And I will further ask why are so many asking for the New York justice dept. to be charged for treason and then sentenced to the same and the defendant…. When the sentence for treason is much more severe for treason.
I can answer this. While the lawyers can work pro bono, there are incredible amounts of legal costs associated with a civil right lawsuit. Plane Tickets, hotels, discovery costs, paperwork and filing costs, expert witnesses all require large amounts of cash. If we are serious about fighting back effectively, every gun owner needs to donate to this man what they paid for their most expensive gun or accessory (I am looking at you dual tube NV guys). Put up or shut up. The choice is yours.
That judge, jury, the cops, and the politicians that made the BS law should all have to serve the same amount of time he has had to spend in jail. This is BS.

When Philando was killed, while being a card carrying NRA member, the NRA DID NOTHING. it took a huge amount of pressure from members of all races asking them why were they silent. there was even an small exodus of members, only then did they respond.

We are so quick to dismiss race as a motivator when many who were officially affect by its policies are still living and those people are in government and are judges and high ranking officials. It's the devil's trick all over again. They've convinced people that it doesn't exist. Later we realize that their obfuscating of this's country's racial history points directly to those who are engaging in divide and conquer. They are now emboldened enough to obfuscate the very constitution that they swore and oath to uphold. This is the pathology of the unrestrained government.

"standing" applies to civil cases - a "criminal conviction" always provides basis for challenging the crime(law) of conviction.
Police (in general) are not the problem.

I currently have a civil case in federal court challenging serial number restrictions. Also, on October 12, 2022, the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia case, No. 2:22-cr-00097, issued an Opinion and Order which contained in pertinent part: “The burden falls on the Government to “affirmatively prove that its firearms regulation is part of the [or analogous to a] historical tradition that delimits the outer bounds of the right to keep and bear arms.” Id. at 2127. The Government has not done so here, and I have no choice but to find 18 U.S.C. § 922(k) unconstitutional.” Id.
Also, in United States v. Merriman, S.D. Tex. case 5:22-cr-01439, a Magistrate report and recommendation (ECF 46) was filed on 10/16/2023 addressing a motion to dismiss the indictment and the report recommend dismissal based on the unconstitutionality of 922(k). See S.D. Tex 5:22-cr-01439,ECF 46 at 20: It is RECOMMENDED that the District Court ACCEPT the Undersigned’s finding that Bruen’s first step is met, and the Second Amendment presumptively protects Merriman’s right to possess a firearm with an obliterated serial number. It is RECOMMENDED that the District Court ACCEPT the Undersigned’s finding that under step two of Bruen, the Government has not met their burden of demonstrating that Section 922(k) is consistent with this “Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation.” It is RECOMMEND that the District Court GRANT Merriman’s Motion to Dismiss Indictment. (Dkt. No. 18).

Based on what I’ve seen from the justice system in NY, he is facing a huge uphill battle. I don’t see why anyone that’s pro 2A would want to live in NY where their legislation is designed to strip its citizens of all ability to protect themselves.

It's also a violation of the 14th amendment. We are equal under the law, the police and security have exemptions of these laws. It would violate his 5th amendment if he would have said he made it. It violated his 4th amendment they dont have a legal right to ask retailers what and who they sold things to. They need to bring them all up its not just 2A.
