Papavrami is a master. He uses bowings throughout that are unique to him. In the Chaconne, beginning at 16:08 he does not whip the bow back to the lower notes (for some reason I know nothing about) and it sounds wonderful. At 24:31 he brings out a dissonance which most players do not. At 28:37 he emphasizes that up and down scale like a sigh of exhaustion. He and Ivry Gitlis play this piece in their own particular way and I admire that a lot. Thank you!! Bravo!!!
Found you again violinhunter! And I just found out about Papvrami today after hearing his recording of Ysaye's 3rd Sonata on Spotify and being thoroughly impressed!
And I agree with you about his bowing. I also noticed how incredibly relaxed his index finger is. A lot of players such as Hahn have a pretty tight grip on the bow with their index finger(it's also the way I'm used to holding it and seeing others hold it) but I've noticed some violinists just hold it really loose and use the index finger to guide the speed and pressure of the bow. A notable player I remember who also holds the bow like that is Renaud Capucon.
Also I've noticed a lot of players such as Fischer in a recent video also don't play the lower notes in the Chaconne as you mentioned at 16:08 but I personally prefer it with the lower notes, it just sounds fuller and more connected to me.
The background images are quite distracting. Why do they have them?! Great technique. The sound is warm an very nice. Not too sure about the liberties he is taking, but who knows how Bach was playing it???

At 16:08 those lower notes are the melody. That's why people usually whip the bow back.
@@franztrischberger8023 I think that there are a lot of unclean notes.

C'est sublime, magique ! Bach aurait certainement été très heureux d entendre sa 2e partita jouée ainsi .....Magnifique Tedi Papavrami !

Bravo.FALEMINDERIT per interpretimin.
👏👏👏👏👏🇦🇱💯
The first movements are playable for an advanced violin player, but the Chaconne is damn hard to play.
It's not hard to play, it's hard to play it in the way that it was meant to be played.
@@arta6183 oh yes, it's easy to play with 1000 mistakes.
Perlman does the best chaconne from old bbc recording
venez ecouter r.capuçon
Mais, quest'ce-que tu fais a 23:32-23:33? fait attention !
ton archet lache le son des fois et fait un drôle de bruit, c'est pas professionnel !
This is awful perfect sound but no phrasing very messy
C'est un mauvais professeur !!!
It's a bad teacher !!!
if it weren't for your English we would've almost believed you
Il joue comme un enfant de 8 ans, c'est vraiment horrible d'écouter sa !
Vafanculo
Resto in attesa della tua interpretazione 😅
