The worst thing about the DC Cinematic Universe... is that we never truly got to see what it could do. The studio tried too hard to be Marvel, while Snyder saw a different path all along. And this FEELS like DC... He really knew what he was doing.

Without a doubt the most powerful line in the movie for me is “I’m not broken, and I’m not alone.” As someone who has struggled with severe depression and anxiety my whole life I found that line to be so simple and so powerful. And I know for a fact Zack Snyder added that line himself for his daughter Autumn. So all I can say to everyone else out there struggling with that same pain and isolation remember You Are Not Alone. Thank You Ray Fisher and thank you Zack Snyder!
Yes. Definitely. It encompasses so much. I can't help overlay this scene to the Snyder Cut Movement itself. Many of us were pilloried and ridiculed as "toxic" and "Snyder Cut Weirdos" for years, but we found strength and fortitude with other like minded fans around the world. We were never broken for wanting "the film that did not exist"; we were never alone no matter how hard they tried to gaslight us into thinking that no one wanted this.
When Barry says "dad, i just want you to know that whatever happens, you're kid was one of them, one of the best of the best" it almost seems like this is Autumn talking to Zack Snyder.
I love Superman's arc in the Snyderverse. Man of Steel - "You'll give them hope." Batman v Superman - "They will stumble, they will fall." Justice League - "But in time, they'll join you in the sun." And the last shot of the climax is literally the Justice League together in the sunrise. Amazing.

That "my man" from aquaman when he said it to victor just fits the scene much better cause they actually had a bond and the way aquaman sympathize with cyborg when silas died and he actually cared instead of him having a rival with cyborg in the theatrical cut.
In the epilogue when Arthur leaves to see his father, it showed how much lost time he had to catch up on, especially in lieu of Victor's father's untimely yet noble death, this movie is about family, suffering loss, faith, hope, redemption, and second chances.
You’re so right, that closing battle felt so much like an animated DC movie come to life. From the shot of Darkseid and the Justice League staring at each other through the portal to the Wonder Woman decapitation, she’s unbelievably brutal in those films; just look at Flashpoint.
I mean after superman comes to fight steppanwolf, he has this brutality that people don't expect from him. Him fighting doomsday in the comics is what him like punching the atmosphere away from hitting doomsday so hard that the air pressure destroyed things. I also liked the super confident supes when he stopped the axe.

Remember the scene in the tall grass on the Kent property was the 1st time Clark got to see his mom after Bruce promised to save her , he died before he got to see his mother , so it was so impactful for him to see both of the women he loves so much

Not gonna lie almost cried during the flash scene, it probably because of watching 7 years of the flash show really complimented it, but it was so good!
This movie is so fucking good. Just take the shots, it’s framed just like a graphic novel. Look at every new shot, pause it, and tell me it’s not ripped right from a graphic novel. I can practically see the speech bubbles and I love it so much
And it would have never had that same effect if it wasn't presented to us in 4:3. And people still complain about it when they are getting 100% of the shot.
The best part is 100% the speed force moment. The music, the effects, the stakes. Everything is so well done. Though the best dialogue is split evenly between “Make your own future. Make your own past.” And Cyborg’s “I’m not broken and I’m not alone.”
The end scene with Bruce Wayne was supposed to be with Green Lantern but WB didn't want to introduce a new potential IP in this movie so they changed it to Martian Manhunter.
I love how Bruce comes full circle in that scene.. He went to war against a alien but still very human looking person on the off chance he might turn evil, when he meets a green martian with superpowers he's like " cool, nice to meet you... Want some Coffee?" 😂

I really think that the sequence from when the Batmobile first appeared to them killing Steppenwolf is on par with any fight sequence in the MCU (and I'm saying that as someone who loves the MCU). The Flash sequence is one of the best comic book movie scenes ever. That was just an amazing job by Zack there....
One of the many things this movie did right was showing that it's not always the A list of superheroes that save the day. Everyone played an important part, but in the end it was Cyborg and The Flash that saved the day
I know that some people were disappointed the "We live in a society" line wasn't in the film, but I thought i was genuis that they put a different line in the trailer so they didn't spoil that amazing conversation at the end.

