    Hey bud! Great job! I'm going to be doing this to my 67 pretty soon. What kind of grease are you using for the bearings?

    • @leojt9423
      @leojt9423  3 года назад

      Hey there, thank you! Just standard gold colored bearing grease you’d find anywhere. The bearing packing tool really makes quick work!!

    Hey man I'm doing this on my 63 and I'm kinda confused on the proportioning valve install ... do I have to re route the rear brake line to get it over to the prop valve ? The rear line is routed down the pass side and into a distribution block

    Think I got the same kit but my rotor doesnt sit flush on the spindle. Being that theres no instructions I found myself here. Am I missing something?

    How far does this setup move the wheels out?

    • @leojt9423
      @leojt9423  Год назад

      Off the top of my head I want to say 0.75”. I believe I was able to push the wheels out an additional 1” with the right backspacing on the new 15” rally wheels. It ended up being perfect, so much better than how far sunk in the stock wheels are.

      @@leojt9423 Yeah that will work for some people. I think most brake kits do move them out atleast 3/4 inch per side. I however need a zero offset (original spacing) because Im running reversed wheels. Ive been looking for months and i cant find what i need that works with "factory style" (CPP) drop spindles. Its been a nightmare. So far ive had 3 different brake setups and ive tried 3 different spindles. About to throw the damn shitty drums back on and say F it.
