- This free PO-33 kit and audio sample pack is all about some good old Happy Rave.
Man, are you ever old enough for this? Where do I start? Maybe at the point where I am now? My parents are getting divorced. I mean, I'm a grown-ass man and I feel like this shouldn't affect me at all but weirdly enough, it does! Last time my parents came over for our weekly family dinner, they started fighting over everything and all the things that had been lurking in the back of their minds poisoning their relationship (if you can call it that cause things have been complicated for the past 30 years, I guess) came out and it ended up in the decision I just mentioned. And I was standing there in the middle, negotiating between both of them and translating what each of them was saying, mitigating or omitting the things they were saying just to hurt each other in the best possible way or to trigger each other.
And all of a sudden, I felt this weird connection to my old self when I was a kid finding my mum lying on the floor crying, listening to some sad German music because my parents had been arguing again, to the boy who missed his dad who went on a weekend trip with his mates simply because he couldn't stand spending time with my mum, to the teenage boy who discovered that they were both cheating on each other instead of telling that they don't love each other anymore, to the boy who got told that his mum would never leave because of him…sweet but the boy translated this as "it's your fault I can't leave…it's your fault we're in this miserable situation"...to the boy who developed eating disorders and panic attacks because he didn't know how to deal with this situation…to the boy that freaking loved rave music from the Netherlands…to the boy whose idols were Paul Elstak and Charlie Lownoise & Mental Theo and there was this sudden urge to kind of connect with my 90s self, dunno, in a kind of therapeutic way, having a conversation with the boy I was to say like it's ok, it's not your fault, mate! You're cool the way you are, don’t worry too much! Let's just make music, Junge, and have a blast!
Man, I mean, on paper, this is just a collection of Happy Rave one-shots I made in Ableton but, man, for me, this was kind of an emotional rollercoaster ride through my past, trying my best to nail the sound I was going for out of respect for my old self!

If you're wondering how to transfer data to your @teenageengineering PO-33 or PO-133, don't worry - it's super simple.
I've put together a quick tutorial on how all of this works.
• PO-33 Backup File Tuto...
Just download the backup file and connect your device with a 3.5mm stereo cable (use the “in” jack on the left-hand side of the PO-33 / PO-133). On your PO-33 / PO-133, press WRITE + SOUND + RECORD simultaneously (“rcu” should pop up on your screen) hit play on the transferring device. Grab a coffee and let the PO-33 / PO-133 do its thing (it’ll tell you when it’s done)!

I never went to raves even though I feel like I definitely shouldve as i loved the substances that were at em. Went to a few festivals but I was always poor after leaving my parents so didnt go to enough of those either 😆

Wrestling used to be the best right? Such a cool time to grow up, grew up right around that attitude era myself and still even think about going back and re-watching the whole thing but never get around to it

I too play The negotiator of my family, I was adopted by my grandparents and luckily they didn't fight but my sister was always getting into it I'm just about my whole life I would be trying to keep the peace between everyone, it all fell apart eventually w my sis after we all went our separate ways but what can you do..
Hoping from reading a bit about the situation that them separating is the best thing for everyone and leads to everyone being a bit more happy. Still though I'm sure it's a blow to hear at any age and wishing all of you the best thru it ✌️❤️
@@Professor-kaoss I went to a bunch of raves, actually. I mean, living in Germany and growing up in the "abandoned building rave" era, it was kind of inevitable! Man, I really miss those times. Also, I miss being able to party all night and not be dead the next day and the day after that and the one after that one🤣 I could never afford going to festivals but hey, with all those raves basically right next to my home because our house was next to an abandoned industrial area, I didn’t need to.
And yeah, mate, wrestling was the best! My parents took me to see all my WWE stars in Dortmund once and I absolutely loved it! I had my cousin paint my face like Ultimate Warrior and I went topless wearing my WWE belt...man, I was like, what, 9 or 10? Those were the days!
And yeah, thanks for the kind words, man! I'm not that worried that my folks won't get through this. It’s more that I had to face a bunch of traumas I had forgotten about. @@CNTRRNDM I didnt go to many and only went to one major festival and I'm surprised I didn't die, definitely did a lot of reckless things haha
But yeah It was expensive dude even back when I went in like 2011 but I think I was a delivery driver at the time so everything's always been expensive to me aha
I've lived in a city all my life I'm sure there were raves but I was always so introverted and kind of stuck to like three or four friends and we'd go to parties every now and then but never raves.
Actually didn't get into the whole psychedelic culture until a bit later well at least drug-wise and the drugs are what led me to the very trippy music ha
But yeah I was like 20s when I started experimenting with all that or a bit before then 18-20 or so.
That's awesome too about seeing the wrestling show, my dad actually took my friend and I had to see a few shows while I was growing up too and it was always the best! Mainly the house shows but I think we went to one that was televised maybe two..

Danke😁 hatte irgendwie ein paar Schwierigkeiten die Kicks so hinzukriegen...da hab ich gemerkt, das Psytrance Kicks und Happy Rave Kicks ziemlich ähnlich sind...ein paar Psytrance Kick 2 tutorials später hatte ich dann endlich den Sound! Wie dem auch sein...nice Grüße zurück!!!
