I retired and took a job working at Sanford Stadium (UGA). It has been one of the most satisfying jobs that I have ever had the pleasure to do. Not bad for being over 100 years old.
It wasn’t that long ago that Jordan hare stadium was considered one of the top few stadiums in the conference. It desperately needs some exterior renovations so that it can look more like the nicer ones today. Conversely, Bryant-Denny used to be an absolute joke, but Alabama has poured tons of money into it now that it has replaced Legion Field entirely as their home stadium. Texas A&M’s campus just drips money. It’s no wonder their stadium has been improved up,to this standard. They literally have a women’s indoor track practice facility that is nicer than half these football stadiums.
The original horseshoe structure portion of Death Valley (LSU, obviously) contained dorms. Stdent literally lived in the stadium. While games were played.
I remember while I was in high school, our Ag class went to the LSU rodeo in ‘83 or ‘84. We got to LSU early morning and our teacher and assistant principal turned us loose, saying “We don’t want to see you until tonight”. I passed by Tiger Stadium, and I could see students looking out and down towards me. That was pretty cool to see. I walked all over campus and went to Leisure Landing to buy some cassettes. Met up with some classmates later and they took me to a little A-frame building that sold cheap hamburgers, 25¢ I think. It was located on Highland Rd.
Your impression of a Cajun seismologist was awe inspiring! As a UK employee, Kroger Field is a pretty good place to watch a football game. The tailgating is pretty cool, as well. Parking stinks, but that's true for most big stadiums.
I liked Kentucky. Went up there in 1991 for the Ole Miss game and had a great time. My grandparents lived about 1/2 mile from the stadium when they were alive. I recall walking a bit to the stadium but nothing too bad
The first thing I noticed in comparison to our Arkansas stadium was all the close large parking lots! Most people have to park a mile or more from the stadium because the parking lots are mostly for season ticket holders, and their passes can cost a $100 or more per game if you want to park close! The season pass holders have to pay way more than that just for the parking lot pass.
Neyland at 7 is a JOKE. No way The Swamp, Darrel K, Bryant Denny, or Sanford Stadium should be ahead. I’m not mad with Death Valley or Kyle Field being ahead but I still don’t agree. You’re very wrong.
Yeah Razorback stadium is renovated constantly. Might have less seats for now then the others but It sure gets loud here in Fayetteville when we play. Other stadiums like sc and uk and ole miss u don’t see them sold out seats. Win ark wins a nation championship one year forget the field goal, the who fucking Stadium is coming down so a future renovation is coming soon.
I’ve visited 9/14. Sanford at #2 is a bit high and it’s my alma mater. Truly is built into the campus hills though. I graduated in the Grady building right next to it. My roommate dropped me off one day and was amazed to drive around the corner and see the stadium out of nowhere as she crossed the bridge.
No true Dawg would ever say that. Unlike all the other stadiums in the SEC, it's the only stadium where every single new renovation was built specifically to blend into the existing stadium so it doesn't look haphazard as all the other stadiums do. It's remained symmetrical, which is important. It's the most beautiful stadium in the conference, inside and out, and I say that knowing that the outside could use some bricking.

Neyland Stadium is also full of administrative and faculty offices. Yes, inside the stadium structure itself. So its not just a stadium, but part of the education part of the college. And you made a queen joke....bruh, she's dead.
College football is basically a religion in the SEC. So you are literally disparaging adherents temples when you criticize these stadiums. Not placing Neyland at number 1 may have people looking for your head. Lol, thanks for sharing though.
Since you included Texas and Oklahoma early, you should have also included MBS Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Jerry’s World. SEC Championship, Florida/Georgia, Arkansas/TAMU
How is Neyland not #1, let alone top 3?!?!. It’s the most uniform looking out of them all with balance round interior. It’s also surrounded by mountains & on river. It looks the best from inside & outside with the brick facade. It looks like it was actually built all at once, where the other stadiums look like sections have been patched in throughout the years to add capacity. It’s also one of the loudest & newest looking even though it’s old.
Yeah of I wanted #1 (close but no cigar... **sighs**), but I honestly did like the first pic he showed of A&M's outside so I understand some of his reasoning as to why he would rank them above UGA/Sanford even if I don't like it lol. Been to other stadium's but never another SEC team so I don't personally know anything but our stadium. Never been to Neyland so idrk.
The hedges are there because they were inspired by the roses around the field at the Rose Bowl stadium. The hedges did not keep patrons from the field but the chain link fence incorporated into the hedges does a nice job of it.
