Music Vine is a library that I really wanted to join in the short future, it's a blessing to get your point of view on this kind of things.

"Looching forr best music for your videos..?"
So funny to see (yet another) Artlist Ad before watching this video! :-))
From what I've read on the web, Artlist is mostly interested in the video assets that MA offers. Reading between the lines they are probably not so much interested in their music. I am a bit nervous about where this is going for composers. I wouldn't be too suprised if all MA composers had to apply again to join Artlist. And just read in the comments of Daniel's videos how many succeed (pretty much none...).
But we'll see. Make some good music everyone! :-)
And thank you so much for your insights Daniel!

I feel the same about subscription model music as I do about subscription model TV and film.... How many of these subscriptions are people going to pay for in the end?
I have Netflix, but If I want to watch Vikings on Amazon or The Mandalorian on Dysney +, I'm really not going to sign up for their services too. I'll just find what I want separately and pay direct.
I can see this ending with a separation of libraries into sub-categories so that they can corner more of their preferred markets. But maybe the "Pay per track" model isn't quite dead yet either.

I've been rejected by Artlist. I'll try with MusicVine and MusicBed when I'll finish my cd of original non stock music.

I have been uploading some music to Vfine today. I am making some income here and there, but then again I don' t have much music. It's by far the easiest library to upload your music. I am looking forward to share an update with Vfine.

Did artlist accept you in the end? I applied to the "art" brand of with my stock video work and they rejected it. Few months later and I gotten an email from motion array that they wanna buy my portfolio to use forever and unlimited for a (probably small) one time fee lol
Not a fan of their way of doing business at all.

    Hi
Loving the videos and the fact it's actually free help that's not a scam and simple so i can get started on this, just a quick question and may seem stupid but i just want to clarify. Can i submit the same track to many libraries and licensing sites or would i be likely to get in trouble with one of them further down the line for doing so? I;m pretty sure you can but this is my main concern obviously as i want to create as much opportunity for myself as possible but not cause myself a headache later on.
    cheers

You can as long as you join on a non-exclusive basis. Meaning that you can license the same music in different libraries.
