@@blockboygames5956 - Exactly. We are keeping the elderly alive (and sick people who are not old) for far too long; I am surprised this took so long. I think that has a lot to do with it. No balance.

“It is almost incomprehensible how much CO2 we are putting into the air, if we don’t stop this within 10 years it will be too late” He said, 8 years ago, that’s how old this was when I saw it. Now, it really is too late and we failed to take the warning seriously, the planet is now moving to change and doing so at a pace.
A movie reviewer once asked, "Why do aliens always destroy New Jersey first?" He was speaking of the Day the Earth Stood Still - the horrible remake with Keanu Reeves.
There is only one universal consciousness which veils itself so not to be by itself. To be more concrete. The meaning of life is love. - Wald Wassermann, Physicist.
Great presentation - I do take issue with the Global warming portion or as he says "runaway greenhouse effect or ecological collapse". First, he had already said that volcanoes are the biggest reason why 98% of species on the planet earth have gone extinct (12:55). Then he says that every major extinction on planet earth has been characterized by rapid increases in CO2. Ah, maybe the rapid increases were due to the major volcanic eruptions that took place that were the major reasons for the extinction events (except for those pesky asteroids). You can't just say it was increases in CO2 that was the cause. Also, even with those vast quantities of C02, up to 5-6 times what we are experiencing now, did not lead to a runaway greenhouse effect. In addition, as he was saying about the geological activity on our planet, that is something that Venus never had. It has no magnetic field or tectonic activity. That is one of the reasons why the CO2 released into its atmosphere was never reabsorbed by the planet. He notes that if temperature rises 1.25 degrees more we will lose control of our weather...then he stops himself. We don't have control of our weather. He then says it will be unpredictable. He then goes on to blend this nebulous runaway greenhouse effect in with ecological collapse - but those two things have different mechanisms. There's a tipping point with the Amazon rainforest, and we are going to reach it, not because we are producing too much CO2 or other greenhouse gases, but because the Brazilians are chopping the Amazon down. But yes, let's continue with the narrative that global warming is the single most devastating threat we face, and let's destroy our economies to stop it, and then the other 7 ways we could extinction will just be unpreventable b/c the economies of the world won't support them. Fire a rocket to intercept an asteroid? The other issue with blending Climate Change with ecological collapse is that everyone (follow the money) is so focused on CC that we aren't improving our ecological management of the planet. The metric is "reduce CO2" as if that tells us anything. Here's a perfect example. The snows on Mt. Kilimanjaro are disappearing. The cause was assumed to be CC. But they aren't melting, they are evaporating. Why? Because on the upwind slope, the trees that use to be there have been cut down. The air now has less moisture so as it rises up to the top of the mountain, the dry air evaporates the snows/glacier. It's not CO2, it's clear cutting forests that is the cause. But hey, let's cut CO2 emissions and nothing else. Many of the glaciers in the Himalayas are under similar threat. Not from CC, but because India burns coal and wood for energy and soot is carried in the atmosphere and settles on the glaciers. They absorb more heat from the sun and the glaciers start to melt at a faster rate. TL;DR - #3 should be ecological collapse, and leave that runaway GH out of it. (One real issue with CO2 is at 600 ppm, we could start seeing impact on human cognitive abilities. But fortunately by the time we get there, we will be all cyborgs, so it won't really matter...)

1. Don't think of us being on a life raft of molten rock. Only ~2% of the Earth's mantle is "liquid"; it's plastic at best.
2. We've found a mineral (not a stone) close enough to the age of our planet. Australian Zircons ~4.4 Gya.

"We lose control of our climate"
We don't control our climate...or do they?
Yes, well ...
"They" control our weather: HAARPP, Cloud Seeding, Cloud Cover, ChemTrails ... WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE!!!
Keep preaching 😊 thanks very much 🎉