You definitely got #1 right. Kyle Field is an absolute palace. Even the interior corridors are clean and easy to navigate. Also it's hard to see in photos but the stadium seating is built in a very vertical way that puts even the highest seats relatively close to the field.
@@greenwave819 I've been to every SEC stadium for a game. As a stadium Kyle Field is definitely #1. You cans argue maybe LSU has a better environment but that's a big maybe and it very game specific.
University of Kentucky's stadium is named Commonwealth Stadium. Kroger bought the name of the field, not the stadium. The correct name is Kroger Field at Commonwealth Stadium. I have sent this correction before and got a response, but yet here we are with wrong name again.
UK easily has the nicest stadium. Not because I'm biased, but because of the technology, the vending, the tailgating area, the overall ease of leaving, the police having excellent ways of routing people safely to their vehicle, the chair seating even in upper deck, the suites, the lounges, the restaurants in the stadium, the fireworks show they put on. You truly won't understand unless you visit each of these stadiums. But out of all the stadiums I've been to, Kentucky has the nicest one.
I went to Ben Hill Griffin stadium to go to a Gators game. If you go to that, make sure you get there early for parking. I mean really early. If game starts at 1:00, get there by 10:30-11. Parking is terrible. It took me over an hour to find parking when I went. Leaving is even worse. A 1 hour drive back home took 3 hours. I don't know what's worse, finding parking at the stadium or leaving

Since you are already adding Texas and Oklahoma, I would be cool to add other future conferences Big 10 and Big 12. Also the Sunbelt because they changed this year.
What are your thoughts on the preliminary design of Northwestern’s new Ryan Field (Big Ten)? While small capacity, it looks promising. The exterior leaves something to be desired (not bad at all, but nothing jaw-dropping), but the interior looks amazing. I was hoping they’d avoid the traditional college football stadium feel and instead go for a European/MLS soccer stadium feel with a continuous canopy. And they fulfilled that wish. I’m so happy about that. I’m also glad they’ll have no bench seating. At 800 million it must have top-shelf amenities and finishes planned. Also, zero public funding will be used, so bonus.
Man for Mississippi State, should’ve included the deafening sounds of the cowbells. That’s what makes our stadium special, it’s the inability to hear yourself think
Amazing as usual! Why include Oklahoma and Texas when they are still 2 years away from playing in the Conference? Outside of that, fantastic. I cannot wait to see your series of Conference stadiums once the 'Conference Realignment' period is over. Keep them going.

I think Neyland Stadium should be 1 or 2. It has a great view of the Knoxville Skyline and the outside is modern. It once sat over 107,000 and the largest in all of college football but built press boxes on opposite sides reducing seating by 5,000. It still holds 103,000.

South Carolina has the most unique lighting system of any stadium I’ve seen. Looks futuristic
Those lights were just replaced this year with LED lights
@@tommyhuggins1844 yep experienced the season opener and Texas A&M. Electric atmosphere and the lights enhanced it more
The original horseshoe structure portion of Death Valley (LSU, obviously) contained dorms.
I was shocked Georgia made it to number two. I mean I love Sanford Stadium but I definitely think LSU and Tennessee have way nicer stadiums than UGA.
You lost all credibility when you put Neyland Stadium at #7.
Cajuns sound nothing like that.
@@jamesfields2916 Kentucky is terrible. If you’re in the upper deck you have to go all the way to the ground for the consession stand.
@@patricksmith5282 I said I liked Kentucky. Don't recall much of the stadium other than we were in the closed endzone on a cool windy night.
Nicely done!!
Neyland at 7 is a JOKE. No way The Swamp, Darrel K, Bryant Denny, or Sanford Stadium should be ahead. I’m not mad with Death Valley or Kyle Field being ahead but I still don’t agree. You’re very wrong.
Interesting fact about Kyle Field: none of the four corners of the stadium are alike.
OH MY GOD, WHO THE HELL CARES?-UT
it can also fit 110,000
I would love to see a new updated list of the rankings for the AAC conference similar to this one. 😊
Besides your placement of Arkansas and Neyland, this is pretty good. Those two were robbed
Thank you. It's nice seeing people on here speak up for Neyland. The new renovations are great.
Can you please do Mountain west conference basketball arenas? It would make my day.
Yeah but it’s small and open ended, doesn’t make for a great vibe
@@bretmarks What??? Sanford Stadium is small??? It's 93K seats, dumbass.
