I went to the same spot and on the 4th cast hooked a giant trout! Was honestly surprised by the amount of fish in that pocket! Thanks for the motivation!
@@FishonFishgone i think i figured out a really good trick for this spot, its honestly priceless. really made me enjoy river fishing for the first time. This was my first ever river trout
Hey Costi, thanks for the shoutout. LOL. Looks like we missed running into each other by one day over there. I came by the next day and the fish in there stopped biting. Nice first steelhead of 2020, hopefully many more to come.
@@FishonFishgone Adrian is a wealth of fishing knowledge. One of the many reasons I love RUclips is making new connections and learning from each other!
Cheers bro! Nice first fish of the year, I love how excited you get. I can tell fishing is your passion. Keep the videos coming. I live in Kitchener, maybe sometime we can fish together.
Thank you, fishing it's my thing,to be honest, I have issues sleeping when I know the next day I'm going fishing:) Who knows maybe we'll see each other on the water!
A Fishing Project of course my friend that is sometimes the smartest thing to do where is this spot? I’ve been trying to catch steelhead in Grimsby but haven’t got one yet and I see this video is in Toronto would you be able to tell me where it is? I respect fish and always handle them with care I’m not like most of the a holes who fish down here
@@FishonFishgone No, No, No you got it all wrong, I wasn't asking for the specific creek location I was asking what city this was in. Although you might have assumed that I was asking for the specific creek due to my small head. I should have said " what city is this in? " But I do appreciate your effort to prevent overfishing in that spot
in one hour i would use spinner to cover as much water as possible
I enjoy float fishing more...

2nd cast! I like how you adjusted the camera angle while fighting the fish too. 😂Nice fish buddy.
:))),multi tasking :)))
If I had one hour to fish it would be the Thames River London area (that's where I live). Nice rainbow and nice job with the video my friend!
:))),I’ll have to try that river as well,I never caught a walleye...still working on it:)
@@FishonFishgone I've caught some nice walleye outa there. Plenty of other fishing opportunities as well.
I know you did,I’ve seen the videos:))

A Fishing Project do you know if the steelhead are up in the 40 mile creek yet?
I haven't fished that creek before, did you had good experiences on that creek?
With the cold weather we have had, has this area frozen over since this video was shot?
Unfortunately I can assume that are might be frozen, who know you might find other spots that might not be frozen...
@@FishonFishgone thanks for the reply. Since I don't drive, information like that saves me a 1.5 hour public trans ride :)
I hear you,I’m one hour away as well:)
wow, good fishing, nice catch you did the right choice!!!great
Thanks
What bait were you using. I am planning to go fishing there in February for steelheads.
Hey, I think that day I was using salmon roe,
Now I’m getting used to beads, I didn’t had to much faith in them but now I’m a believer!:)
@@FishonFishgone what bead colour and sizes are your favourite? I'd love to try bead fishing this year.
@@pokemaster1234567899 , I usually use peach for clear water and bright red or green neon for stained waters...
@@FishonFishgone 8mm? thanks for the reply!
@@pokemaster1234567899 I use anything from 4 to 10 mm,

what bait were you using? I might go to the credit this weekend if the weathers good
Hey,I was using cured salmon eggs,I started using them only this year but it was a game changer for me!
@@FishonFishgone Do you use eggs from fish you've caught or do you just buy them?
I used the eggs from a salmon that I’ve caught in the fall
really eh?
that's the best spot
It worked out for me that day:)
Nice vid man! Gained a subscriber here haha
Thank you.
If I had one hour to fish covering as many pools as possible
Good point, but I knew the river was packed with people fishing so I did my best with the given situation!:)

Hey mate, that’s the Credit river, it’s full of good spots, all you have to do it’s go out on the water and explore!
nice fish but you need to tighten up your drag or go heavier leader
Unfortunately for me you’re right,
I need heavier leaver...
And I got a 10 and 12 pounds leader!
Ready!:)
I would do the same as you! You got a new rod?
Nope,same road,new reel:)
Where is this spot?
You will have to go on the water and find the spots that you like,
No spot naming, sorry.
