In my never ending search for good walking areas, the dogs and I head north to explore a remote road on the Canadian Shield. I found this road while scanning Google Earth imagery and it looked promising as a lightly used, mostly uninhabited road where walking dogs might be pleasant and come with few complications (eg. traffic, other dogs etc.).

Happy Canada Day Todd! What a pleasant surprise, to see this video, from earlier this month.
Isn't Google Earth, and Google Maps, wonderful for exploring in advance! Interesting road, in great condition. Too bad, it ended as a private road.
Great, that you took the time to investigate it. Now, you know. Thank you for sharing it! Fun to watch. Pat

@@hervedelnorte7928 I hope you have found time to rest, and take it easy. And you are feeling better.
I do hope the humidity clearing out in the past two days made you feel much better.
It was pretty quiet for much of Canada Day, here in downtown Ottawa. I think many people were just happy to have the day off to relax.
Apparently, there were ten car accidents in Lanark County last Wednesday. That must be a new record. Usually, local drivers in Lanark are polite and relaxed.
I figured it must have been Ottawa drivers rushing to their cottages. 🙂
