- The Brooklyn Nets agreed to a trade with the New York Knicks that would send Mikal Bridges to the Knicks. Reuniting Bridges with his 2016 Villanova Teammates: Jalen Brunson, Donte Divincenzo, and Josh Hart. The Houston Rockets also agreed to a trade with the Nets for draft compensation, in hopes of swinging a trade for Kevin Durant in the future

@@Smido83love the roster potential. You're spot on, Id probably start Robinson since he only runs about 20ish minutes a game and finish the game with Isaiah with him starting the 2nd half also depending on matchups. That second unit needs scoring and Robinson is less of a scorer to me.
The Rockets need to stop letting Rafael Stone make trades, and have him keep drafting talent. I'd prefer that we model ourselves after OKC, than all these teams chasing old star players, and trying to take a shortcut to winning a chip. I got feeling Stone's about to f**k our rebuild.

Are they keeping Randle or OG? I don't think this helps them unless they move Randle and keep OG.
They probably can run the Bridges-Hart-Brunson-OG-H lineup and surround Brunson with strong defenders and cook teams with him having like 40 ppg.
Keeping Randle doesn't seem like it'd help them. Losing OG means they lose their best defender. Having Bridges to replace OG is not the same exact defensive situation.
IMO, it seems like they would run 4 guards and a C more so than anything and try to play fast.

They just went 7 games in the 2nd round with their bench man , steep price for bridges but the Knicks had a ton of picks with and players on great contracts, not a single Knick is making 50 mil , Mikal 24, Brunson 25, hart 13mil divincinzo 9 mil, OG will get a new contract and Randle makes 40 mil( I bet they trade Randle ) hartenstein was a min player, Robinson makes 13 mil,this is how you run a team, the Knicks literally flipped their roster into contenders (now for sure) in 2 years. They sent out their young talent RJ and quickly as soon as their stock was at its peak along with grimes , that’s how you do it, flip your young good assets for proven good assets . Also putting together a team that won a chip on college back together in the nba as proven players is awesome to see.

it is a bit of an overpay but the knicks got unlucky that the nets are literally a division rival. at the very least, they know mikal will play ever single game, and sometimes that's enough to move the needle.

Great move for the rockets the fact that nets was going to continue to compete if the deal didn’t get done. So the knicks trade was predicated on the rockets deal. Win win for both teams and the knicks get bridges and can resign OG. Only team the lost unfortunately is the suns because there next decade of basketball looks really shady at this point
As a Rockets fan, I love what we’re doing we still have the third overall pick we’re pretty much ensuring we’re always going to have assets to do whatever we want and let our young guys get more playing time .
