It was for sure kryptonite bullet(like the arrow from dark knight returns). That's why they cut the scene exactly when he catches it.
The rainy scene matches up with the scene when batman blocks superman's punch from the trailer, so I assume the grenade that superman catches here is filled with kryptonite.

+CReaper210 Really? I think it's a regular grenade to hide the kryptonite bullet; The grenade looks like it's just a lead grenade, and the scene with the bullet is very reminiscent to the scene during the Batman vs Superman fight in Dark Knight Returns.

Ehhhh I live In Texas Too! And Yeah Tickets Don't sell fast here and we don't have to wait for big movie events like This Like. With the Force Awakens I got my tickets the day of when the movie came out and It wasn't really packed it might be because its so big here and there's a movie theatre on every corner.

2003 Hulk was literally a comic book on screen. Where as modern Marvel And DCEU is more an adaptation of comics to film. Nolan was creating a comic book influenced film with a lot of realism.

Normally I hate reaction channels an when I found this one I honestly only sat through it because there was a cinamasins video that had been taken down that i wanted to see. I do have to say that I like how unlike a great deal of other non finebro reaction videos you actually add something to the piece. Hey Akasan I think you should react to The Ring vs The Grudge trailer.
Most people missed the fact that those gas grenades were lead grenades. Thats why he couldnt see through the smoke.
The attention to detail to Batman as a charcter and Bruce Wayne seems spot on even down to the suit. The weather conditions. It shows the team is trying to give fans what they want. There is something special when you see something visual or here a reference to a comic that you read.
My best speculated guess is the "bullet" he shoots will explode releasing some type of Kryptonite gas that will leak into Superman's insides, much like the arrow Oliver queen shot in the Dark Knight Returns. Snyder has repeatedly said he has taken a lot of inspiration from that comic.
Brooo tickets sold out in like 5-10 minutes around me in like 3 different theaters. I live in NY.

Advance tickets for BvS already passed Jurassic World. passed Age of ultron in first few hours. and its getting really close to Star wars:TFA.
We're good to go boys. 1.8 billion box office (220m OW) is my prediction.
Its gotta be a kryptonite bullet, the lego sets all lean towards that theory.
this batman is fighting to kill, theres none of this "I want you to remember this moment". He's out to kill superman, thats his entire point, that superman cannot be allowed to live on earth "He could burn the whole place down".
So what's gonna happen is the kryptonite won't make Kal human, it will weaken him, he catches the punches on the building and hits supes about until he falls on the roof window, Batman jumps on him and they fall inside the building, at this point the fight is more evenly based until Superman eventually gets the upper hand again as the Kryptonite wears off (you see a scene where they are inside and supes is up against the wall and he starts to float up and Batman looks shocked, this is where the kryptonite wears off somewhat)
Can't wait to watch this in 4D in Korea. 4D is amazing. Like in this scene you would feel slight rain drops in the theatre you would also see smoke in the theatre in this scene. US is way behind.

+Akasan maybe way behind, but those kinds of gimmicks tend to be something that oriental cultures enjoy. I don't like smoke or rain etc during my movie going experience. Most of us don't even like 3D here. We would take 2D over 3D.
+CRITICAL MAS trust me US is way behind just like most movies outside of US has assigned seating. Yes when you buy your ticket you choose your seat. They even have plenty of machines to buy your ticket. 4D is a great experiences. US has always been behind.

The cinematographer for watchman, Larry Fong, who often collaborates with Zack Snyder, is the also the cinematographer for BVS.
One thing I find very weird in this clip is how when superman runs towards batman to fly him through that building,batman just stays there.Then,batman gets back up even though superman warned him not to.Then,he takes his time to throw that smoke bomb and superman just watches

+Jose Fernandez Isnt that from a comic? I think it was Injustice comic, where the smoke was led smoke or something, so Superman couldn't see through it, it might be something like that, otherwise Sups would be able to see through it.

I feel like the more grounded take on superheroes is whats going to be taking over comic book movies in the next few years. TO be honest taking things straight from the comics makes things boring and a little too childish and vibrant, the darker more mature tone just appeals to the general audience more.
Not really. Depends on the story and time period. 60's batman stories are going to be childish. More recent batman stories are not "dark" but it's not a childish story. Also taking a comic book and then adapting that into a movie is exciting as hell. Its like seeing your characters come to life.

Akasan Yep, the part where Superman is like ''If I wanted it, you'd be dead already.'' The rain doesn't appear to be hitting his suit enough to make it looked soaked, and that goes for Ben Affleck's armor suit as well. There's drips, but the rain is barely touching the surface of them.