As a diehard MCU fan, I can confirm that this movie is unbelievable for how amazing it is compared to the josstice league disaster. I am glad Zack got his long break since the tragedy that made him step down in the first place, and I am happy he still has the strength to make a movie. I dont know anyone who could have the strength like he did after a tragedy like he experienced.
The motivation for stepphenwolf is so good all he wanted was to go home but needed the 50,000 worlds for his betrayal and not even killing those that tried to take out darkseid got him home
I went from hating Flash and wondering why Ezra Miller was cast to loving the Flash and not being able to see anyone else playing him in the DCEU. How they ever thought to cut his scenes and have him pushing a truck instead of saving the world is beyond all rational thought.
Not getting to experience Barry turning back time, the baton pass to Victor, and Victor’s own personal catharsis on the big screen was the *biggest* way in which we were robbed by the theatrical cut. The most invested in a moment I’ve ever been in a Snyder film.
COSPLAY IDEA: When anyone cosplays as Wonder Woman, there’s gotta be a music player companion around that’ll play “whohahoha” WW theme whenever she does literally anything.
The flash scene is my personal favorite scene of the whole snydercut and there many many great scenes in this. The snydercut managed to make me hate ezras flash to LOVE ezras flash. Now I’m so anxious to see flashpoint. And kiersey Clemons as iris!!!
For me its more reasonable for Wonder Woman to be brutal in live action like animated series. She born and raised a warrior and she killed/decapitated Steppenwolf is a death deals for her sisters. The Snyder Cut really gives you the DC animated movies feeling in it.
Whedon's cut drops in '17, everyone spends 3 years demanding Snyder's version. . Snyder's version finally releases in '21, WB thinking everyone will finally shut up about it. . Everyone immediately begins clamoring for the full Snyder-verse that was originally planned. . "Are you not entertained!?"
DC heroes are so Godlike it needs epic stakes and epic feeling and Snyder gets that. The MCU tone works for it's more sarcastic characters built off Iron Man and it works. So I love how different the tones are but that really works and what was needed
Yeah, DC might never catch up with MCU, but what ZS achieved in an arc of 3 movies is unmatched in any cinematic universe. This is way better than The Avengers and I'd put it up there with the best Super-hero movies of all time. Kudos to Snyder.

I enjoyed it more than endgame because well 1. It’s been a fan service literally. We knew it existed and it took 4 long years to make it, endgame never had that problem because it has a perfectly established universe unlike the dceu. And B. Because I like DC more. I grew up with the dc universe first. I love marvel too but DC is more of my thing. Particularly Batman and the flash lore.
@@natechenry As a marvel and DC fan they are Definitely even, but I prefer justice league just because endgame was a conclusion and more of an epic mission to end the saga and they had built up everything else throughout other films. Where this movie is a character driven,heartfelt superhero story with lots of development, and really shows teamwork in the best fashion throughout one film. Not to say endgame isn't character driven, but it focuses more on the plot than it's character's. Justice league is also a huge step up from zack, and as I said it's in my opinion, my number 1 favorite superhero movie. So yeah I agree!
I've never felt as much excitement and emotion watching a movie as I did with this. 15/10. Zack Snyder is the fucking man and knows exactly what we as fans want to see.

