@@BigAngryTrev1 What an awesome collection and a wholesome story! I started collecting in 2021. Bit of a latecomer, I was already 20 by the time I started, but I started dating (and then got engaged to) a massive Transformers fan, and he convinced me to buy a few figures. "A few figures" turned into a collection of, at present, about 400 figures. Nowhere near yours, of course, but we're having fun! I love the father/son moments you have, enjoying the hobby together. With a little one on the way right now, I hope we'll be able to get little Unicron Mitchell into the hobby as well one day. (We're not really naming him Unicron 😆)
Guy's got a supportive and caring wife, a son, a nice place AND a place where he can continue being happy with his passion. Bro is living the dream right there.
I have paused and rewound this so many times to make out some of the characters on those shelves. An amazing collection, and I love that he’s able to share that with his kid.
The Transformers cartoon was KING! Soundwave was my first real crush and the cartoon movie that eventually followed was so beloved. I showed it to my children when they were very young, and to this day my now 24 yo daughter is a Transformers fanatic. She dresses up as Starscream for cons every year.

After 1990, Hasbro (from Pawtucket Rhode Island) acquired it in full, merging Diaclone and Microchange, creating what we know of today as a single group of "Transformers"
Awesome collection. And hey, it's better than wasting his money on booze or playing pokeys at the pub. He can inherit them to his kids or sell them to make money.
I thought I knew what planet Cybertron looked like before watching this video, but now I realize the shear number of Transformers action figures there are in this world!!
Great article and so glad to see a top bloke like Trevor highlighted for his fantastic collection. Pity the hosts then made it about themselves afterwards.
Phenomenal collection! A structure entirely dedicated to Transformers is epic and I love the use of The Transformers (theme), the G1 Season 1 intro, Dare, the iconic Autobot/Decepticon Transition and The Touch! Haven’t seen the news go to this extent before by playing the iconic soundtrack throughout the video. Excellent stuff Australia! Till all are one!
Only thing I've seen worth not burning the house down in case of Australian spider infestation...this collection is the only thing on this green earth that would make me march back in like I got the matrix of leadership and eradicate every single bug until my collection is safe again...truly amazing
Such an impressive collection. I am nowhere near this guy's level - I have so much respect for him indulging in his passion. A lot of people look down on adults (particularly men) who enjoy things from their childhood, but the amount of joy it brings him cannot be measured. Even better, it has allowed him to bond with his son. That is the kind of thing that shapes us as humans and we come to value as we get older.
I have the most Transformers collection in my family. I’d love to keep making Transformers friends. And to make my family and friends to become young again by using the Transformers way! Transform to stay young and roll out!
WOW, O my god he has got to have every Transformer ever made 💖😍💞 Now that's an extremely passionate fan 👍👍 I wonder, if he has the Robosen versions of Optimus Prime, Megatron & Grimlock?! These are THE MOST EXPENSIVE!!!
Transformers was that early taste of "Japanese cool" here in America at a time when anime/manga etc was not nearly as normalized as today. Perhaps if Trevor removed that middle table & put in double sided racks, (library style,) he could REALLY free up space in his Transformatorium!
if he was a villian fan, sure. But he looked up to Optimus as a father figure that was semi-present in his life of his real father. Thus, Orion, of Orion-Pax. If my wife had let me, my kid would have been rodimus . lol
I wish my collection was half as big as his. If I had to focus on a certain period of Transformers to collect, it would be the stuff from Beast Wars to Classics. I'd also love to get all of the Botcon/TFCC toys at some point.
i collect transformers but kept the best design for every character. the excess i sell it to interested buyers or i just give to smaller family members. if it breaks, i have joy to fix, or teach the kids to fix with spare i have or in the nearby transformers old sparepart store
