I started watching a few days ago and watched all the episodes. Now I'm up to date and I love this series. It's really cool to see you guys work your way through the old Volvo and giving it so much love. I'm sure it's going to serve you well. Looking forward to next episode! Kind regards from Germany :)
Cool. Went trough the Same with the exhaust but switched to a stainless Steel one. Regarding the leak in the middle the catalytic converter could be rusted trough at the connection to the exhaust. There is a cheap solution from Skandix available. More or less a tube that fits perfectly on the tube of the catalytic converter. Works great without any welding
@@MusTRitch less trouble yea, just used the impact gun right away :) I think u pulled out the metal part due to overheating the rubber, but u got it done ;)

Imagine using the tools recommended by the manufacturer to install and remove the rear bushing... This post was made by "wastes 4 hours removing and installing a bushing without the needed tools'' gang.
The very best solution for freeing rusted bolts is a 50/50 mixer of ATF & acetone. Works everything!
SALUDOS MI AMIGO DESDE PANAMA🇵🇦👍🇵🇦👍MUCHAS GRACIAS POR ESE GRAN TRABAJO...GOOD WORK..🇵🇦👍🇵🇦👍
now you will feel in fast and tight curves like sliding, but it's the steering of the rearaxle 😍
Can't wait to experience that!😄

What I learned here is to replace the left bushing first, so the last one is easier
litturally did the same bushings this weekend lol
Hope you had less trouble getting the old ones out 😅

in hind sight, should have put a jubilee clip around the plastic part, so it gets pulled with the tool.

Dank! En die beschermplaat gaan we zeker in de gaten houden😊
You needed an induction heater for the seized bolt.
Amazing !
Did you think of trying a slide hammer? They can exert over a ton of force.
Volgende klus: subframe bussen?
Gaat zeker nog komen in de toekomst!
I'm going to hit mine with Mapp gas until the polymer turns to jelly first eff this.
Yeah if the bushings are very old you should always use TONS of heat and then it will be a piece of cake
Im wondering if the exhaust is the same diameter as in a t5-r. And if so! Where did you buy that ? :)
Does this cause negative camber?
Can you REuse the special bolt with the slots , or do you need a new one (could not see it on your video at 12:36 what you did there)
We used a new bolt and nut. If its old, rusty and very stuck, like ours, I wouldn't reuse it.
Those bushings on the table at 0:35. Are they only for 855 wagon? I have never seen them on my 854 sedan
Yes, the Sedan also has the delta links.
Gebruiken jullie speciaal gereedschap? Zo ja wat voor gereedschap?
We hebben inderdaad een tool gekocht om ze te vervangen. Demontage gereedschap draagarmbus achteras bij R&D Car Parts.
@@MusTRitch dankjewel! Ga ik gelijk bestellen 😁
where did you buy that extractor🤔👀
We bought it at R&D Car Parts (specialised in Volvo and Saab parts, based in the Netherlands)
Where'd y'all get your exhaust?
From estate services netherlands.
Wat voor soort uitlaat hebben jullie der nieuwe onder gedaan?
Orginele van volvo
Leuke video! Waar hebben jullie de tool gekocht.
Die hebben we bij R&D Car Parts gekocht.
