Thank you for the toads papa.
You should make silver coins of Stan! I'd buy one
Also, I hope you're having an awesome day :)
The american toad enthusiasts facebook group is just full of people posting wholesome pictures of their pet toads and commenting on other people's pictures of toads with more toads. It's some good stuff.

hey im a part of that group! Only ever encountered one asshole when I made a post ab my toad dying, but admins shut that down so fast. wholesome people over there
Fun fact. The common toad which lives in the UK has a scientific name of bufo bufo which literally means toad toad. So awesome they named it twice
i didnt know we have toads in the uk XD
Same as gorillas and the red fox haha, but I didn’t know about the toads so I guess that’s my fact of the day
Couscous food so nice they named it twice
moon moon
@@silly_billy40 We have so many toads in England lol
Hey, that’s my cricket-eating comic! I literally screamed when I saw my art in one of your videos! My toad’s name is Gibby btw and he makes some other appearances on the subreddit in some fun little holiday photoshoots. Thank you so much for featuring my dumb little comic, it totally made my week 🥺
that's actually pretty cool,....congrats
@Shannon Simpson....but Hey is for horses sis?🤔
It's a great comic, I'm glad he featured it!

still considering it
thank you for this mr herping. seeing this after my college courses has boosted my serotonin and will to live i hope to do this again soon

Petition to call Alex, mr. herping from now on, reading that gave me serotonin.
@@kelseylynnmac LMFAO im so glad it did i just came off a LOONG day of studying so im happy 2 spread the serotonin as much as possible
i do in fact feel i deserve these toads. thank you.
I feel like a Silver Dollar with a bearded dragon modeled after Stan would be a good homage to him.✨
Just adding my vote to this. Honestly, I would probably buy anything that’s Stan related. He was a special little guy.
Yes!!! That would be best! I’ll vote for a silver dollar with Stan on it!!!
Honestly i would buy a few stan coins. Along with stan plushies
We have a ton of toads in my yard at night and I always have to move them off my porch at night before letting my dogs out at night.
Year before last late late in the fall I opened my front door and a very tiny little toad was sitting on my step, just staring at the door.
We were expecting snow that night...a decent fall so I was shocked to spot it.
He wasnt moving he was so cold.
I brought it inside and he immediately tried to (slowly) eat my fingers!
I have him some of my love feeders and he ate them readily.
I put him into a Q tub and have kept him ever since 🤷
He unburies himself when he hears me getting into his enclosure and comes out to get fed and I named him Oatmeal and you cannot convince me that he didn't want to live inside 😂
He was telepathically asking you to let him in
I love this story lol very wholesome and I agree! He clearly wanted to move in! Lol😊👌❤🐸
bro he was boycotting your porch in hopes to be let in
There is nothing in this world that is better than toads in hats. 10/10
@Faith Borak.... what about finding lots of gold and diamonds in a hat sis?
I would love to put a hat on my toad but he attacks everything that moves 💀

I read that as “You do not deserve to see these adorable toads” at first.
i still dont deserve to see them, but theyre cute.
Toads are seriously underrated for literally no reason
It’s ridiculous how different the toad subreddit is from the frog subreddit and I love it
Time to show this to my friends to justify why I now have 10 toads. I love them! They’re so cute! Look at the little jumpy bois! ♡
I feel less weird for having 5, thank you
My FBI agent says thank you for introducing me to Surfshark! He hasn’t had to schedule an emergency appointment with his psychiatrist in three months.
I have a huge silver cache, and would love adding a case of whatever you decide to make! Which is quite the honor, I stopped buying when silver was half the price of what it is now.
I can see one situation in which catching as many wild toads as possible might be a good thing - if there is an invasive toad in the area, like the cane toads in Australia. Just don't let them continue to breed in captivity after catching them. Also, local laws might prohibit keeping such species even if they are caught locally. Unfortunately, the cane toad situation is so bad that even if every subscriber to this channel went to Australia and caught a few cane toads, it wouldn't even make a tiny dent in the population.
You are right about toads being full of pee. Years ago, I had a large great plains toad. Every time I picked it up, it would pee all over my hand within 30 seconds. I also had a Woodhouse's toad. It was not nearly as reliable about peeing, but it would let loose every now and then. I have thought about getting toads again, but the insect feeders can be a pain (I despise crickets). My top choice would be a cane toad, but they are illegal where I live because they have the potential to become invasive. It's unfortunate, but I have to agree with this law. As much as I like cane toads, I don't want them to become established in even more places where they are not native.
You can, in fact, catch as many cane toads as you like in Australia! Generally people humanely euthanise them and I also assumed they'd be illegal to have as pets... but I actually couldn't find any laws saying you CAN'T just catch and keep one, at least in my state. I personally wouldn't want one as I'm not super psyched about being sprayed with poison, but you do you!
@@Rekkarfox kinda morbid thought but I wonder if cane toads are edible... because I know in Florida there's restaurants that sell lionfish in order to fund/deal with them as an invasive species and I wonder if the same could be done with cane toads
Turns out you can eat the legs but not much else, and the legs still seem kinda iffy
I used to be very active on this subreddit until my baby died about a month ago. Genuinely wonderful people over there. They gave Stevie so much love and we really appreciated it.
Love toads so much. We clear land and trees from wooded areas for people to build on and when one is injured we take them home and rehabilitate them. Right now we have 8 baby toads and 6 adults. We kept them in through winter as they were not ready health wise before winter hit and was afraud they wouldnt winterize fast enough. The adults will be released at the first if next week. The babies still got a a while. We have fowlers and American toads
A pond in your front yard is going to turn into an incubation center for mosquito eggs. During the off season when my family's pool is closed, the cover fills with rain water and you can see tons and tons of mosquito larva swimming around everywhere by the time Spring comes around.
Just something to think about.
is the toad plushie in the back something you are considering making??? its hecca cute def would buy
ooo that’s a cool idea
Now hear me out-I have a feeling, just a slight feeling, that possibly, potentially, perhaps, just maybe, Alex might *really* like toads somehow.
I like that you are trying to go outside the box for merch, and I do like collecting coins, but I think you might not have a high seller with that or frequent buyers. I think you should look into shirt designs, plushies, or bobble heads! You can do so many designs of the reptiles bobbing their heads and have limited edition ones too.
Really enjoying these new videos!!! Keep it up 👌🏼
Toads and leopard geckos might just be the ideal pets.
Forbidden Mochi
Thank You, Alex, for giving us something nice :)

