayed so long because of long term friends I met but its ridiculous. The censorship is atrocious and doesn't even work unless its censoring very tame and normal words or phrases. Now, out of nowhere the censorship became laid back in some of the things that DO get by and it is mind boggling. That's only 1/1000th of the problems...

Most of the kids that have played Roblox in the past are now young teens, and they become dirty minded, make inappropriate games, and avatars but it's mostly little kids that influence NSFW 18+ content/games as well not just older players, although Roblox hasn't been moderating these bypasses very well.
I've been playing Roblox since 2017 and there's definitely been a worrying amount of times where I've seen players, including minors, acting inappropriately in regular innocent roleplaying games. I've seen so many cases of such grooming and of adults online dating minors and it's concerning. It's been made even worse with voice chat because you have kids full on acting out EXTREMELY inappropriate scenes with nothing stopping them because voice chat moderation is solely based on an AI detection of whether or not the player is swearing or threatening another player, which doesn't even work correctly half the time. Yes the audio is supposedly recorded by Roblox but it's almost never moderated.

I have been playing ROBLOX since 2011, it is a game I’ve managed to gain multiple friendships from, let alone friendships that have lasted years. It breaks my heart knowing the direction it has been going; the “r6 chest” ugcs and those really weird t-shirts to the underground condo games, it really makes me feel sick to my stomach.
Since Erik’s passing, ROBLOX has pretty much always had this predator and NSFW problem. I’ve been in paper roleplay games where you can choose whatever decal you want. There would be occasional weirdos who make their morphs NSFW or even NSFL decals and wander around and get in front of people just to get a reaction out of them, most of which are minors. I’ve even gotten groomed without really knowing what is happening from a user on this platform.
ROBLOX, wake up for once and see the way your platform has become.

I’ve been playing Roblox since 2013. I definitely will say that this is very much indeed a problem and it’s clear that the priority is completely some where else. I literally got banned for talking about a storm named Gay for 7 days yet we got creeps running around without any consequences until the community itself actually does something instead, but even then that sometimes doesn’t work either.
I hope this blows up honestly because I hate seeing Roblox turn into this direction. I miss the old Roblox when it was actually more about safety and fun. Not a money hungry company that has little care for its community.

Ive personally never experienced this kind of thing in most roblox games. The games that allow people to show their own avatar and give much more freedom are likely to be effected the most. The games that roll out their own avatar options dont usually face these sexualised avatar problem
Once Roblox went to mobile it went to shit. I played back in 09 for like 4-5 years and I adored it. Recently I've started playing it again with my gf (a friend of hers told her to try Dress To Impress plus my own stories made her want to try) and my god it has changed. There are so so so many financially predatory games on there which are basically horrible cash grab mobile games and copies upon copies just like the app store. Most games seem to be company aka group made as opposed to 1 dev passion projects like the old days and they almost all want robux (for advantages not just cosmetics), have daily systems, and some even battle passes to make people spend money. As for predatory people they flock to games that have lots of talking time games like DTI, Scary Sushi, and CoD rip-offs to name a couple have almost no chill time since you will lose if you aren't actively playing it meanwhile all roleplaying games seem to have people acting/typing inappropriately :/

The moderation is just awful, it's gotten to the point even I've had people ask if I can try do something to help them, but I just couldn't, if the moderation doesn't work then every user on the site is stuck, it's a never ending loop and nobody can do anything to stop it, because the ones who can, won't.

Good vid you really showed how Roblox is getting werid now and how it needs to be solved.
I've gone and reported a ton of accounts that are blatantly used by sexual deviants or groomers, much to noones suprise, nothing happens. Its so bad that theres groups full of thousands of them, and if you go to one account theres about 50 more, all spreading down a horrific network of rabbit holes. There's absolutely no way 1700 people can deal with that. It's an overwhelming amount, and its sad roblox has gone down this path.
If Erik was REALLY still alive...he'd be mourning...like we all are :(
