In Magic the Gathering, there's a card named Grave Bramble, which came out in a set with a ton of Zombies, which is a plant with protection from Zombies.
Not technically PVZ, but there's also a card called Genesis Hydra, which was made by George Fan, creator of PVZ.
Worth noting, the artwork of Genesis Hydra depicts a Plant Hydra trampling over some skulls and a zombie arm, a nod to PvZ as well
There’s also The Necrobloom from the MH3 set which makes plants and zombies
You have to do real life references next.
For instance, if you go to Egypt, you can find pyramids in the Cairo area that are *clearly* a reference to the first world in PVZ2.

Once a person told me: go outside and touch some grass. Then when I did I realised it's a reference to PvZ first game. There were also grass and the lawn. Very smart way to intend a reference into a real world!
14:09 to clarify the gatling pea appears in the section of recommended characters where the viewers can submit their characters to the show and this happens in a lot of episodes so it is most likely that this was not intentional by the creators themselves and its just a submission by a random viewer
tbf they still had to actively make a design for the character, since the only thing that you have to provide when recommending a character is its name, so they had to at least get the reference
In Slay the Spire, there is a common relic named "Happy flower" that's a potted sunflower and it gives you 1 energy every 3 turns
Enter the Gungeon's Pea shooter might be a reference because it has a synergy with cactus, and the pea shooter description says "Traditionally given to Gungeoneers when they first arrive at the Gungeon. It is incredibly weak. ". Description is kinda vague given how pea shooter can be a name for any weak weapon

The synergy makes the gun function like Peashooters primary fire in Garden Warfare and the synergy itself is with various plant themed items such as the Cactus, Mahoguny, and Broccoli.

The sentence in 5:00 is a reference to worlds in PvZ 2: Ancient Egypt, Pirate Seas and Wild West
One thing about battle cats that could possibly be a reference is that there's a cat called maize cat that then evolves into cone cat. However the cat doesn't target zombie enemies so it could also just be a coincidence.
Cone Cat is also a pun on how similar "corn" and "cone" sound (especially in Japanese) which further makes it unlikely
The game Nirvana has a zombie event (or maybe it was DLC? I forgot) where you can buy plants to protect yourself from the zombies. I'm surprised the wiki missed that lol

Aside from kingdom rush 1 , ironhide has pvz references in kr vengeance in zombie cemetery tower quotes and in iron marines invasion where we have sunflower units with reference in the description.
The big explicit one with the zombie cemetery tower is "Plants bad..." but it does also say "Braaaains" in a very similar way to how the zombies sometimes do in pvz1

Hi I'm one of those people with the a battle cats pfp: I do really think gardener cat was a coincidence because none of what cat targets what enemy ever like. Actually makes any sense. One of the other ones that fights zombies is a housewife with a laundry pole.

This may not count as it's not official media but I thought I'd mention it as a cute nod, in one of the most expansive mods for the binding of isaac called “fiend folio” in the downpour level it is possible to find a chaser enemy called a gaper with a bucket on it's head and is appropriately called a buckethead (I believe it even makes the same sound the pvz ones when you hit them)
One reference you missed is that in SteamWorld Heist, you can get a Hat in the game called the "Party Pylon", which is a Traffic Cone. Some might say this is a coincidence, but the description for it also claims "This pylon guarantees that nobody will pop a cap in you by mistake." Which clearly references PopCap, the company that made PVZ.
