Thank you for making these videos. They plug a hole in what Toyota should have produced, but hasn't. I, for one, prefer the videos that are more in depth. Your 35 minute video on the non-Prime 2024 Rav4 XSE had additional and highly useful information.
Thank you Brian for this excellent video. I appreciate it so much. The dealer just gave me te car keys and waved bye. I had to guess what each button did because i lost te instruction manual and all.
So well done. I have a 2023 and love it. With regard to the center console buttons, pushing and holding the charging button on the right automatically charges the battery as I drive.
Thanks, just traded in our 2021 RAV 4 XSE for a '24 RAV PRIME XSE with premium package. You cut my manual time down to a fraction, tough to drive a vehicle that is more aware than you......much appreciated
I just got a more basic RAV4 LE and even though you explained a different model, I found this very helpful in your pacing, organization, and in your easy to follow explanations. As someone else commented below, even though I was given a thorough explanation upon delivery, It was too much new information to recall and use while driving. I'll definitely be returning to this video as I get to know my new car.
Just fyi you had some minor flubs on the EV mode buttons. Auto EV/HV moves from the default EV to the auto mode where it still rides like an EV mostly but will kick on the engine when more power is needed. It doesn’t switch to a hybrid to keep the charge. It will use your battery basically like EV mode. The second button with a normal press switches between fixed ev and fixed hybrid basically like you said, except it’s just a quick normal press. When you hold it though it switches to “charge” mode where it will run you engine at a higher engine RPM than needed and run your car off the engine only, until the battery hits 80%. Then it’s just like normal HV mode. Good if you want your car to have EV miles for camping or if you want to use them in a city coming up while you’re on a trip.
We just drove our rav4 prime home from the dealership last night. Glad we found this info it's very helpful. Question re running in EV mode only: If you are trying to run in EV mode only but it cold outside, will the car turn on the engine to heat it up so the car can produce heat for the heat/AC system?
Thank you Brian🫶 I just got this model a few weeks ago! Even though the dealer went through everything thoroughly I am glad I found you because I can reference each step over and over on the things I am still unfamiliar with. Thank you so much!! Ps is this the black interior? It looked more gray but it may be the lighting🤍
My old 2016 Rav4 Hybrid Limited was automatically gas/electric; it decided on its own and I preferred it that way. Would you suggest I tap that "AUTO EV/HV" button all the time?
Great efforts Brian your contents are absolutely fantastic and your way of reviewing & tutorials are standard 👌 Keep it up man, hope to see you in the next review. Huge greetings from Egypt Egypt 🇪🇬 Peace ✌️

Do you have a video like this for the RAV 4 XSE Hybrid with the technology package?
Just bought one! This video was extremely useful. I've watched it twice now.
Great to hear! Congrats!
Thank you for this tutorial... getting a prime xse at the end of the month, my first new car ever and replacing my 20 yr old golf... I'm excited 😆
Nice! I had a GTI loved it!

Watching this now because we just got our new 2024 Rav4 Prime XSE Premium on the 4th of July! We are loving it so far!
Congrats thanks for tuning in!

Glad I could help!
VERY informative and comprehensive RAV4 Prime video... one of the best I've seen. Thanks!!
Thanks so much!
I would love to one day get this, but for now, I’m very happy with my 2022 Rav4 Hybrid.
All good things come in time 🙏🏼

Thank you for diving into this for me I appreciate the knowledge!

The car should run in EV mode as long as it can, however I am not aware of a hvac demand overriding the EV mode. I could be wrong.

Thanks for watching! Congrats on your car. This is the black interior.
Very nice quick start video
Thanks

Depends on if you want the car to be recharging the battery or not at that moment
RAV4 XLE Premium tutorial please. Not hybrid or prime. Had the car 24 hours and I’m overwhelmed with so many choices. Thank you.

This 23 video applies to the 24 enjoy
Concise! Loved that. Thanks. 😎
Thanks for watching!
I wonder whether 2024 Prime XSE Premium package has "the motorized power mirrors". Thanks
No motorized folding mirrors
Is the 2024 settings the same as the 2023 XSE Model?
Yes basically identical
Maybe I missed but can you get power folding mirrors?
Not on this model
