me too, Im slowly building a live setup and was a toss up between the volca sample and this, but the PO feels a lot more immediate ( for obvious reasons !!)
Love the KO vids every once and a while. Like Bob Ross taking a break from painting to sketch for a bit, it’s just as nice, a little more chill, lets you see those sound fundamentals at work
Awesome beat! I love the simplicity of PO's workflow, sometimes it feels more inspiring than expensive gear with all those bells and whistles. Would love to see more PO-33 videos on your channel in future!
Dood I just got a po-33 and have been watching your beginner videos from 4 years ago. Stoked to see you still making tutorials for it all this time later. Thanks!
Dude! I love the PO-33 so much! You know, Fatboy Slim once said, "Everybody needs a TB-303," yeah, true but honestly, times have changed and so I'd love to rephrase this…"Everyone needs a PO-33". This little device is so versatile and makes it so easy to create beats on the go! It's crazy🤯
Exactly! The POs, especially the 33 is the perfect gateway for beginners, like me, now I'm hooked! Koala is great, but I miss some features that the PO has, so that's why I mostly use it synced together, perfect combo 😅 Also thank you for your sample packs for the 33, they've been a godsend for learning and experimenting with my 133♥
I thumbs up these videos as soon as I start watching cos I know I'll inevitably enjoy your fun filled approach to making music with funny little boxes.
Got recommended one of your older videos two weeks ago and had to finally pull the trigger on one. It's been blast messing around with it and I'm always looking forward to the new uploads on them!
The lead sounds so good on the pocket operator! I also wish the PO33 could solo the same way as the PO32 especially since I use them together so often.
so using one of these tracklib samples means being obligated to write license fee reports for each track to them for the rest of all times? Do I get this right? Can you really recommend this?
Hey Ricky, your videos are amazing and I've learned so much about sampling with it. I'd love to understand a bit more of your setup connecting the PO-33 (or any other device) to your computer for sampling/playback and if you use some app to route audio between inputs and outputs avoiding loopback and so on... Thanks a lot!
You're back to the crazy wireless headphones again, I noticed the RAD-0 you have been wearing. Pretty sure you been rocking Rosson's. Let a nerd know what you're wearing!
Love the vid and the sounds. Questions what is that dongle coming off the PO-33 in the top right, that I assume is powering the unit? Keep up the great creations.
Hey Ricky! Love your videos and the overall energy. I was wondering what synths you find yourself coming back to most often. I think that would be a solid video if you haven’t done it yet lol. Quite the synth selection pick from now for you, would be interested to know what you actually use most :))
PO-33 makes the coolest loops, but solo it seems like just a cool tool to allow you to get lost in the sauce for an hour with minimal progress towards anything to publish. I imagine if you built your parts/patterns and then exported instrument parts to an SP-404 or MPC, you could track out easier while still being in the physical zone. Keep finalized parts looping on the SP while also working with the same exact samples on the same work flow. But if you wanna fuck around with drums, delete the drums from the PO-33 timeline after you record those patterns to the SP-404. Keep them looping, but clear up your PO-33 for more work to do while exporting those parts to an easier work flow to track them with. Level up your limitations as you level up the track.
I just got a KO for Christmas. I thought in one of your videos you mentioned you could record a sample in the KO double the speed and then pitch it down to save space. Any help would be great! Love the videos and will soon be buying a headset buddy cord on your recommendation 😊
It takes time but you can track it out to DAW. Just a load of copy-pasting and removing steps. Make sure you always keep one pattern empty so when you record in you can chain it to another pattern, that way you get perfect loops.
Hey guys, fairly new to the po-33. I wanted to copy a drum kit from one bank to another bank. I learned it somewhere, maybe here, but I forgot and wanted to know how to do that? gonna write it down to remember
What a throwback, PO-33 was how I first discovered your videos
me too, Im slowly building a live setup and was a toss up between the volca sample and this, but the PO feels a lot more immediate ( for obvious reasons !!)
Same
Yep, searching these devices was how I found this channel as well.

@@artisans8521 yup, you're right! Koala is amazing! Have you tried Andrew Huang's Flip Sampler?

Waiting for my PO 33 to come in. I’ve watched so many videos I feel like I already know how to use the thing haha. Keep up the great work!
Your videos on the PO-33 have been invaluable.
Got recommended one of your older videos two weeks ago and had to finally pull the trigger on one. It's been blast messing around with it and I'm always looking forward to the new uploads on them!
Your PO videos are the best!
I just bought the po133 and have been soaking up content including your vids. This could not have dropped at a better time.
Great video once again bro, I always pick up new tips for the PO each time I watch one of these! Salute
The lead sounds so good on the pocket operator!
I also wish the PO33 could solo the same way as the PO32 especially since I use them together so often.
Just when I start pulling my PO33 back out again, here you are
Love a PO video.
Nice prod! Love the flow of the tutorial too ♥️ Hope you make more of these
This sounds great!
love your videos,,,,cheers from Italy! btw you can set the volume in perf mode

Ive been doing this with my PO, its so much fun

Compact creations!
Yeah this definitely needs the tag!
super dope
I really need to work with my PO's more.. inspirational stuff dude!

Learning so much from you old and newer content! But are those replacement knobs / pots. Do they make trimming easier?
Heeeey I love these, it's been a while!
Compact Creation is back 🎉
Dmytro thank you!
My guy!
13:05 the honeymoon ends.
Always great videos. Seems to have some noise in the background though Mr T?
Help! What do you have coming out of the battery area? Looks like some ribbon cable with 3.5 mm connection??? Thanks

There's lofi, then there's nofi!
Sounds like an arcade fire song

Great tip with the melodic sampling!
Where did you get the case for your PO? Are you running it off usb power off the top?
Thanks for the video!
Also interested on knowing where you found your case with power usb
Case is Teenage Engineering’s own CA-X and the usb powered AAs is by ReVolt, they sponsored some of Ricky’s PO-33 videos a few years ago
More po33 please
that sample sounds a lot like "Pappa was a Rolling Stonne- Temptations 1972 ? "
It takes time but you can track it out to DAW. Just a load of copy-pasting and removing steps.

I like to have in one slot autochoped the sample, and on another slot the sliced sample. Then combine in the track
Bro where can I get the samples you have on the PO33
I've been seriously debating selling my po33 and now I'm like...hmmm
Hey guys, fairly new to the po-33. I wanted to copy a drum kit from one bank to another bank. I learned it somewhere, maybe here, but I forgot and wanted to know how to do that? gonna write it down to remember
perché non riprendi la serie po33 ko??? saluti dall'Italia
Anything to do with pos I am here for
This is how good I want to be on my po33 but being a parent means my brain is like mashed potatoes most of the time 😶😴
Are you able to make something that doesn't sound really good!? 😁
They look really awkward and dificult to work .. Wtf .. definitely got to much to learn before I start getting into thease little things..
You’ve never made a whole track in your whole life😂
What are you talking about
