Liebertwolkwitz PART 3
Liebertwolkwitz PART 3
In this video I present part 2 of The Battle of Liebertwolkwitz, which is the final scenario from the ‘1813, Battles for Germany’ campaign. This is the largest battle of the campaign with 7 brigades per side fighting to secure the village of Liebertwolkwitz, which is part of the bigger Battle of Leipzig fought mid October 1813. In this video we continue our report from the crisis on the French left flank to the final bloody assault on the village of Liebertwolkwitz by the Prussian Guard and the allied cloudburst of cavalry on the French right flank,… Can the French hold on and carve out an ‘against the odds’ victory?

really enjoyed it, looking forward to part 2
Just finished viewing Part 3 of the battle for Liebertwolkwitz and I LOVED the entire campaign. I very much look forward to any cooperation you may have with Basement 1908 as well. What a Napoleonic delight! One off topic comment though, as a Canadian worried about Trump's promised attack on our country, I must say I cringed a few times when your MAGA hat came into view. Sigh.
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’m sure Steve and I will have a cooperative napoleonic venture sorted in a couple of months. We’re aiming for March. As for actual attacks,.. I wouldn’t be too worried. I don’t think President Trump has promised to attack Canada, (or Greenland or Panama…) 😆
@@CheckYourLeaderTV I do hope you are correct but I'm not optimistic ... to be clear, the 'attack' I mentioned was trade related. I fear it will be very hurtful for both countries. I live close to the Niagara Peninsula only about 60 kms from the border at Niagara Falls. I have always been an admirer of the US and still regard Americans highly (as I do Australia). Trumpism however, is another story. Forgive me also, as I do not wish to politicize this network. Please keep up the great work on Check Your Leader TV and thanks for your much appreciated efforts.
Well done brilliant video
Good game and report, but I'd recommend your opponent inspect those red dice used for firing! ;)
@@PaulChouinard-SI03 and that’s why I always give my opponent the option of selecting what dice he wants 😁. That said, I’d like to know what the average of all dice rolls across the entirety of a game 🧐😃
Awesome, Scott! I've had an idea, and I was curious if you would be interested in a collaborative twin GDA2 battle in my fictional 1815 campaign? I will probably need until mid-March to finish up a few more units prior to starting. The basic idea would be we both set up a big Napoleonic game, we send unpublished videos back and forth to each other each turn (link in email) with the battlefield overview and a return video with our army's plan for the next. We just slug it out to the conclusion, and then we each release the completed battle report video. Thoughts? Just let me know if you are interested, my friend. Have a great weekend! Steve
Sounds interesting 🤨 my email is: trailape@hotmail.com Let’s discuss. 😃👍
Excellent!😎
Great stuff guys thanks for sharing 👍
Like the turns that you go through stage by stage
Love the game Scott, look forward to the next part. Your mate should be more positive about his dice rolling though, it affects his game. He should have moved the Young Guard away from the Russian guns.
@@darrenbelton2213 personally I try to be the ‘never say die’ kinda player 😆.
Wise words and hope you well on the mend Scott.
Fantastic stuff. Inspiring.
Many thanks!
Is 15 minutes into a 2 hour video too soon to claim 1st? I’m guessing it’ll be up to the usual high standards.
Have them. They work. The support material is fantastic. Easy to play. Not my favorite, but not bad in any way. Playable and use a common basing system. Absolutely worth the cash.
Came across this one just now. I play a lot of Hail Caesar and this is outstanding. The miniatures and the board look very well done. I think it’s really a game meant to be played a lot, and your battle report was excellent! Please keep doing these.
Really nice work and great you were able to enlist your family. Great explanations too.
@@mabinogion7023 thanks!
Really lovely work on those minis.keep up the good work!
What a cool looking game.
@@sail2temporary thanks!
I take the supports off also after washing and before curing, easy peasy.
Merry Christmas my friend! Take care hope you feel better soon!

All the best to you and your family for Christmas and the New Year mate. Take it easy and get well soon. Thanks for all your help and guidance on GdA2 and some very entertaining Bat Reps. Good luck with your new Midgard project. It never ends with this fabulous hobby does it? Looking forward to seeing more from you in 2025.👍 Cheers Keith

Merry Christmas to you and the family mate.
Merry Christmas to you mate! All the best for a speedy recovery and thank you for providing such amazing GDA coverage!
Cheers! I’ll be working on Trojan War forces in the new year as well. Midgard does seem to have the right balance of realism and heroism to fit the semi-mythological history that we have for that war.
@@oldschoolfrp2326 my thoughts exactly
thanks for all the videos this year and hope you and your family have a great christmas. Glad you are looking well as I am booked in for the same surgery you've had on January 9th. My surgeon said I'd be back to work in 2 weeks (I train guide dogs for the blind) but sounds like recovery could take longer than that. Anyway thanks again for all the great content.
