That's what the next part of Super is, rather than everyone having the same form like Super Saiyan, they've all taken different paths. Piccolo through Shenron to achieve his Orange Piccolo, Gohan through his Mystic form to achieve Beast, Vegeta through his Ultra Ego, Goku through Ultra Instinct, and Broly through legendary Super Saiyan. Something I think that's important to remember is that Goku, Vegeta and Gohan realistically had to achieve more by themselves than the rest of the Saiyans. Either achieving SSJ or SSJ2 by themselves. Once they figured it out, it's easier to pass down the knowledge. They had no guide initially. Goten and Trunks both had living figures that could teach them.
My interpretation has always been that Goku had it the hardest to become a SS because he basically rediscovered a lost ancient technique. Once he broke that barrier it became easier for others to transform since they could just observe him.

Kinda weird that gohan didn't go beast at the Tournament of Power. His entire universe and the universe of many others were on the line. He's not just a guy who cares about his friends, he seems himself as a literal superhero who is responsible for the safety of his fellow man.
Because he didn't train enough then..my man just got his mojo back just before the tournament..and since then he never stopped training (according to Super Hero)
He didn't do much training for it that time. It was only after the Tournament of Power that he began setting aside a little time from his day to train. Even this little training was good enough to get Gohan back into shape and unlock more of his potential and hidden power.
I think Vegeta has the highest combat IQ As in he could be a great commander of an army or figure out an enemy's fighting style But he is so obsessed with ONLY getting stronger
The main thing that holds Gohan back is all mental, it's why when he loses control he skyrockets to new levels never before seen. It's when we see just a hint of his potential. I could see Toyotarou start taking the manga in a direction where Goku and Vegeta start taking more of a back seat and a Gohan/Broly rivalry starting to take the forefront. Gohan already is starting to show Broly how to control his power, I could absolutely see them play off each other to reach new heights, especially since the source of their power while different is still comparable.
If you take into consideration his mother's background he's basically a legendary human hybrid and that along with his Wife's Dad is why Pan is so strong and has the most potential.

Correction. The intrinsic talent/potential in Vegeta is notably higher than Goku. Proven by the fact that he figures out how to unlock Super Saiyan God without the ritual that Goku got to benefit from...and did so in a relatively short time.
One aspect I feel should be discussed is that Goku is a genius in one very specific way - battle intelligence. He learns battle skills and invents them at the a rate above other characters. His ability to follow and understand opponents battle techniques to find weaknesses is also unparalleled. A lot of this is natural skill going back to OG DragonBall too as how he learned the Kamehameha in one demonstration that took Kame 50 years to do. So yes, physically he isn't at the level of the rest latently, but mentally he's an autistic savant for battle.
But the message is clearly "Nothing beats hard work, determination, and persistence". As Goku rises to defeat them all. Others may have better natural talent and ability, but they'll never be able to beat Goku because he will never stop. They will.

I think the exposure from other saiyan’s strength helps saiyans power up quicker. Almost how it takes centuries before the first computer is created, but now is taught in college
I always figured part of the reason Goten and Trunks were able to transform so much earlier than Gohan is because they were both conceived after their fathers had achieved Super Saiyan and would have been exposed to it earlier (through Vegeta).
All that potential and goku still returns to beat everyone. Work and effort is everything. Gohan is Allen Iverson from basketball. Star talent from birth, and super huge potential, but because he never practiced, he isn’t in the same breath as MJ, Kobe or Lebron who trained day and night to get better.

