    Very impressive work! You have captured so well, the beauty and delicacy of so many plants and insects, native to alvars. Excellent video and photography.
    Thank you, for all this extra labour in the humidity, wearing heavy boots, and overdressed for so many kilometres. Hard work. I can see why there is so little hiking traffic.
    A trail more for serious naturalists, than casual hikers. Your bird count is amazing, and wonderful to see! Really enjoyed this! Thank you Pat

    Thanks Pat! Despite the difficulties, I usually really enjoy these outings. When the trails get more rugged, it gets harder with the dogs for sure but I like to take them as often as I can.

      Very nice work Todd! I can easily see the appeal of exploring this alvar, so the extra labour is worth it! A special location, for sure.
      I thankfully, didn't see the usual swarms of deer flies and mosquitoes, so hopefully you had some relief in that regard. Thank you, again!
