- Опубликовано: 1 окт 2020
- one of the best hybrid bicycles out there. retail is $600 and it comes with full shimano group set, the bicycle is amazing bike for commuting and also for performance it is great if you want to use it for exercise.
Let me know if you have any questions on this model and if you would like to see comparisons of this bike model in the future. :))
I rode a Sirrus for 3 years when I lived in NY. Really good fitness bike. I am getting 2 of those bikes for my daughters next year.
very cool!!!! thats awesome, and yes the bikes are stil amazing bikes to ride
Thank God for the blood flow for us males on this bike. Kudos
Been trying to buy one, but they've been sold out. My cousin has a similar older model and I loved it. He still has it, we just not roommates. These days. LOL
Now I gotta get my own.
Nice bike! Good to see something that's not expensive. I'm thinking about getting a bike like this, to ride the gravel trail, right across the street from my house. Keep them coming, you're winning fans!
Thanks so much!! But actually specialized just raised the price to $700 so keep thag in mind
Looking to buy one of these, are they ok on gravel trails?
I have the exact bike and loving it. Been putting miles on it regularly and so far it’s been smooth, the only part I replaced is the pedal but overall a really good affordable hybrid.
thats awesome thanks for the info, and yea the pedals are known to going bad quick they have play in the axels so then just get a nice set and you should be good to go
Yeah just got mine thinking im gonna do the same
My man staying true to his word. Thank you!
Lol I got you😁😁
Seeing how they use 8 speed in the back, it might be best for these brands to just switch to 1x. It might be the best option for rental fleets too. A 1x11 setup is very easy for anyone to operate, fairly light, simple, cheap, I see it coming soon.
Other than weight that's a great bike for most.
Yea it would be nice, but I think for this model they are running 2x on all there bikes for the reason of wider gear range. All the sirrus x are running 1x now
2x8 is probably only 11 or maybe 12 usable gears. 2x11 is only 15. So as far as range I think a 1x11 would be fine. And for most people a smaller chainring with an 11 is fine, they're not racers.
Great item very Portable and easy to clean.
YO! this the same bike i sold my friend . AWESOME !!! a better value than the 3.0 imo.. i share your vids on facebook .. real honest reviews!
Thanks so much for the support I appreciate it😁😁
I have been riding my sirrus since 2009 and unfortunately the frame is damaged (my fault) so I’m looking into replacing the old model to this one. Checking all different brands I came to the conclusion that a specialized bike can only be replaced by Specialized. I love it. In the last year and a half I cycled over 5000km and this bike is fantastic
That is awesome, these bikes are really well made and will ride for long time
got it in black (M). drove 2 states to get it. so far so good. $750 now
How tall are you?
@@kennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn1242 5'8" fits like a glove
I have one in the same colour , great bike to ride and looks stunning too.
yes this bike is really nice deal unfortunatly they are going to raise the price on this model
Would pot holes deform the wheel, tire or fork on this thing?
Now this is a great bike 👌🏾
Yes indeed
Great bike for someone looking to get some fitness in !
😁😁
That looks like a nice bike.
I bought a very similar looking Sirrus back in 2015. It looked like a really nice bike, but I only rode it a few times and never really took to it. Eventually I sold it. This spring I bought a Trek FX 1, which on paper at least is a lot like the Sirrus. I don’t know why, but the Trek rides a lot better. I wonder what the difference is? Both are aluminum fitness hybrids, similarly spec’d out. I’m happy, but if my Sirrus had worked out it would have saved me money.
Great review, I’m stuck between a cross trail sport or comp or sirrus 2.0 x , seen the 3.0 x , live in Chicago & I ride year long
I should have the sirrus x 2.0 coming in too
I’d love to see a 3.0 review please. Just ordered one for the wife. Would like all the input I can get. Thanks!
Okay lemme see if I can get one
Hi, Can you adjust the handle bar on that model to make it more upright?
ytou can you just have to buy an extra piece its called a handlebar stem extender..... and you can raise it alot but sometimes you need to replace the cabels depending on the bike
Can you add fenders and back rack
Hi ..were can I purchase this bike...were to look at this price
Can you show us the reflectivity effect? Maybe with some interior pictures using a flash
Yea I can probably make that happen
It's really fantastic. Makes a HUGE difference when it's dark out. I'm a big fan of having hidden reflectivity anywhere possible. I love how the tires have it too.