Gohan doesnt push himself like Goku, even when all seems lost he knows his dad has it covered. You only see gohan exceed his father and thats when his dad isnt there and its up to him and Goku CANT help. Gohan can't see his family and loved ones be completely destroyed. He loses his sh*t and hence a new form. You also have to remember he is half human and his emotions are far more potent which gives him a boost too. Gohan could be better than Goku, but why would he want to? He has a loving wife and daughter, he has all he wants.
But after the Tournament of Power, that changed. He started to set aside some time to train and realized that he can't always depend on his father to save the day. Also, he gained back the desire to fight and also satisfy his academic hunger as his new goal in fighting was to explore find an alternate path that did not need to use the emotions and aura of a super saiyan which was what eventually lead to his Beast transformation.
Kale and Broly are hybrids just not with humans. My belief is that they are hybrids of Saiyans and Tuffles. Any color of normal super saiyan that is not yellow/gold is a hybrid. The legendary super saiyan is just a myth for story purposes, it doesn't actually exist. Broly and Kale simply skip to ultra super saiyan without the loss of speed.
Gohan has a perfect form. As in the turnament he doesn't require transformation to figh against blue forms. Thats what Wis was trying to explain to Goku about unnecessary transformations that really weren't that many boost of power. Again Gohan by training with Picolo is the only to reach true power and uses his transformation to multiply or add to his existing power and that's why he doesn't get as exausted in battle as Goku. Now he's new form as always just a glimps of his true power he doesn't need to go through the latter of powerups. And Gohan is the most skilled fighter of the crew based on intelligence and tactics which makes him the top fighter. They just need to develop this story line further as it was developed since the beginning
The whole storyline is messed up because of the fact that this is not Gohan’s natural growth. Normally, he would never be strong this fast he just had his potential unleashed by two beings he should’ve had made contact with. Under normal circumstances, the elder Kai and elder namek wouldn’t have met him and unleashed his potential for him to be this strong
"In the Majin Buu Saga, Gohan showcased his potential AGAIN" By getting absorbed and saved by Goku, Vegeta and Mr Satan of all people. The second he chose college over training, he lost his status as potentially strongest, even with his awakened powers in Super, he's a shadow of Goku's power, Vegeta's power, and even his own GT counterpart that did start training again. I love Gohan, but at this point, calling him strongest because of the one time during the Cell games when he trained seriously is copium in its purest form. You may be able to unlock Super Copium 4 or Super Copium God with it it's so pure.
Forgot to mention that the whole thing about the Legendary Super Saiyans is that they can use the power of the Oozaru without transforming into it (but this is also why they grow so huge even as human form). This stacks with their base power or form. That combined with the other ability which is extreme adaptability and evolution, makes it so their power lvl continuously increases rapidly as they fight. Another thing about Gohan that people miss or forget is that he is that he inherited the ''rage'' part of Chi Chi which is pretty intense. While Goten is quite the opposite. This is why when he gets these outbursts of rage combined with his Saiyan genes it makes him jump exponentially in power. This is why also his Beast Form is so different from the SSB from Goku And Vegeta. It is called Beast because it is literally being fueled by a huge spike in rage, like a beast. It is incredible people miss this even though it's been show cased since DB with Chi Chi, and in every single scenario Gohan evolves in power. It even is a direct joke in the SBD Super Hero movie when Piccolo triggers Gohan on purpose with a planned scenario to abuse the way he increases in power. So while Broly needs to be in combat to grow. Gohan does so in bursts just by being in situations that make him rage.
Dude,ssj1 and 2 are not relevant anymore thats why its easier to unlock now by U6 saiyans compared to kakarot or vegeta who are in anime ssj1 and 2 are just a new trans thats why they are older when they unlocked it than u6 cause ssj1 and 2 is still relevant new trans back then😂