Even if Batman V Superman wasn’t a great movie, I almost want to binge all of the Snyder films to get his full vision. As flawed as they may be, it’s worth it for its high moments to me.
I will say this if you watch all of the content he had a hand in, it 💯 makes every movie 1000s of times better. BvS is an odd duck if you didn't understand the risks he took, but fully fleshed out it's so good. MoS BvS Wonder Woman Justice League
@Anuj Sharma I won’t deny that his versions of all these characters are really cool. But his writing and directing of that film particularly has a lot of flaws, or things that if tweeted could have been SO much better. Doomsday being one big example. But yes, the movie is cool, and I’m a fan of Man of Steel and ZSJL. Some RUclips reviews have some good explanations of what I mean.
A lot of folks didn't catch when Barry says "One of the best of the best Dad"... When he visits his dad in Jail, his dad tells him that...to give up freeing him and to go be one of the best of the best. That's why he says this when using the speed force.
I’m baffled at some decisions they decided to go with, like if they decided to go with Zack Snyder in the first place, there’s still a 2:45 to a 3 hr movie that would’ve worked. Is there problems of course but I feel those problems are so small cuz they accomplished to answer the major questions i had in the theatrical cut like “what’s the endgame to this universe??” Lol Like i knew it was leading up to Darkseid but the theatrical cut didn’t so you couldn’t help but leave confused lol but right here Darkseid is all over this movie lol. Also, the team feels earned and the characters went from annoying to out of character to I want to follow them in their own films now and I want to fully commit into this universe. Also it didn’t feel like a 4 hr movie for some reason, BVS felt more like 4 hr movie then this that was actually a 4 hr movie lmao which is so weird.
This movie was absolutely amazing. We have watched it 6 times since it’s release. I don’t waste my time trying to find things to nitt pick on, just enjoyed the movie snd the amazing shots Zack was able to capture. The 4 hours felt more like 2.5 hours and honestly I didn’t want it to end. There are only a couple of comic book movies that made me feel so connected to a movie like this movie did. How Zack perfectly captured the humanity of all the characters which no other comic book movie ever has. I can talk about this movie for hours but will only ask everyone to watch this Masterpiece for the message and amazing story line snd avoid trying to find things that are petty such as the singing parts which are just a couple of them. Again I’m mind blown by how good this movie was and have to rethink what my favorite comic book movies are which before this movie were The Dark Night, Logan, The Watchmen, Man of Steel, Spider-Man I, and Iron Man I.
The big highlight is the flash using the speed force, it’s actually the proper set up for the solo flash movie which will focus on the speed-force even more.
Snyder is actually a genius. When he had both fathers talking to him. It’s like how Jesus had 2 fathers. 1 his Heavenly Father and 2 his earth father Joseph. And then way Snyder depicts it for Clark it’s the same and so amazing 🙌🏻
Dude! I didn't think about that until you said! That's pretty cool! And it plays along well with the moment Superman rises into the sky and the Reject on the right (name?) says, "Jesus rises!" 😂 Plus, when he said that, I caught myself saying "it's the Second Coming!"
I noticed in the scene where Barry is in the speed force and turning back time near the end of his run toward Cyborg that even Superman's body is shown being reassembled, so apparently even Superman's physical durability was no match for the explosion caused by the three mother boxes uniting.
That flash scene is so damn epic on so many levels!! Seeing the team actually fail, the explosion, the way Barry starts to phase, the music, the way the earth is being wiped out and the flash is now standing in space, his dialogue bringing back his interaction with his father earlier in the film, the look of him running and the earth forming which each step, Barry being the only living person, him saving the team and bringing back Superman for the second time. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve rewatched that scene.
I wish that Batman would have said at the end "See you around ... J'onn J'onzz" just to show that he is already aware there is new player in town and is prepared for him
The moment Wonder Woman saved everyone was when I actually cried 🤧🥲 I already knew I was gonna cry in this movie. Not just in an emotional scene. Because The Snyder Cut is actually out 👏🏼👏🏼😎

OMGGGG you’re right! I totally forgot about that (and I follow these films heavily lol) put into context the scene hits even harder.
The line "How many timeliness can you destroy before you have the cahones to die yourself?" implied so much more we could've gotten, but missed out on
That final beatdown they gave Steppenwolf was so damn satisfying.
Especially the three-way Mortal Kombat style fatality.

I really think that the sequence from when the Batmobile first appeared to them killing Steppenwolf is on par with any fight sequence in the MCU (and I'm saying that as someone who loves the MCU).
The Flash sequence is one of the best comic book movie scenes ever.

One of the many things this movie did right was showing that it's not always the A list of superheroes that save the day. Everyone played an important part, but in the end it was Cyborg and The Flash that saved the day

I know that some people were disappointed the "We live in a society" line wasn't in the film, but I thought i was genuis that they put a different line in the trailer so they didn't spoil that amazing conversation at the end.
They could have just not put the conversation in the trailer if they didn't want to spoil it.

As a diehard MCU fan, I can confirm that this movie is unbelievable for how amazing it is compared to the josstice league disaster. I am glad Zack got his long break since the tragedy that made him step down in the first place, and I am happy he still has the strength to make a movie. I dont know anyone who could have the strength like he did after a tragedy like he experienced.
The motivation for stepphenwolf is so good all he wanted was to go home but needed the 50,000 worlds for his betrayal and not even killing those that tried to take out darkseid got him home
He had to pay an impossible mortgage. That poor armored fluff murder machine.
The best part is that Darksied knew he wasn't capable of giving him 50k worlds he probably demanded that to keep playing with him

I went from hating Flash and wondering why Ezra Miller was cast to loving the Flash and not being able to see anyone else playing him in the DCEU. How they ever thought to cut his scenes and have him pushing a truck instead of saving the world is beyond all rational thought.

Not getting to experience Barry turning back time, the baton pass to Victor, and Victor’s own personal catharsis on the big screen was the *biggest* way in which we were robbed by the theatrical cut. The most invested in a moment I’ve ever been in a Snyder film.

It happens pretty fast, but I love that Supes just kicks Steppenwolf across the room after destroying his axe.
For me its more reasonable for Wonder Woman to be brutal in live action like animated series. She born and raised a warrior and she killed/decapitated Steppenwolf is a death deals for her sisters.
The Snyder Cut really gives you the DC animated movies feeling in it.

