Hey Woodie, I was sitting in my studio working on a piece for my grand daughter in Florida when I took a break to watch your new video. I enjoyed the way you captured the time with your Mom and family in your new world outside of NY city. It's not easy being away from loved ones, and knowing how your Mom must of felt leaving all of you to return to her home. We have 3 adult sons, 1 in Cleveland, 1 in Boca, and 1 in Manhattan. We live in western PA. We miss the chance to see our 4 grand children on a regular basis. I told my boys as they were venturing out into the world, that they must do what is best for them and their families, and create the best lives they can for them. So as "The Paint Slinger" rides off into the sunset leaving The Big Apple behind, only bigger and better things are on the horizon for you and your family. Looking forward to the next chapter of "The Paint Slinger"
Thanks once again for the thoughtful and always entertaining comments Ken. It can be tough being away from family sometimes. My mom and dad live in Oregon and I wish I could see them more. Sounds like you are a supportive and loving father/grandfather. Hahahaha! We kept our apartment in the city and plan to make frequent trips so I can sling some paint in the hood. Best of both worlds. I'm very excited about the next chapter! Glad you're enjoying the videos!
Phew! Thought you were going to give up painting! LOL. Panicked there for a second. Your mom is adorable. So glad she came out to spend time with your family (Russell gets cuter with every video!!!). I bet she was sad to go too. I love that you have moved your family to New Jersey, Woodie. You will find your way there too! Just like in NYC, people will find you and will know you soon enough. Your art moves people!!!!

Hi Woodie, I am grateful that I found your channel a year ago. I always feel the love in your videos for your family and the passion for your art. I clicked on feering that it would be your last post, only to breath easy when you said your Mum (New Zealand spelling) was going back home to your Dad. Though I sense how much you will miss her. How fitting that the painting you show is masterful, colours quite subdued with greys and browns-significant perhaps to how you feel? I look forward to seeing the developments. Take care and may you and your beautiful family continue to be blessed by our Father in Heaven. Art can certainly move people but all that you do within your videos are so much more and that's why I keep coming back-your family touches the heart.