Broly and Gohan have the most potential when it comes to saiyans. Goku and vegeta will always catch up to gohan because they have the true saiyan mindset but gohan can train for a week and surpass them. The cycle continues. Broly is a whole other anomaly. Gohan turned Super sayian at 9 or max 10, it was in the beginning of his training in hyperbolic time chamber. Furthermore, Toriyama already explained why goten and trunks could turn early as ssj (related to them living in a peaceful environement, which make saiyans cells evolve quicker). Also gohan turned SSJ quickly after goku was able to find the existence of the transformation. Goten and trunks knew this transformation exists since they are born, it's different than discovering a transformation (like goku with ssj1 and Gohan with ssj2)
Gohan had his potential unlocked twice. Once from Guru on Namek and elder kai bringing everything out at once, giving him ultimate gohan, so any training done by gogan amplifies his power, hence how he can keep up with anyone at any given time with a little bit of off screen training. Also yes, gohan is confirmed to currently be the strongest of the non-diety figures in dragonball as of the last manga chapter before it went on hiatus after the passing of Akira.
uhhh. You said Cabba has more potential than Gohan because he went from SS1 to SS2 in 1-2 years. Gohan went SS a good portion of the way into his 10 month Hyberbolic Time Chamber Romp, and then was SS2 only a couple days after he left the time chamber. That makes Gohan's SS1-SS2 way way way less than a year. Probably half a year. At a much younger age, after only training for 1 year before the Saiyans arrived and then 3 years before the Androids. Cell is the first character who could stomp Supreme Kai, and Gohan absolutely is able to just obliterate him with ease. I'll be impressed when Goten or Trunks can beat Supreme Kai, that's the threshold where I become impressed. All evidence points towards Goten and Trunks hitting a hard brick wall in terms of power that they can't overcome.
Note: Broly's accomplishments in uncontrolled state also let him Tank Golden Frieza as well for 1 hour minimum with potentially more than an hour, back to back after facing Vegeta and Goku in all their transformations stages, and going toe-to-toe with Gogeta until he ran outta stamina. It's more amazing than even this youtuber describes.
Gohan as a saiyan/human hybrid was not the same as Goten or Trunks. He was born with a tail, they didn't have it. The way he powers up when he rages out is unlike Goku and Vegeta's power up when they rage out. Gohan's was inherited from his mother who got it from the Ox King bloodline. Goten didn't inherit this trait. Plus since the saiyan tail makes it possible to transform into the oozaru and being an oozaru makes one more aggressive and prone to attacking in a complete rage, this was likely combined with what Gohan inherited from his mother allowing Gohan power up far beyond what any normal saiyan or human could do without needing to transform. Just my own personal head canon, but it's more than just being half saiyan and half human. It's what he uniquely inherited from both and how it combined for him that sets him apart from the others.
Can you talk about fan theory with transformation multipliers? There seems to be a misconception that SSJ is a 50x multiplier boost because in Frieza saga Goku became 50x stronger upon transforming. SSJ forms don't seem to be as high a multiplier in later sagas, strongly hinting at it not being a set multiplier.
The reason why the Saiyans from universe six advanced so fast was due to them being taught by Vegeta and Goku similarly to when Goku showed goten and trunks super Saiyan three and then they were able to use it as gotenks not a single saiyan from universe six even knew what super Saiyan was all sayains whether they are half earthling or not have a very high battle IQ and can learn saiyan unique transformations rather quickly, and all of them were helped by either Vegeta or Goku in order to obtain those forms
It's not about 2 pure souls or anything. It's that Gohan actually lived longer with his tail attached. Just like most normal sayains. For the younger ones they cut them off immediately never even allowing them to transform.
I think the one thing most are forgetting about the potential of Super Saiyan and subsequent power levels is that there two types of saiyans: Those who are able to imagine a greater power and those who has seen the proof to achieve it for themselves. Until Goku turned super saiyan it was only considered a legend and after that it was seen as something that can only be achieved through rage (Trunks and Goten proved that there are ways around that) The other universes such as Cabba’s witnessed it learning that there is more potential to their version. So, honestly I would say from a potential stand point it is obvious it’s origins (specifically when you start considering that in future Trunks timeline because of the fact that Goku died there was no additional evolutions for the Saiyan race, half-breed or pure). It’s almost like Demon Slayer where if one person has the mark then the likelihood of all developing it is higher.
Goku said it once, the power comes from a need. Not a desire. Vegeta always only desired the power. Once he became part of the z team, he needed it. He got it.

