Sadly this kind of thing seems to run across all airlines these days. I've stopped flying from New Orleans to Niagara just because (considering delays and other expenses,) I can get there in the same amount of time and 1/6th the price if I just drive.

The old Air Canada motto "we are not happy until your unhappy" stands true, I have to fly to Calgary in June, bad enough to have to go to Calgary, let alone flying Air Canada, hope I can get a direct flight and not have to deal with those CCS officials at Pearson, I will tell you the worst thing about flying, is dealing with those people especially if your Canadian in Canada.

I just flew Air Canada yesterday. It wasn't that bad: cancelled (due to computer glitch (Pearson)), then un-cancelled, inevitable gate change, landing in Montreal due to strike in TO, delayed on both departures, middle seat separate from my wife (who also had middle seat). However strangely they forgot to lose the luggage...

Funny! A couple of years ago I was supposed to fly Air Canada from a certain gate. Got there in plenty of time, settled in, then at the last second my name was called on the final boarding call to a gate halfway down the airport. There as No Gate Change Announcement! Needless to say, I missed the flight, got a nonchalant, too bad from the clerk, and was given a totally useless ticket?
Never will I fly Air Canada! Oh, I don’t have a smart phone, so I guess it was my fault.
Happened to me too! At Mtl with 3 kids. Zero responsibility taken, nothing offered and stuck in the airport for hours with cranky tired toddlers. Sooooo much fun. 🙄

I am not really sure they could have. This was on publicly broadcasted television. This is probably pushing the boundaries of what some people might have complained about as is.
Other than that, your material is getting stale. And your promoting people dressing like that, it's no wonder people don't watch CBC anymore.
I usually enjoy 22 Minutes - I get the flying hassle part, the rest leaves me baffled. Is the outfit to highlight some airlines decision to ban women from wearing tights?
Really? I'm an old lady and even I know that's a sadomasochist outfit, worn by people who derive pleasure from either inflicting or receiving pain (usually of a sexual nature but in this case from flying our National Airlines). This guy was a masochist who enjoyed receiving pain so much that flying Air Canada left him ecstatic and begging for more!
I know what the outfit is, I just couldn't connect it to the story - what you say makes perfect sense. I still don't think it's funny.
What did amuse me was being in Germany in the early '80's and seeing people in a nightclubs dressed just like that. I wasn't in the club, we were walking at night when the district changed, became very empty and quiet. This led to one building, no others like it in the area, a club of sorts where people were dressed like that, hanging out windows, maybe a biker bar. We weren't the only surprised people - people in the windows couldn't believe what they were seeing either. They actually pointed at us and laughed. Our clothing absolutely did not blend in with the scenery, it was obvious we were tourists, they left us alone - not that we stuck around. @@lindaj171
