One thing i really miss pre-mangini era was all the awesome behind the scenes footage. Portnoy/DT team always had a camera running and quality long runtime videos of what happened in studios.

I love how they really brought back all the behind the scenes stuff with this album! It really makes it so much more special witnessing the making of the album then listening to the final product.

And the good news is that we will officially have that 'behind the scene' stuff as well for the next DT album probably coming out later this year!!

Apparently they all lived in the studio during the recording process, and whenever they weren't making music, they were drinking bourbon, smoking weed and eating John Petrucci's greasy-ass barbecue chicken. It would have been fucking awesome.

I used to really like these guys until I met them in person. Honestly, James was by far the most friendly and made you feel like you wasn’t wasting his time or acting like he had better places to be, Myung was a complete prick. 🤘🏼

Sorry to hear that. I never met them in person but I imagine at this point they’re so over DT, it’s like an office job for them.
That’s odd. I’ve never heard anyone say they’ve been anything but nice & professional.
I met Petrucci in person at a free meet and greet in Paris, he was an absolute class act ! He really took time with each person even if he had to quickly move and play the G3 just after.
Same attitude with Portnoy when I saw him after a couple of shows.
And I have to say that my experience with Jordan has been nothing short of amazing (he actually shared one of my drum video on one of his songs and allowed me to do a collab video with him: such a down to earth and respectful man ! 😊)
Now I am sorry if you had a bad experience with one member once, it sucks... 😢Maybe Mr Myung was in a bad mood during that day.

Sinceramente, não consigo me acostumar com o Mangini, me esforço, mas não consigo, e a bateria do Mangini é estranha, ele tem que esticar os braços todo pra alcançar os pratos, perde tempo na condução das músicas, enfim, não estou aqui pra julgar a capacidade técnica de ninguém, mas o Portnoy faz muita falta, muita...e parece que a banda é assim mais contida sem a presença do Portnoy, é uma impressão minha, ok.
