Imagine if instead of 2013, it was a plane that disappeared in 1988 (something that doesn't fly anymore today like a DC10 or a Concorde) and reappeared 30 years later in 2018. I wonder how much more impactful that would've been for people from the '80s having to readjust to life in the 21st century and seeing their family members now 30 years older.

@@Rocca000 he very obviously meant that it is devastating (= meaning very sad) for the people who were on the flight since it has obviously been only a few hours for them and not 5 years.
@@Rocca000 op meant it like you and your significant other are in love and nothing is wrong with the relationship. You go on a flight expecting to see them again in a few hours but 5 years pass and they've let you go emotionally and found someone new. It's not really cheating like you're implying because for them it's been 5 years after your death. It's the emotional shock of them loving you one minute then them with someone else because 5 years has passed already.

I’ve watched Manifest and I am so excited for the next season. It was such an amazing show and this recap went over everything perfectly. All the details were mentioned and this was very interesting even though I know what happened throughout all of it.

@@nara97It's kind of complicated, but I will try my best to explain it.
In the show, in flight 828, when the storm happened, the plane actually crashed, and they (kind of) died. But they didn't actually die, but rather they all went to a place called the "divine consciousness". In short, in that place, they knew everything, everything that had ever happened, and everything that will ever happen. Then when roughly 5 years passed, they were (kind of) reborn, and they were all sent to an identical copy of the plane they were previously in. But when they were "reborn", they forgot about the plane crashing, or about their time in the divine consciousness. But they just remembered some fragments of memory from the divine consciousness, which they would remember throughout the series as "voices", which would guide them to do certain things.

I can't imagine coming back 5 years later. All my friends would be so much older, my family, everyone I know. I really want to know how and why they're getting these sensations. It's almost like this was planned somehow.
I love how you recap movies or shows in 10-15 minutes. It really helps decide if I would want to watch it. I remember somehow I was in a conversation with someone and this series was brought up. They told me it was good but I kind of forgot about it.

I saw one video of Mystery Recapped and now I can't ignore the fact that I watch it now every day... I love his content as it makes the movies shorter. And also, watching Mystery recapped is much-much better than watching a 3-hour movie. Besides, he mostly tells movies that we didn't even know exist! That's why I love this channel out of all the other recapping channels.

I watched all three seasons in a couple of weeks. It's not a masterpiece of a series, but the concept is intriguing enough and there's always more questions than answers. Also, the acting is pretty decent and most characters are interesting. I can't wait for the final season.

This is an incredible series. It's one of the few that got me so hooked that I felt the urge to binge watch from beginning to end. I have some minor gripes with some parts of it, but overall it's still among my favourites and surprisingly the ending doesn't suck. For some reason I expect shows with a particularly interesting premise and well written mystery and suspense to fail to stick the landing in an abysmal way. Maybe because of Lost

I keep seeing people mentioning the Malaysia flight, but the plane never reappeared. A more intriguing story is the one about a bunch of people that actually went missing before and reappeared years later. No one had aged a day and they seemed to have no idea that they had been gone for so long.

I'd give you one of I could, but it was covered by someone on YT and I watched it so long ago, that I can't remember the details. I don't know if it was a town or just a group of people, but I remember the photo they showed, which was of a crowd of people dressed in like 80s clothes or something and they had been missing for a very long time. They just randomly appeared outside of a forest one day. Not sure if that was a town location of if they were people that had vanished over the years in that spot.

I recently discovered this series and I love it so seeing this is really making me happy
This is one of my favorite shows. When NBC didn't renew season 4, I wasn't impressed because of the cliffhanger on the season 3 finale. The whole thing with Cal and his mom was one of the biggest season finales. When it was cancelled on NBC, Netflix is going to do season 4 which is the last season. I'm waiting for season 4 now and it's being filmed now. Super excited.

I love this show. It reminds me of LOST but for a more... conservative? Crowd? Like, families can watch it together with younger kids. I'm so interested in the mystery and look forward to the next season.

This remains me of that Santiago flight incident. The plane disappeared for literally 35 years, and when it finally arrived, skeletonized corpses were found inside of the plane.
Season one was definitely the best for this show. The rest afterwards kinda fell flat but glad that mystery recap is doing this show

R.I.P to those who believe in time travel, We can't use a time machine to travel hundreds of years into the past or future. That kind of time travel only happens in books and movies. But the math of time travel does affect the things we use every day. For example, we use GPS satellites to help us figure out how to get to new places.

I remember watching a trailer for this but for some reason I didn't remember the name of the show and I thought the twins were different people. The concept was more of the same though. Its interesting that these people get clairvoyances but I definitely didnt expect the show to turn out that way.