And it doesn't have a great vibe??? You have no idea what you're talking about.
ruclips.net/video/ZMnPvy7E2GA/видео.html
@@bretmarks 93k isn’t small, and being open to the bridge and campus improves the vibe even if it lets some sound escape
Have you ever done a video on the Arenas of the ECHL?
I am an Auburn alum, but I have to say Georgia's stadium was my favorite away stadium and experience.
Glad we could treat you to a nice Saturday in Athens! ❤️🖤😁
Good luck with the rest of the seasons Tigers.
Neyland stadium should be higher on here. At least top 4.
The fact that u have AU behind two freaking schools that aren't even a part of the sec yet is a slap in the face. Arguably one of the greatest atmospheres in cfb, from big games, to rival fan experiences. I can tell that whoever ranked this list has no real knowledge of sec football.
Neyland Stadium is also full of administrative and faculty offices. Yes, inside the stadium structure itself. So its not just a stadium, but part of the education part of the college. And you made a queen joke....bruh, she's dead.
Will you be doing a video on the WAC football stadiums? I believe that’s the only FCS conference you’ve yet to cover.
College football is basically a religion in the SEC. So you are literally disparaging adherents temples when you criticize these stadiums. Not placing Neyland at number 1 may have people looking for your head. Lol, thanks for sharing though.
Ask bam bam if Neyland should be#7
Poor Vanderbilt, they can't do anything right. As a Kentucky fan, I honestly hope they win an SEC Championship someday.
Uhm. They have an amazing baseball team
You should rank the big 10 football stadiums next
💯
Watch Tennessee beat Florida and storm the field. Nothing like Neyland stadium
Since you included Texas and Oklahoma early, you should have also included MBS Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Jerry’s World. SEC Championship, Florida/Georgia, Arkansas/TAMU
You can’t disrespect People’s intelligence because a last name is pronounced differently than how you perceive it.
Vandy plays in a concrete coffin and Ole Miss has got to have one of the ugliest and most disjointed venues in all of college football.
I’m a big Georgia fan but Tennessees stadium is top notch. And hey at least Georgia got the number 2 spot I’ll take it.
Go Dawgs
The fact that you have Neyland stadium at 7 is an absolute freaking joke. Like laughable. It's not even that low in the whole country 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
You did a good job. And those hedges are there to keep patrons from getting to the field.
The hedges are there because they were inspired by the roses around the field at the Rose Bowl stadium. The hedges did not keep patrons from the field but the chain link fence incorporated into the hedges does a nice job of it.
@@beaujac311 LOL, its actually there to keep Auburn fans from ever ripping them up again...
Neyland is the best with the Vol Navy and the new beverage bar.
Neyland Stadium is a dump.
re rank Tennessee. they have one of the best atmospheres in the conference. check out last week's game for example
Neyland Stadium is a dump.
LSU being #4 makes sense but the experience being there makes it #1
GEAUX TIGUHS
You definitely got #1 right. Kyle Field is an absolute palace. Even the interior corridors are clean and easy to navigate. Also it's hard to see in photos but the stadium seating is built in a very vertical way that puts even the highest seats relatively close to the field.
Too bad A&M can't find a coach to make any of it worth attending.
@@haroldfarquad6886 yaaaa the right coach would put A&M's average attendance at 102,000 instead of 100,500.
What a brain dead comment
@@haroldfarquad6886 😡 don’t remind us
Kyle field is pretty nice, not #1 though.
@@greenwave819 I've been to every SEC stadium for a game. As a stadium Kyle Field is definitely #1. You cans argue maybe LSU has a better environment but that's a big maybe and it very game specific.
How is Neyland at the #7 spot?
University of Kentucky's stadium is named Commonwealth Stadium. Kroger bought the name of the field, not the stadium. The correct name is Kroger Field at Commonwealth Stadium. I have sent this correction before and got a response, but yet here we are with wrong name again.
YESSS!!! Time to finish the NCAA Conferences!!!
You should do the C-USA ranking stadiums, including the 4 new teams
This^ and the new Big 12!
Absolutely perfect list! Gig 'em
I'd like to see your ranking of every conference.. P5 and G5...
Good 👍 video keep up the great work .👍😁
UK easily has the nicest stadium.
Neyland at 7? Try actually going to a game, then reevaluate.
coming from a bama alum/fan since i was born, neyland definitely needs to be higher on the list. they’ve had one of the best stadiums for a long long time
I was not ready for Oklahoma or Texas on this list
Bryant-Denny used to be so bad. But this century has seen some pretty great upgrades. I think the north end zone exterior is the best. I would think that part is pretty inspiring…apart from that I agree with you
almost like our team in general post-bear
Oklahoma and Texas aren’t in the SEC (technically)
.....yet.......