I've said this before on another video like this but the U6 saiyans and goten/trunks proved that transformation in saiyans seems to be more of a technique than anything and your power level prior to doesnt determine if you can do it or not.
Gohan does have the advantage of being able to tap his full strength without powering up to a stronger form, after training under the elder Kai with the Z sword. He went soft for a while, prior to Resurrection of F, and fell short of his potential for a long time. Even during the tournament of power, he still wasn't as strong as he should have been.

The main thing that holds Gohan back is all mental, it's why when he loses control he skyrockets to new levels never before seen. It's when we see just a hint of his potential.
I could see Toyotarou start taking the manga in a direction where Goku and Vegeta start taking more of a back seat and a Gohan/Broly rivalry starting to take the forefront. Gohan already is starting to show Broly how to control his power, I could absolutely see them play off each other to reach new heights, especially since the source of their power while different is still comparable.
If you take into consideration his mother's background he's basically a legendary human hybrid and that along with his Wife's Dad is why Pan is so strong and has the most potential.

Correction. The intrinsic talent/potential in Vegeta is notably higher than Goku. Proven by the fact that he figures out how to unlock Super Saiyan God without the ritual that Goku got to benefit from...and did so in a relatively short time.

One aspect I feel should be discussed is that Goku is a genius in one very specific way - battle intelligence. He learns battle skills and invents them at the a rate above other characters. His ability to follow and understand opponents battle techniques to find weaknesses is also unparalleled. A lot of this is natural skill going back to OG DragonBall too as how he learned the Kamehameha in one demonstration that took Kame 50 years to do.
So yes, physically he isn't at the level of the rest latently, but mentally he's an autistic savant for battle.
But the message is clearly "Nothing beats hard work, determination, and persistence". As Goku rises to defeat them all. Others may have better natural talent and ability, but they'll never be able to beat Goku because he will never stop. They will.

I always figured part of the reason Goten and Trunks were able to transform so much earlier than Gohan is because they were both conceived after their fathers had achieved Super Saiyan and would have been exposed to it earlier (through Vegeta).
It's the "new kid on the block" treatment. The order is literally in order of introduction, with beast gohan being most recent.
All that potential and goku still returns to beat everyone. Work and effort is everything. Gohan is Allen Iverson from basketball. Gohan doesnt push himself like Goku, even when all seems lost he knows his dad has it covered. You only see gohan exceed his father and thats when his dad isnt there and its up to him and Goku CANT help. Gohan can't see his family and loved ones be completely destroyed. He loses his sh*t and hence a new form. You also have to remember he is half human and his emotions are far more potent which gives him a boost too. Gohan could be better than Goku, but why would he want to? He has a loving wife and daughter, he has all he wants.
But after the Tournament of Power, that changed. He started to set aside some time to train and realized that he can't always depend on his father to save the day. Also, he gained back the desire to fight and also satisfy his academic hunger as his new goal in fighting was to explore find an alternate path that did not need to use the emotions and aura of a super saiyan which was what eventually lead to his Beast transformation.

Kale and Broly are hybrids just not with humans. My belief is that they are hybrids of Saiyans and Tuffles. Any color of normal super saiyan that is not yellow/gold is a hybrid. The legendary super saiyan is just a myth for story purposes, it doesn't actually exist. Broly and Kale simply skip to ultra super saiyan without the loss of speed.
Gohan has a perfect form. As in the turnament he doesn't require transformation to figh against blue forms. Thats what Wis was trying to explain to Goku about unnecessary transformations that really weren't that many boost of power. Again Gohan by training with Picolo is the only to reach true power and uses his transformation to multiply or add to his existing power and that's why he doesn't get as exausted in battle as Goku. Now he's new form as always just a glimps of his true power he doesn't need to go through the latter of powerups. And Gohan is the most skilled fighter of the crew based on intelligence and tactics which makes him the top fighter. They just need to develop this story line further as it was developed since the beginning
The whole storyline is messed up because of the fact that this is not Gohan’s natural growth. Normally, he would never be strong this fast he just had his potential unleashed by two beings he should’ve had made contact with. Under normal circumstances, the elder Kai and elder namek wouldn’t have met him and unleashed his potential for him to be this strong

Forgot to mention that the whole thing about the Legendary Super Saiyans is that they can use the power of the Oozaru without transforming into it (but this is also why they grow so huge even as human form). This stacks with their base power or form. That combined with the other ability which is extreme adaptability and evolution, makes it so their power lvl continuously increases rapidly as they fight.
Another thing about Gohan that people miss or forget is that he is that he inherited the ''rage'' part of Chi Chi which is pretty intense. While Goten is quite the opposite. This is why when he gets these outbursts of rage combined with his Saiyan genes it makes him jump exponentially in power. This is why also his Beast Form is so different from the SSB from Goku And Vegeta. It is called Beast because it is literally being fueled by a huge spike in rage, like a beast. It is incredible people miss this even though it's been show cased since DB with Chi Chi, and in every single scenario Gohan evolves in power. It even is a direct joke in the SBD Super Hero movie when Piccolo triggers Gohan on purpose with a planned scenario to abuse the way he increases in power.
So while Broly needs to be in combat to grow. Gohan does so in bursts just by being in situations that make him rage.

