How do you like the new Ahoi Atlantik and NOMOS watches in general?

I’ve had the original Ahoi and have loved it for years. So versatile and it gets so many compliments. Excellent quality.

Hi Aleks, I like Nomos watches and the Ahoi is probably their most versatile product. Nomos is one of the few manufacturers whose watches have a unique design language. Rolex, Sinn and possibly Doxa also have this feature. It's good to see a small company making almost everything in house. Thanks for the video, we don't hear enough about Nomos. 😀

Hello Alex, would like to see your opinion and possible review of Girard-Perregaux Laureato.
    BTW excellent presentation as always.

Thank you! Appreciate it. Not sure if I can get my hands on my here in Sweden, no official GP dealer here anylonger. But I’ll do my best, it’s actually a watch I’ve been thinking of getting for myself many times.

Hi Aleks, I recently bought a club campus in future orange recently and am considering an everyday wear next. Question, were you the one modeling the watch? If not, could you let us know the wrist size of the model?

Hi! Cool, I like the orange Campus ✌🏼It’s my wrist in the video, 16.5cm or 6,5”

@@AleksWatches That's good to know. It actually doesn't look large at all on your wrist, considering it is a sporty watch. I have a slightly larger 17.8cm wrist, so I think I can pull it off. I am actually torn between the larger Ahoi and the Tangente 41 Update, also in blue. I like the cool date mechanism and slightly smaller wear of the Update (shorter lugs, thinner case, no crown guards) but the higher WR on the Ahoi is indeed appealing. I am looking for an office wear, so no swiming, but just concerned if 5ATM WR was enough to handle a sudden downpour.

Matter of taste I believe! I’m used to much smaller watches and like to have some space left on the wrist from the tip of the lugs and edge of my wrist. But I agree, in some angles it looks just fine!
Definitely, my friend that also tried it on has 17,5cm wrists and it looks great on him.
Tough choice, I like em both. Especially the date display on the Tangente. I believe 50m is just fine to be honest. I’ve been swimming with my vintage Cartier Santos that has a WR of 30m without any problems (also push/pull crown). Can’t go wrong with either of the two!

The only thing I don’t like about this model is the green/yellow markers. Very unattractive in my opinion. Otherwise an amazing piece.

Fair point! Not my favourite color combo on the markers either
