I've thought the same thing before! I saw him on the most recent G3 tour and, when speaking to the audience between songs, you would swear he was actually a little awkward, maybe even a bit uncomfortable! It was really striking I'm contrast to such a mind-blowing musical perfomance. He certainly didn't have the usual kind of attitude or whatever you expect from a guy who has spent most of his life playing bombastic music in massive venues all over the planet, which isn't a bad thing.
I love how JM heads upstairs and opens the door to drown out his speech. Even after so many years in such a prolific band, he’s still so private and shrouded in mystery.
Lol, Myung. I like how he is starting going up the stairs while beeing interviewed, then opening a room where music plays, then just standing besides it. This is so random. ^^
It is clear to me that the interview is obviously candid in questions, but the flow was clearly defined. Each member was quietly minding their own devices until their turn. Myung went up the stairs to pass the relay to Jordan. I don’t think it had much to do with getting away or the vibe of the room.
I thought that Myung was about to flee from the interview to lock himself in the attic, but Jordan was there with his loud ipad, so he has no option but cornered outside and continue the interview lol
Eh, in the age of RUclips to we really need in studio DVD’s? Don’t get me wrong, I love the in studio footage and the systematic chaos video, but it seems like the delivery method will be online for most people going forward. Or am I unaware of a huge market for behind the scenes dvd sales?
Jordan missed the chance to say the best advice he ever got was to not worry and practice very hard and be assured that things were going to turn out fine, given to him at age 20 by a strange bearded man.
Myung, the Silent Man. The best Running Gack in Music History. To see him on an conversation more than 2min. Never thought that this will happen some day. It is really a gift of Heaven xD I love it :D

I don't know how I missed this one. I can hardly believe it! John Myung giving actual answers in complete sentences! (Don't get me wrong. He's my favorite bassist of all time!) I'm currently working on his bass line for Pale Blue Dot.
Best Part: Petrucci jokes about the gym and the interviewer doesn't even laugh and just moves on to the next question and Petrucci says, "Hmmm." It was as if saying, "Hmmm....maybe this interviewer is a stuffed shirt."