Gohan turned Super sayian at 9 or max 10, it was in the beginning of his training in hyperbolic time chamber. Furthermore, Toriyama already explained why goten and trunks could turn early as ssj (related to them living in a peaceful environement, which make saiyans cells evolve quicker). Also gohan turned SSJ quickly after goku was able to find the existence of the transformation. Goten and trunks knew this transformation exists since they are born, it's different than discovering a transformation (like goku with ssj1 and Gohan with ssj2)

Once from Guru on Namek and elder kai bringing everything out at once, giving him ultimate gohan, so any training done by gogan amplifies his power, hence how he can keep up with anyone at any given time with a little bit of off screen training. Also yes, gohan is confirmed to currently be the strongest of the non-diety figures in dragonball as of the last manga chapter before it went on hiatus after the passing of Akira.

Gohan went SS a good portion of the way into his 10 month Hyberbolic Time Chamber Romp, and then was SS2 only a couple days after he left the time chamber. That makes Gohan's SS1-SS2 way way way less than a year. Probably half a year. At a much younger age, after only training for 1 year before the Saiyans arrived and then 3 years before the Androids.
Cell is the first character who could stomp Supreme Kai, and Gohan absolutely is able to just obliterate him with ease. I'll be impressed when Goten or Trunks can beat Supreme Kai, that's the threshold where I become impressed. All evidence points towards Goten and Trunks hitting a hard brick wall in terms of power that they can't overcome.

Gohan as a saiyan/human hybrid was not the same as Goten or Trunks. He was born with a tail, they didn't have it. The way he powers up when he rages out is unlike Goku and Vegeta's power up when they rage out. Gohan's was inherited from his mother who got it from the Ox King bloodline. Goten didn't inherit this trait. Plus since the saiyan tail makes it possible to transform into the oozaru and being an oozaru makes one more aggressive and prone to attacking in a complete rage, this was likely combined with what Gohan inherited from his mother allowing Gohan power up far beyond what any normal saiyan or human could do without needing to transform.
Just my own personal head canon, but it's more than just being half saiyan and half human. It's what he uniquely inherited from both and how it combined for him that sets him apart from the others.

There seems to be a misconception that SSJ is a 50x multiplier boost because in Frieza saga Goku became 50x stronger upon transforming. SSJ forms don't seem to be as high a multiplier in later sagas, strongly hinting at it not being a set multiplier.
The reason why the Saiyans from universe six advanced so fast was due to them being taught by Vegeta and Goku similarly to when Goku showed goten and trunks super Saiyan three and then they were able to use it as gotenks not a single saiyan from universe six even knew what super Saiyan was all sayains whether they are half earthling or not have a very high battle IQ and can learn saiyan unique transformations rather quickly, and all of them were helped by either Vegeta or Goku in order to obtain those forms
Broly is his only true rival because 2 powerful beast can go toe to toe with one another without stopping
It's not about 2 pure souls or anything. It's that Gohan actually lived longer with his tail attached. Just like most normal sayains. For the younger ones they cut them off immediately never even allowing them to transform.
I think the one thing most are forgetting about the potential of Super Saiyan and subsequent power levels is that there two types of saiyans: Those who are able to imagine a greater power and those who has seen the proof to achieve it for themselves. Until Goku turned super saiyan it was only considered a legend and after that it was seen as something that can only be achieved through rage (Trunks and Goten proved that there are ways around that) The other universes such as Cabba’s witnessed it learning that there is more potential to their version.
So, honestly I would say from a potential stand point it is obvious it’s origins (specifically when you start considering that in future Trunks timeline because of the fact that Goku died there was no additional evolutions for the Saiyan race, half-breed or pure). It’s almost like Demon Slayer where if one person has the mark then the likelihood of all developing it is higher.

I've said this before on another video like this but the U6 saiyans and goten/trunks proved that transformation in saiyans seems to be more of a technique than anything and your power level prior to doesnt determine if you can do it or not.
Gohan does have the advantage of being able to tap his full strength without powering up to a stronger form, after training under the elder Kai with the Z sword. He went soft for a while, prior to Resurrection of F, and fell short of his potential for a long time. Even during the tournament of power, he still wasn't as strong as he should have been.