DC heroes are so Godlike it needs epic stakes and epic feeling and Snyder gets that. The MCU tone works for it's more sarcastic characters built off Iron Man and it works. So I love how different the tones are but that really works and what was needed

Yeah, DC might never catch up with MCU, but what ZS achieved in an arc of 3 movies is unmatched in any cinematic universe. This is way better than The Avengers and I'd put it up there with the best Super-hero movies of all time. Kudos to Snyder.

This is my number one favorite comic book movie, I just love it so much I honestly think its up there with endgame!
I enjoyed it more than endgame because well 1. It’s been a fan service literally. We knew it existed and it took 4 long years to make it, endgame never had that problem because it has a perfectly established universe unlike the dceu. And B. Because I like DC more. I grew up with the dc universe first. I love marvel too but DC is more of my thing. Particularly Batman and the flash lore.
@@natechenry As a marvel and DC fan they are Definitely even, but I prefer justice league just because endgame was a conclusion and more of an epic mission to end the saga and they had built up everything else throughout other films. Where this movie is a character driven,heartfelt superhero story with lots of development, and really shows teamwork in the best fashion throughout one film. Not to say endgame isn't character driven, but it focuses more on the plot than it's character's. Justice league is also a huge step up from zack, and as I said it's in my opinion, my number 1 favorite superhero movie. So yeah I agree!

Even if Batman V Superman wasn’t a great movie, I almost want to binge all of the Snyder films to get his full vision. As flawed as they may be, it’s worth it for its high moments to me.
I will say this if you watch all of the content he had a hand in, it 💯 makes every movie 1000s of times better. BvS is an odd duck if you didn't understand the risks he took, but fully fleshed out it's so good.

@Anuj Sharma I won’t deny that his versions of all these characters are really cool. But his writing and directing of that film particularly has a lot of flaws, or things that if tweeted could have been SO much better. Doomsday being one big example. But yes, the movie is cool, and I’m a fan of Man of Steel and ZSJL. Some RUclips reviews have some good explanations of what I mean.

A lot of folks didn't catch when Barry says "One of the best of the best Dad"... When he visits his dad in Jail, his dad tells him that...to give up freeing him and to go be one of the best of the best. That's why he says this when using the speed force.
The more I've watched the scene with Joker, the more I like him. I wasn't sure at first, but now I want to see more of Leto's Joker.

I’m baffled at some decisions they decided to go with, like if they decided to go with Zack Snyder in the first place, there’s still a 2:45 to a 3 hr movie that would’ve worked. Is there problems of course but I feel those problems are so small cuz they accomplished to answer the major questions i had in the theatrical cut like “what’s the endgame to this universe??” Lol Like i knew it was leading up to Darkseid but the theatrical cut didn’t so you couldn’t help but leave confused lol but right here Darkseid is all over this movie lol. Also, the team feels earned and the characters went from annoying to out of character to I want to follow them in their own films now and I want to fully commit into this universe. Also it didn’t feel like a 4 hr movie for some reason, BVS felt more like 4 hr movie then this that was actually a 4 hr movie lmao which is so weird.
This movie was absolutely amazing. We have watched it 6 times since it’s release. I don’t waste my time trying to find things to nitt pick on, just enjoyed the movie snd the amazing shots Zack was able to capture. The 4 hours felt more like 2.5 hours and honestly I didn’t want it to end. There are only a couple of comic book movies that made me feel so connected to a movie like this movie did. How Zack perfectly captured the humanity of all the characters which no other comic book movie ever has. I can talk about this movie for hours but will only ask everyone to watch this Masterpiece for the message and amazing story line snd avoid trying to find things that are petty such as the singing parts which are just a couple of them. Again I’m mind blown by how good this movie was and have to rethink what my favorite comic book movies are which before this movie were The Dark Night, Logan, The Watchmen, Man of Steel, Spider-Man I, and Iron Man I.
The big highlight is the flash using the speed force, it’s actually the proper set up for the solo flash movie which will focus on the speed-force even more.

I noticed in the scene where Barry is in the speed force and turning back time near the end of his run toward Cyborg that even Superman's body is shown being reassembled, so apparently even Superman's physical durability was no match for the explosion caused by the three mother boxes uniting.

You guys nailed it, it's like a DC Animated movie/series. All the crazy-amazing shit that animation gets away with when live action rarely goes there.
Definitely darkside boom tubing in on the fight, the knightmare timeline or flash reversing time.
They are all good non the less.
That flash scene is so damn epic on so many levels!! Seeing the team actually fail, the explosion, the way Barry starts to phase, the music, the way the earth is being wiped out and the flash is now standing in space, his dialogue bringing back his interaction with his father earlier in the film, the look of him running and the earth forming which each step, Barry being the only living person, him saving the team and bringing back Superman for the second time. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve rewatched that scene.
