- Need help with your tuck up to handstand? The tuck position is often such a new shape for us whilst inverted that it feels so alien to our brains we can't figure it out. It's actually an easier shape to maintain balance as the legs are not as part away from your base of support so once you get the position feeling a little more normal and 'downloaded' to your brains 'hard disk' or movement options for you then you'll start to feel the balance much easier.

Thank you! From all the tuck jump to handstand tutorials I watched this one tip about rotation to open the shoulders and letting head come through was the only one that made a click for me in the brain. Very helpful!
Life changing, it finally clicked how my gaze was blocking the rotation!
So glad it helps!!! Keep us updated with your progress - Jacko
I did it! I did it! I did it! Thank you for this video!!! I have been struggling with this for a while!
Great tips!! I like the one about kicking up then sliding the wall to feel what the tuck up should be
Yes its a great way to 'find' the tuck position at thet start as jumping straight into the tuck when its a new or 'alien' position can eb tough. Glad it help, need any other help jsut ask - Jacko (my personal email is david@schoolofcalisthenics.com if you have any questions)
@@SchoolofCalisthenics I really have to work on getting my feet into the tuck position. It's not easy by any means!!
@@MariaDoll Kicking up in normal wall handstand and then sliding feet down the wall to tuck can really help. Have you seen our full week by week programme for it? classroom.schoolofcalisthenics.com/course/handstand
Good job brothers !!! Keep going ...
Loved it🤘
Very good
Really helpful. Thanks so much.
thanks for another helpful vid!
Very nice 👍
nice video bro
Its weird I can't do kickup with ease and can do tuck up easily. Is it ok to to tuck up rather than kick up ?
Yes definitely, I think it's easier to find balance from tuck ups
Looks like he is jumping with one foot a tiny bit before the second foot.loke a micro kick handstand. Don't both feet need to jump at the same time?
Thank you! 😊 Can't touch the wall with my butt, only with my feet.... Am I not rotating enough or is it mobility? Or maybe both
he didn't do it🤣
