Wonderful game. Nothing like a Napoleonic game for grandeur,. The thought of the effort required to paint so many Napoleonic miniatures is mind blowing.
Want to congratulate you on the initial briefing. Its informative and makes the viewer want to watch the vid to see how it all plays out. Also lovely looking table of minis!
Lovely game Scott, really nice table as well. Loved your AAR, the double 6 for skirmishers we forgot that as well, that it's not a Destiny but a DT instead. Grenadier grade only counts as Veteran for morale purposes.
Love GdA so great to see you playing a game. We’ve completed the 1815 campaign and can’t recommend it enough. Great scenarios and all real nail biters. Give us more boys, and can you ramp up the music in the background, every wargamers favourite theme tune!!! 🤣😂🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
i know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot my account password. I appreciate any help you can give me
Been a lot of years since I played Napoleonic's.I remember playing the 1813 Battle of Dresden where I commanded a mixed force of Old Guard and Bavarian's and drove the Austrians back from the gate
Absolutely would love to see some more GdA!!! Stunning figures as well as a beautiful table! I think if you could show more of the dice rolling for firing and charges, but left out the actual movement of the units, that would be great. It would add to the tension of the game without dragging out the video too much. Although, truth be told, I’d be happy watching a complete runthrough, with all the steps. If the video gets too long, just make it a two-parter!!
Great look forward to seeing the report, we’ve played the Quatre bras and Plancenoit from the 100 day supplement. Wish they’d produce some more scenarios
I would like to see you play a small battle, with maybe 7-10 units on a side. Check out your video at approximately 33:40 where you ask the question I responded to. Thank you for posting this.
James Barbour I’ll see what I can do. I was thinking of doing Friedland using ‘Blücher’ rules as it would be too big for GdA I think,... unless I did just portion of the battle
@@CheckYourLeaderTV I have seen some of them. Quatre Bras is a huge scenario in this system. I am looking for something more manageable. Lovely looking table and models. Not necessarily every dice roll but some play through explanations of some of the rules would be nice. Our group hasn't quite got our heads around the retireing/retreating actions. Only played twice though.
Didge H. Have you seen the TFL’s series of videos explains the rules? Rest assured the next battle will be more involved and cover each aspect of the rules in closer detail. This was my first GdA video and I wasn’t sure my audience wanted it.
@@CheckYourLeaderTV Hi Yes I've watched both sets and DoE. TFL went through it quite briefly. It would be good to get another players interpretation of it. Look forward to future vids.
Trevor Hoffman hi 👋 The miniatures are predominately Calpe with some Perry for the Prussians and a mix of Perry, Calpe and a few (not many) Warlord Games for the French. 28mm .

great stuff! can i ask; is that one of the 'killing fields' fur gamemats...and if so; did you too expect it to be browner...? i recieved mine ( bought through "The wargaming company') and its green as with zero shades of brown....aaargh.
@@CheckYourLeaderTV Cool! yeah...i just expected it to have at least some subtle shades of brown due to the pics they have on their site being really quite brown...as a green grassy field its great, its just thats not the color i bought it for based on their pics...oh well, never mind! It looks great in your report and it will look great im sure when i find that shade im reoresenting. I also fancy their clump/tufty finish one so long as theres no suprises in tone there also. Enjoying your work. Regards, Dan
Just found your channel and subscribed. That is a gorgeous looking game. I have 3 of the Killing Fields mats and I love them. Great for use over rolling terrain formers underneath. Looking forward to watching more of your vids today. You are in Australia? I'm in New Zealand btw

Very much looking forward to Quatre Bras, one of my favorites. Ta.
Looks awesome, spectacular terrain, maps, armies...and report! A fantastic 'across the stream attack'...Congrats from France!

Jim Johnson the next battle will show more detail in regards to mechanisms of play.
Great game great models! I’d like to see you combine this with a sharp practice campaign.
Freaking splendid table!
Very enjoyable play
Matthew Anderson happy to hear it’s appreciated
It would be great to see some more GDA games, certainly my favourite napoleonic ruleset
Chris Wilson I’m working on just that. Either Quatre Bras or something from 1813/14

James Barbour

I would like to see a smaller scenario with all of the details shown.
So essentially a move by move phase by phase type of video?
That would be a very very long video
You asked if we would like to see one. Maybe super detailed for one turn and then highlights for the balance of the video.

Is it possible to play these rules with 20mm (1/72) scale miniatures? I can't find any ruleset for that scale.
Yes. Almost all rules can be played in any scale.
@@CheckYourLeaderTV thank you. Is there a conversion?

It’s a Killing Fields mat. It’s exactly what I expected. I have two and I’ve trimmed down sections of the second one and it’s much darker if trimmed.