Kingdom of Vlogs:. He knows that. If you look under the title of this video in the video it says including Texas and Oklahoma who will be joining soon.
Since you are already adding Texas and Oklahoma, I would be cool to add other future conferences Big 10 and Big 12. Also the Sunbelt because they changed this year.
Don’t forget to mention the new Moo’terus in the south end zone.
Texas A&M has the best fans in the nation and the best stadium, too bad we usually don't have the team results (usually) that we deserve. Great video.
Ask bama where they would rank Neyland 🤣🤣🤣
kyle field does`nt need chairback-seats because its a tradition there that all the crowd stand all game long
Man for Mississippi State, should’ve included the deafening sounds of the cowbells.
I think it’s cuz he’s not American so he wasn’t aware that it wasn’t into effect yet
@@unclelousdrywallguy676 still incredible job with this!
@@unclelousdrywallguy676 I think he knows that it's not in effect yet because at the beginning he writes "including Oklahoma and Texas who will be joining soon." It was just his choice to add theirs in there as it is only a year or two away.

Neyland Stadium is a dump.
No joke this video was made on my birthday!!
Yeah Auburn might have hedges, but who remembers those? One of Georgia's phrases is "through the hedges." That's one of our cool features. A thing Georgia and it's stadium is well known for.
I am upset we weren't ranked #1 because there's nothing like Saturday in Athens, but dude I was just so excited we beat out Bama again. This time in best stadium rankings as well as AP Top 25 rankings
I really did forget about A&M though... I was so happy to hear us ranked top 2, but at the same time I was like uh who could #1 be if not us? I can't think of a team that hasn't been said yet 🤷♀️
🤣 Then A&M popped up, and I went ohhh right. They haven't been mentioned yet.
I'm a South Carolina fan but I think the saying is "Between the Hedges", and I'm surprised you're ranked 2. South Carolina's stadium, Neyland Stadium are much nicer than Athens.
It's "Between the hedges" not "through the hedges".
@@williamwilkinson4756 Sanford is a dump as far as fan experience. It may look nice, but I've been to Willy-Brice and agree. It's head and shoulders above Sanford Stadium. So is Bryant-Denny. So is Tiger Stadium. So is Jordan-Hare. So is Neyland. Sanford at 2 is a joke.

I think Neyland Stadium should be 1 or 2. It has a great view of the Knoxville Skyline and the outside is modern. It once sat over 107,000 and the largest in all of college football but built press boxes on opposite sides reducing seating by 5,000. It still holds 103,000.
I mean to be fair UT (Texas) has an outstanding view of downtown Austin and it’s skyline also. While also having 100k+.
Neyland Stadium is a dump.
Can someone explain to me why there are seat back chairs mixed in with benches
Most of these stadiums were built before the 1950's when bench seating was the norm. Many of these stadiums you see with seat backs the seat backs are not permanent.
@@beaujac311 Those are season ticket holder seats. If you want a seat back at UGA, you can rent one. Student sections dont get them cause they are always standing up and usually leave the game early to get to the bars.
@@firechicken2011 I've noticed that there are more now spread across the whole stadium. I used to see them more in the lower section midfield.
Was this first clip of Austin texas foreshadowing??
I have been to every stadium in our conference, and even though it’s my home stadium, Neyland Stadium has to be 1 or 2. To say it’s not means you e never experienced it, and it shows. Neyland Stadium is a dump. People hate Neyland because they have to dodge golf balls and mustard bottles.
Most fans @ Vandy’s stadium are fans from the opposing teams. Attended the first Music City Bowl & was absolutely miserable w/snow flurries & sleet. Neyland stadium used to have the ‘Body Farm’ underneath, donated dead bodies used in teaching forensic students @ crime scenes.
That's a little dramatic. It used to have the Anthropology department based there.
The Body farm is still at UT. It was never at the stadium. Anthropology was
All Texas teams need to be in a lone star conference. Immediately would be one of the top conferences
The Southwest conference was basically that plus Arkansas. SWC merged with the big 8 to make the big 12 in the 90s
@@govakgreatness864 The SWC disbanded, and the Texas legislature forced A&M, Baylor, and Texas Tech to join the Big 8 with texas (who was the only one that both wanted to join, and was desired by the conference).
