Changing the narrative on Detroit: Jackie Victor at TEDxDetroit 2013

To those who think Detroit is closed for business, Avalon International Breads Owner Jackie Victor says think again. Jackie opened her organic bakery in Detroit's Midtown in 1997, said she's seen a lot of changes in the city during the past 17 years and more changes are still to come.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
