I think peoole tend to overrate leroy since fhe buffs in 1.04. he has really good damage and so many sabakis, and his parry ofc. Yeah he gets really good plus frames from ss1+2 and b3 (both highs), but that's it basically it. He has bad poking cause of his lack of good mids. He basically gives up his turn after using a mid anytime. His biggest weakness is how linear he is. Almost everything is stepable apart from a few moves.
Great video and nice tier list! Honestly, one thing I would change as a Lili main is that I would put her in average. Changing her Volia so that it no longer puts them face down really hurts her oki. She no longer gets a safe feisty rabbit mix up at the wall or after feisty rabbit 3 follow up qcf3 in a combo. She still has great whiff punishment tools and evasion but her offensive pressure has dropped significantly to the point where you’re forced to play her defensively now. Before patch, you could play her either way(offensively or defensively) which gives you a lot more options to play around with but now you don’t have that option anymore. If you want to play her offensively you need to have a really good read on what your opponent is going to do or else you’ll just get hit out of anything you try to do. Not to say I don’t like playing with good fundamentals, I actually prefer it lol but when you’re up against opponents like King or Yoshi you don’t want to be playing defensive against them.
Absolutely. I'm working on a guide for season 1 lili that may help you with that issue, but you're correct. She's much more defensively oriented now, which was how she's been historically. It's just harder to keep up when yoshi can flash any form of offense you try. Qcf3 is worse for wall combo enders but there are new routes like jab + full crouch df1 or qcf21 at the wall that will give you a similar situation. We just gotta lab it out and adapt!

Ravens fullcrouch df3 can be done from standing now, which is huge, but then they nerfed it so its no longer safe from tip range (y?). Still semi safe on block cause of the one frame parry, meaning ur opponenet has to do 2 reads to punish it. But the nerf wasnt neccesary imo. Still think hes kinda weak tho. But full crouch df3 is a super good keepout tool cause it gives 40 on counter hit.
It seems like they want him to be focused around his lows in neutral and/or when he starts mix, but that generally goes against the "aggressive" playstyle since lows are slower and mix is abt mind games. Maybe people just haven't found the optimal way to play him yet. He definitely still has good tools though.
As a jin main i agreed mostly to that you said but how does he run you down in heat when the only thing he has is the useless omen stance and his heat smash which i do admit is the best in the game Jin being THE best in the game when he does not have a functioning heat state is funny

Lee doesn’t have a launching grab only a 1+2 command throw. His slide upon block gives a full launch punish unlike other slides which float. His ff3 also isn’t a demon paw, it shares the amazing range but 0 tracking (honestly thats how it should be). Kazuya’s twin poston definitely better as it doesn’t require heat for a combo. I don’t see him in Strong tier in this tierlist, more of a B than A tbh

They gave King a Mishima dash because he got massively nerfed by the system change. No more tracking throws, they changed the throw window counter from 10 to 14 frames, and the to collapsed floor damage are scaled a lot. Btw his hop kick isn’t good at all, no reach.
@awesomereviews1561 they universally nerfed throws and made it not apply to select throws, majority being king. Outside of just his throw game, he has other oppressive options like ffn2, CHdf2, b3, jag sprint that make fighting him difficult

Still a strong character, but his Jesus Christ moves are gone. The slide vortex is gone and the powercrush is nerfed