Is the front brake on the right side? I thought North America had right side = rear brake?
lmao you caught that..... yea for some reason specialized shipped this one out with the brakes swapped and already ran so I have to order new hardware to swap the lines... specialized always doing me right lol
I would really like to see how the 2.0 2021 model compared to the 3.0 2021 model and also what I should consider when choosing between the X gravel and this hybrid model.
okay lemme see if I can do something like that
Is this bike still available at this price
Sickkkk
Sick with it
hey boss, any idea how to get the Sirrus 3.0 in Canada?
shiitttt you just gotta eep calling and get lucky lol.... give your name and number to the stores
Would this bike be good for light trails and gravel? Not mountain trails
very light gravel you might have to change the tires
See a lot of these out on my rides!
Yea it’s An amazing bike for the money and a perfect hybrid for chill rides or also fitness workouts
GC Performance if I went with one it would have to be an X
I was thinking the stripe on the tires were reflective also
I think on some models I have seen some come with them and some come without them
Can this bike handle some off roaring. Made gravel and dirt
I would go for X model if you wanted that
How does this compare to the giant escape 3
I have not seen the giant in person so I can not speak on that
I F I N A L L Y GOT MINE LOL AFTER 9 MONTHS BUT I LOVE IT
congratulations!!!!
Is this faster than sirrus x 2.0 ? I can’t decide which one to get... ?
This would be faster but the x2.0 would be more all around bike
@@GCPerformance18 thanks, I just ordered the X version 2.0 today, it will be ready by Wednesday next week , it’s out of stock here in Santa Clara, California...
@@bonvaicu how’s the bike so far?
@@itscloud650 it runs great, no issues
I got the 3.0 it’s the best bike!
very nice!!!!! I am happy you like the bike!!
Is this bike good for a longer rides like 100km? thanks!
its a hevaier bike for sure and can be done but its going to be a heavy bike, but I know people who ride these on 100k bike rides, obvi there are nicer choices out there but for the money this a nice option
@@GCPerformance18 Thank you. I am thinking of buying gravel bike or fitness bike. I prefer flat bars but I am not sure if fitness bike will be as comfortable as gravel for longer rides. Dilemma of a blonde girl hahah
@@TerezT1 I also prefer flat bars, I bought handlebar grips with ends they make the ride a lot better since I have multiple hand positions. I got a brand named Ergon google ergon grips with ends to check them out.
@@damionmandy7978 thank you!
How dose this compare to trek fx 2?
not familar butt his bike performs amazing and you would nto be upset
Difference between the 2.0 and 2.0x?
2.0x has bigger tires with more tread on there for off road capabilities and also more rugged compoinents
I just brought the 2021 sirrus 4.0 full carbon and I love it..coming from a 2021 cannondale quick 3 its alot swifter, lighter, and agile. I plan to swap out the crank to the shimano 105(r7000) 11speed group set with the shimano RS700 flatbar shift levers to make it like the ("impossible to get")6.0 version or even better...😆lol. For some reason Cannondale has been too laid back for the last 3 years with their hybrid frames..cannondale hybrid frames are somewhat boring now..models like GIANT fastroad advance, TREK FX, and SPECIALIZED sirrus frames have been so fierce, sleek looking, and modern for a few years now. I had to take a 2.5 hour trip from N.Y. to Massachusetts just to get the 4.0 sirrus in a XL and in sliver or lilac..everywhere in N.Y. is sold out or on back order till May of 2021...smh
thats crazy drive, but hopefully its gonna be so worth it when you get it :)) awesome choice on the bike!!!
Yo any ideas where I can grab the L 4.0 in silver? That is literally one of the sexiest looking bikes I've seen and I'm on a mission to get it!
