    Hey costi If you are going there first time there are a bunch of good spots upstream but you need to walk a little bit, you could even drive up a few kilometres and park at a church there’s some good spots for spring

    Nice fish Costi, pressured salmon are tough to get to bite but you sure did a good job of that!

    Amazing video Costi! If you dont mind me asking, do you use any splitshot on your leader? Thanks!

    • @FishonFishgone
      @FishonFishgone  Год назад +1

      I do use one, or two smaller splitshots on the leader to get the bait down faster, but I always try and be mindful of not pinching the leader.

    Nice work, buddy. I have a nice spot that isn't "secret" or hidden either, but no one is ever there. Unfortunately I was only able to get out once today, and they were not running. Hopefully better luck next time.

    Great video Costi! Awesome session on the river before work! You caught some good ones from that pressured area. Your wife throwing you some luck in catching that keeper was priceless lol. Curious... What wireless microphone do you use and what do you think about it? I'm in the market for one.

    • @FishonFishgone
      @FishonFishgone  Год назад +1

      Indeed it was a good couple of hours!
      I just started using Rode wireless Go II.
      It’s good and I like it but it’s a bit expensive…
      There are other cheaper alternatives from Saramonic or Comica.

      Thank you!
      I’m using a Lamiglas Redline HS12CS 6-15lb, Moderate fast action.
      Out of dozens of center pin rods that I’ve held in my hand, this is the one I like the most!
      One rod for both salmon and steelhead.
