I absolutely love the idea of the Meprolight Ft bullseye on sub compacts being it completely eliminates the issue of a shorter sight radius similarly to a red dot without having to have a milled slide and custom holster. I think the Meprolight Bullseye + the LaserMax guide rod would be a pretty functional setup without any real drawbacks aside from price point.

Agreed, dk if I'm getting a glock 47 but the first updlgrade I wanna do is get either the 3 dot sights or the cup and ball night sights. @@Juneipurr I used the Glock 3 dot night sights for years, and never really liked them because they are pretty dim, and the white outlines are really dull. I'll only be getting the standard ball in basket from now on. I always carry a torch in my pocket.

I use Warren Tactical fiber optic front and rear in blacken my Glock awesome. I put the same front sight on my Gx4 and left the rear factory, really like it.
sorry, but Meprolight Bullseye is basically sh.t. Great idea, loved it. But there's a fatal flow - windage cannot be corrected. There's no front sight to drift against, so you get what you get. I've had three, sent two back to Meprolight (at my expense) and threw away the 3rd. If your rear cut is *exactly* right, and the sight is *exactly* right, then all is fine. But they rarely are. With usual sighting systems, manufacturers don't have to make the rear cut exact, so they don't. The Bullseye sight itself is built of long plastic tubes, and they too are rarely exact. So more often than not, the sight points to one side, and 2" at 5 yards become 4" at 10, and 20 at 50.
Windage wont matter in self defense my man. Unless you are shooting 25-35 yards.. these are up close and personal sights like 98% of self defense encounter being within 21 feet or 7 yards.

They have U shaped rear sights as well as square shaped ones. They also have a very unique Accur8 sight where to have your sights lined up you make a figure 8 with the front dot and one rear dot, never tried it but seems like it would be super quick to get sighted in. Rear sight comes in a few choices of white dot, black dot, blank. Definitely check them out if you are looking, they are pricey, but you get what you pay for. Obviously it’s users choice, so go with whatever you like.
