It is an odd choice of weapon. All I know about crossbows comes from The Adventures of William Tell when I was six. It was in monochrome; well it was 1958. But I watched all of the episodes avidly, realising there was no way I'd be able to load one up with a bolt; you would have had to be Charles Atlas to do that.