@@kpco5587 omg..the 4.0 sirrus is so hard to find nowadays..to me it does look sleeker than the 4.0x and 5.0..a friend of mine got a hold of the 2020 Green Carbon 5.0x which was very hard to find..the 2020/21 silver 4.0 and the 2020 green 5.0 have a satin/matte finish that makes them look so stealth..Im not a fan of the gloss colors..I know for a fact that Masters bike in Manhattan NY has the 2020 blue/lime green and the 2021 blue/gray 5.0x in alot of sizes..Roys bikes on coney island Ave in Brooklyn NY also has alot of sirrus come in back to back..call both places to find out..where are you located??? I'll help you find the sliver 4.0 sirrus..the lilac is very sleek too..the specialized website pics do no justice. In person it's not so girly..lol
@@LOGICAL-JAY DUDE I got the x 3 in silver and then a few weeks later, Roy stocks up on the 4. My impulses got the best of me lul
@@kpco5587 was this recent??? Or last year???
Trying to compare this vs giant 4 disc
I would go specialized all day but I am also biased lol
I’m 6ft 200lbs, what size should I get?
I would say large but depends on how your body is layed out more legs or torso
Go to the Specialized website. 3 easy measurements and you’ll get a rough idea.
The price went up to around $750, would this still be one of the top performance hybrid for money in your opinion
yea I know they raised the price twice on this bike, but it is still an amazoing buy for the money and will perform amazing
Niceeeee
thanks!!!
Which is better? Sirrus 2.0 or sirrus x 2.0??
depends on the terrain you want to ride, the X is more versatile on the terrain rides you can do and take it off roa dmore like gravel trails where as the the regular 2.0 is faster and lighter but a little more limited on going off road
@@GCPerformance18 could you still go like fairly fast on the x 2.0?
Do you have one of these in this color
Yes I do :))
@@GCPerformance18 where are you located
I would like one do you have an address phone number
Send me an email gcperformanceyt@gmail.com
@@GCPerformance18 okay I'll give it a try I'd like to buy one of these
Where can I find it. ??
they are very impossible to find
I'm dream to have a road bike experience a long ride but don't have bike
I understand but it’s a very nice bike
Got any in stock?
I do not I am sorry
I’m enjoying the bike so far ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
I'm from Philippines
Very nice, I’m from America.
@@GCPerformance18 the price of the bike in the Philippines is 30k that's why can't afford it the roads bike
Is this bike made in the usa?
no, not a lot of bikes are anymore
This bike is $700 on the Specialized website.
damn they might have raised this bike price too it was 600
@@GCPerformance18 I bought this bike in black and love it. It's versatile and part of my effort to get out and not go cuckoo during the lockdown.
750 now
@@GCPerformance18 This bike is $770 at my LBS. Do you think it's worth it at that price? The Trek FX2 is $720 at the same store but they don't have that one in my size. Also considering an REI CTY 1.1 that is only $599.
@@danwright897 which bike did you go with?
Dream to have a road bike but can't afford 😔
Get one of these for now and they work just as well still get An amazing workout

@@GCPerformance18 you give me a bike 🥰🥰🥰😭
Wow 600 bucks, they are 800 bucks here. I would get one in a snap if I could find it for 600 bucks.
yea this vidfeo didnt age very well lol, but at the time I made this video this was the price
Didn’t these just have a recall
The cranks did but not on this model. Not these Shimano cranks
cant help noticng the ugly chain ring crank.1st thing to change maybe even 1x
yea I now
I just buy one from a guy for $60 I didn't know they were that expensive
no lcue how u managed to get it for that price the person must of had just stolen it
@@GCPerformance18 I think so too man
@@GCPerformance18 ill give it to the police
Not keen on quick release, too easy to steal wheels
yea this weas an older model now they come with thru axles for disc rbakes
Do not buy this bike. It sucks. You will constantly be replacing inner tubes and rims.
really? could it be cause of where u are riding?
Worst bike I have ever owned. I had problems when new, and now three years later I am going to throw it away because so many things fell apart on it ! Total garbage, I will never buy a cheap Specialized bike again ! Derailer wobbles side to side and cannot be fixed ! It looks fantastic, but I am going to throw it away because so many things are wrong with it, it is not worth fixing ! Three years of light riding and it is garbage.