thank you for this, toads are criminally underrated, also some silver coins would be rad, id buy a betty coin

The toad: *Hippity hoppity your money is now my property*
Their mindset was if a non-human like Scrooge McDuck can be so rich, so can they
I know it says adorable toads but I can’t help but feel like it’s a set up after the last one’s
You should totally build a pond. I built 3 ponds in my life time and it’s a lot of fun and I think it would be great content too. Although most would say you should get a professional, you seem competent enough to do it right and not cut corners.
Many species can be... Toadhabbed
no
Some Toads can get huge. Frankly it's quite surprising
being the only one actually answering your question: yes, i would probably buy a silver coin with a frog on it

I'll never be able to relate to having to use the bathroom. It's just a mortal thing which I am not
That aside, a toad invasion is a based invasion

Finally someone sharing my love of toads 😁 their cuteness is unending ❤️ I also once had a pet wild caught American toad, his name was Napoleon ❤️
Yes you can buy toad urine snake discovery did a video featuring a company that had a couple different scents for picky reptiles. It was the Reptalinks video
It’s been awhile since I’ve watched this channel and I now remember how much I love it
I love my toads. Thanks for sharing this subreddit I now have to join.
I'm a newer toad keeper and this video was fantastic. Thank you.
Those purple toads are *finally* being captive bred by one person (that I know of). I'm super stoked.
On the question of the silver coins, depends on if it’s a series. If it’s an only one time thing then no, but if it was a series then I would enjoy collecting all the coins. However I recommend a slow release series if you do do it, because paying paying $200 for 5 coins is crazy
:D what friends!! Thankyou for looking through toad media with us.
custom silver coins are the physical version of an NFT except u can melt them down for raw material and not code lol
I love all of your uploads 😩

Well. We should all go wild catch all the invasive toads, (and keep them away from our other captives for a lonngggg time) that way we get to help the environment AND free toad so.

I absolutely need a silver turtle coin.
I’m loving the frequent posting of reacting videos :)))
6:24 oh my god you featured my post.
And as to your question. My dad built the pond when he was my age 40 years ago. All you do is buy some pond liner, Dig a big hole, and then put the liner in it. With flagstones and concrete at the top. It was easy enough for 2 16 year olds in the 80’s It should be pretty easy.
does it have flowing water like a fountain or something? I had tons of mosquitos last year and I discovered it was mostly cause of my gutters having standing water
@@GoHerping It doesn’t have one anymore because it broke, the mosquito larvae was never a problem cause our fish (goldfish) eat them. Though we are planning to put a water feature in this year.
This is so perfect cuz I just got my booster and have a fever I DO deserve this
Me tooo
I love toads i always wanted to keep the big fat ones i found but I usually would just feed them some worms and let them go

true. I always liked keeping smaller toads though, like American, fowlers and southern

i had a toad for a while. turns out i was the cause of her death because i was 12 and hadnt done any research. now i hope to own a healthy beardie, ive probably done hours of research.
Yes, yes we do.
We had a toad named Mr toad. Turned out to be a girl. Anyways, we found her outside and it was really cold. We had her for like 4 years. She was already an adult. But she was massive. Literally the size of a small potato. She was cool. She was chill. Low key miss her so much.
