- Hey gang! The Thunder Saga came out a few weeks ago, and it's SO FREAKIN' GOOD. As soon as I heard Suffering I knew I had to immediately go and make a cover! Though it only felt right covering it with the full context (and I love making things more complicated than they should be I guess, LOL), so I also decided to record Different Beast as well and throw 'em both together!
Once again, HUGE shout-out to Loganne for joining me on this one! Not only are her vocals phenomenal, but those harmony sections???? SO good. We've done several EPIC covers together, among other things, so go check out her channel and give them a listen! (And subscribe to her/ring that bell for notifications/etc.)

Absolutely loved this cover!
You were able to do your very own great take of the sarcasm injected by Odysseus in Different Beast and the rap style speaking of Suffering. Loganne is similarly able to give a surprisingly adorable sounding version of Siren Penelope. Shoutouts to Seth of course as well for those nice backing vocals.
Definitely in my top 5 Epic the Musical covers. I'll try and recomend it to some fellow Winions tomorrow.

Wait, does Jay just have the intrumentals available somewhere? It's just occurred to me that people are doing covers with what sounds like the official instrumental
I wish! But nah, everyone uses something like a vocal isolation tool to cut or lower the vocals (e.g. Audacity or in my case something fancier like Izotope RX). Quality can vary, but it turns out pretty good with proper mixing!
I would buy the *heck* out of an Instrumentals-only album if Jay ever released one though!
