Yes, of course. Having the pad holder initiate attacks, counters and presenting various types of footwork for the puncher/kicker to react to is essential. We just tried to show a few combo's here by isolating the moves with nothing else.
WinspersKickboxing I understand and like what you're doing. Fighting (Striking out grappling.) Is about linking kinetic chains. The less readable your patterns are, the higher your chance is for victory
He's training his kicks higher to make kicking low easier and more effective and powerful. In taekwondo our instructor described this to us, he's probably doing that
Love all these keyboard masters that jump on demonstration videos and critique. Ya'll would get your ass kicked by this guy and you know it. Back to your happy meals, kids
Axe kick as initial move? Wtf! If you do this, the opponent possibly would grab your leg and throw you. This kick es very sloooow, it must be the last move, after doing one or two punches. A strong kick must be done after light moves to prepare the weak side of the opponent. You should guide the oponents arms towards the side that you need to. Sorry about my english, I am not good with it.
These are awesome and very practical drills. I’m so glad I came across your channel, it kicks ass! (You bet that pun was intended 💪🏼🥊)
That axe kick jab cross is awesome!! Was working that today, really cool combo
I like that cross switch kick.
Love your videos
Ótimas sequências
Good video some combos I use,got to have a sidekick in there though lol,
James Miles Side kicks are frowned upon in k1/Muay Thai. Mainly because they leave u open for low kicks
Blessings from Colombia ❤
Nice. Love the axe kick, I can do it but my leg doesn't get completely straight like that. You make it look so easy
If someone tries the Axekick they are getting swept in Muaythai or taken to the ground in MMA!
The only thing this is missing is realism. When hitting pads, be sure to get safely in and out the way of strikes. Few gyms emphasise this

We'll get some low kick ones on here, too!
Just sub in low kicks instead of high kicks.
02:04 He Moving Too Much For Back Kick
What do you mean
He was faking
Bhumi probably means the guy holding the pads went too far? LOL.
You are doing all the moves correct but without power
I guess Muay Thai really is different…
Power yess but not stategic
that is a Scrape Kick, not an Axe Kick. But good video :)

Lol lead axe kick pls no. Love the fakes tho.
