Shockwave Particle effect
Hey guys, here's a tutorial on creating a shockwave particle effect in 3ds max without using FumeFX. It's rather simple but you can experiment to create some rather good effects.
Enjoy!

that was amazing but i have a better idea if you could add actual gravity to the cylinder and make the particles a little smaller and increasing the frames alot so it would look slow-mo and then releasing that video it would look pretty epic! , also the shadows were actually really good :)
+Gamix Hey thanks. I actually plan on using forces such as gravity in later tutorials.
Hi! Do you have a tutorial about sound. I'm having trouble in getting the sound in the avi. The max has sound, but after rendering, the sound is missing... Thank you!
