A 37-year-old mom of three from Pennsylvania who decided to train for a marathon gathered hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok cheering her on. Now Erin Azar visits TODAY live to talk about how she did in Sunday’s New York City marathon. “It was surreal. I didn’t even think it was happening,” she says. “And then there were buckets of tears.”

Today I rode only 9 blocks on my new bike and was so exhausted when I got home I collapsed on our bed. Cannot imagine running 26 miles but I'm 81and have Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis and kidney problems. I am inspired by this young woman to ride further tomorrow or the day after!