Everyone is saying it was a kryptonite bullet but I think it was the gas that may have had kryptonite in it, and a few minutes after ingesting, it he became weaker. THEN Batman whooped his ass!

Watchmen is one of my favorite movies, and everyone is saying this has the Watchmen feel to it...personally I see A LOT of Sin City in this. Probably has to do with location of the battle (Gotham)

I heard that batman suit is made of general zods armour and the arrow thing batman shot at superman will actually be filled with kryptonian atmosphere air which is what made superman weak in man of steel, so then batman can take him on instead of using kryptonite as lex is the only one who discovered it.
I totally agree with you in that aspect. I guess to me it seems like a lot of people are not giving this movie a chance or even upcoming marvel movies a chance at all. I would prefer to make my own mind up than basing my opinion off of someone else's experience. And really those movie studios are gonna make a crap load of money regardless but the minute they make something horrible I just want to be able to say yeah I seen your bs and I thought it sucked not that I heard it sucked. I respect anyones opinion because it's opinion and movies are adjective. You have been on record for saying Batman is your favorite character. But when you watched BVS final trailer that opening fight scene didn't seem to excit you. But yet when you watched Civil War trailer end fight scene with Cap,Ironman and Bucky you got excited. both scenes were amazing. It just seems that you are bias. But I think it's because Zack Synder and that's where your doubt come from I believe. But at the same time bro realize you live in an error where the first time you have BVS on screen together. That alone should hype anyone up. We seen what marvel can do and X-men but BVS has never been done. I honestly think you let your lack of confidence in the director affect your judgement. Visually it looks amazing. The fact you have these characters and that are good but share conflicting ideologies is a compelling story itself. And WB has done a great job marketing that. This is not a hate comment by any means bro just something to consider. like I said I respect your opinion and you are in your right to feel how you feel. WB I think is doing great job at seperating themselves from marvel. Marvel is more pop corn and fun. DC is more grity more intesnse storylines though and more developed villians and there actions have consequences. Marel movies are more suited for all audiences. Where DC is also but more geared for intellectual more adult audiences. Which I think is cool cause you have diffent version of comic movies. I love all of them cause Cause I know what to expect from marvel and DC. and I think both are doing great at what they are trying to do.
CW is established with characters we know and love with successful movies over the years. Most of BvS is new characters and actors that will take adjusting to.
I've already seen Batman meet Superman 1st meetups several times. (My personal favorite was Tim Daily/Kevin Conroy) Doing it on the big screen via Zac Snyder isn't much to be excited about as chances are he ripped it straight from a comic book. (Especially given it was spoiled in a trailer.) Nothing new or different. But it's a wait and see sorta thing right now. We'll know in a month if it delivers.
+Akasan but Zack is taking aspects of the miller comic version. Batman and Supes knew each other but the Govt couldnt tollerate him anymore. So they sent superman. Plus Supes was older also. All comic movies are inspired by the comics. They are using portions of the Miller version as a way to bring these characters together and form the justice league. It's a genius way of doing so we don't have to see 5 origin stories before the justice formed. Yes we are a customed to the common characters. but there are more DC and marvel characters that should be explored and not just the same old ones. Movies studios need to take risk thats how you break new ground deadpool is an example and take things to a new level. Marvel is using aspects of Civil War to support there vision for the MCU just as DC is using batman v Superman to support there universe to kick start the Justice. Comics wise this is not how Batman meets superman in the comics. Yes they fought many times in the comics but the reason is different. But i agree we will see. I really want it to do good. That way we can have a Marvel and DC universe. Who wouldn't want that.

It's not as hard as it may seem. The storyboard is there. But again, if the story is all new and the imagery gives a whole new rush of fandom I'm all for it. I liked the TDKR animated feature. But honestly I only watched it once because it's nothing new. That actually goes a lot for most of the DCU animated adaptions. I will prolly feel the same way about the Killing Joke. I'm not that hype for that only because I already know what's going to happen. Still I'll check it out once....

Love your reactions but it seems like your basing your opinion to see this movie off what others say, is that correct? Why not see it and form your own opinion. Just seems a little odd that if one of your buds says he didn't like it you will most likely bash/critique the movie without ever seeing it yourself. All critics no matter how much they think a movie will suck still actually go and see it before giving their opinion. Just a question so don't get butt hurt.
Because if you give the studios your money blindly... they win. And that's why they can hire and cast whoever they want because they know fanboys will flock and be there opening day.
